    I really dont like how everything requires a subscription. When you spend so much on the "Console" or "HeadSet" then have to buy it monthly it really isnt for everyone.

    I will be returning this. It requires a Facebook account to work and that is unacceptable as it was not stated clearly in the advertising. I am terribly disappointed as other VR headsets are not so encumbered by this miserable tie in. Best Buy should review its deceptive advertising practices.

    Do not buy. Stopped working within 30 days. Best Buy wouldn’t take it back and Meta has yet to do anything about it. I’m out $500

    Requires a Facebook account !! Not for those who dislike social media, especially Facebook. With so much damaged to society caused by FB, those of us who object cannot add to their stream of income. Seems like a great product otherwise. I didn't go beyond reading the FB account requirement to return.

      1. Unpair and re-pair the controllers
      2. Remove the battery for at least 10 minutes or replace with a fresh battery

    Not properly charging.

    Went to the store today to purchase the hardware and charging dock. After setting up and understanding how to use the vr set the screen froze. I figured it needed to charge so, after a hour the hardware didn’t charge nor did the controllers. Unplugged and plugged back in and only on controller charged after another hour pass. I haven’t been able to use it and plan on returning it back to the store for a new one.

    We were only able to play it 1x and that was Christmas. I bought this for my boys for christmas. They played it Christmas. Tried to play it again 2 weks later the battery was dead. Charged it. Went to play it after the charge. The battery was dead again.

    Doesn't work without a Facebook Account Login, and that is broken half the time. I want nothing to do with overly political Social Media, and I refuse to use equipment that forces me to do anything! Total Trash!

    No oled?????????????? I returned mine just because no oled screen, the old ones looks better in dark videos or space, contrast over the resolution babe, sorry but is a big NO for me, make the next one oled and I’m in again.

    Oculus mandatory software updates make it unusable

    Oculus software is junk. They force you to take every update. Every update makes things worth. The current update has bricked my oculus. I have tried with tech support for so many hours it is obscene. they offer no useful support, there are online forums with thousand of people with the same issues. Dont waste your time on a meta product, get something usable.

    Recently bought this , low and behold go home to try it out and facebook account is disabled ????? you cant use it without facebook , save your money its not worth the hassle and you cant contact anyone to fix the issue. returning right now.

    Had this for one year in January. Latest update and right controller keeps connecting and reconnecting. Happy coincidence for Oculus it is out of warranty and the update broke my controller. I went on the forum and lots of people are having the same issue after update but Customer Service says they know nothing.

    They won't let me switch it to pickup even though the order is literally in stock at my store and they lied to me saying it wasn't yesterday. Now I get to wait 2 weeks for something I preordered day one. Buy from a different website, best buy customer service is useless by the way.

    I ordered 2 of the high gb ones and whent to pick them up and they gave me one and said they gave the other one to a person that ordered a 64 gb one legit makes zero sense I'm so mad, now i have to wait another week to get the other one i ordered 2 weeks ago!
