Best VR for the cost on the market

Better than the previous Oculus but I wish the IPD would go higher. Only 3 settings for IPD (eye width) and if you have wide eyes like me, it might be a bit out of focus. The original Oculus had better IPD settings. However, with the speed bum and improved screen quality for $100 less than the original, this is about the best value for good VR you'll get. The headset sensors and hand/controller tracking are great. So nice not to have to worry about setting up towers in your room. You can use these anywhere in the house (warning: don't use in direct sunlight it will damage the sensors). The setup is so easy. I really like the original Oculus and this was a great upgrade, although some features on the original I still prefer (better strap, OLED screen, controller size, IPD). Still highly recommend this product.

I had the oculus Go which was terrific but this blows it out of the water! Easy to setup and to use very much worth it... I chose the 256 gb version so I Would have plenty of room to store content. I shoot 360 video and this a great way to share those experiences!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He is havin so much fun with it. He is playing solo games as well as on teams with other people. He is also getting lots of exercise, a great work out. I tried it, thinking this is not my thing and was amazed. The entire time I was playing it I was in awe.

I just recently upgraded from the original Quest to this one and it is a lot better than I expected! Both weight and comfort were improved so much that I am able to get along just fine with the provided strap. Still not as comfortable as the halo design, but way better than my original with the Vive deluxe audio strap. Another thing that was surprising was the stock audio is also much improved over the original, so much that I don’t even feel the need to use headphones. For anyone buying this Ana are new to VR, I highly recommend app lab, it’s the only way to get Windlands on the headset, and it’s one of the best VR experiences ever. Also you need to try, “Tea For God”. It’s free although you need a fairly sized area for the best experience, it’s so worth it if you can find space enough for it! This is a great entrance to VR, the best price and quality for first time VR.

Really fantastic after playing PSVR for the last 4 years. Zero wires, no computer or console just the headset and 2 controllers. Resolution and clarity is miles ahead of PSVR. I would definitely recommend for a mid range VR experience. Only downside is you have to have it connected to a Facebook account.

Wow, is all I can say. My whole family loves it. The headset itself is a little heavy and does give you a headache after a while, but it’s incredible! Even the “cartoony” games without the realistic graphics just suck you in. The social/online multiplayer games are a little lame though (for adults) as they’re filled with little kids trying to act cool and curse, so it gets old fast. We ended up with two (shipping issue right before Christmas- FedEx lost it!) so we ordered another for pickup for Christmas Eve, same day the missing one showed up, a week late! We are ended up keeping both and thank goodness we did, with 4 of us dying to play constantly 2 was definitely required! The one game that uses hand tracking is incredible- no controllers required. I can’t wait until they release more games!

I got to admit I didn't know much about this product got it as a gift for my daughter. After playing along side her I can see why she wanted them. Great immersive play and top of the line graphics. Good audio and controllers are easy to use to jp in to the action after few minutes of tutorial

Playing games or playing IN games?

There’s a difference between playing video games and playing IN a video game. I had dinner at a friends and they introduced me to their Oculus Quest 1st generation. What an experience! So I absolutely had to get the Oculus Quest 2. I’ve been playing video games since PONG was considered cutting-edge, and I’ve played almost all of the the consoles from then to now and while the games get shinier and shinier, it’s been the same experience, sitting in front of the t.v. with a controller mashing away. I’ve been wanting more from gaming for years and the OQ2 gives me what I’ve been wanting. Playing in the games with the OQ2, (and I do mean IN, you are IN the games, or should I say immersed), gets you off the couch and moving and it’s so much fun. The graphics are terrific and the experience is beyond any gaming on any console. No wires needed! I highly recommend upgrading from the stock head-strap to the HTC Deluxe Audio Strap. The DAS increases comfort and adds built-in headphones.

The Oculus is great for the family. Each family member has their own game to play. Most games are about the same price as a Xbox or play station game, even cheaper. It also gets them off the couch to play. Only con to it , it needs a longer battery charge to play. Usually good for 2 and a half hours.

This thing is too much fun! My wife and I each got our own can we play games together. The only problem with it is it is kind of a time sucker. We have to set an alarm clock so we don’t spend too much time on it. It is very immersive. This particular one needs no computer, everything is built-in. The only big drawback to it in all seriousness is the expense of the games and apps. The machine was $400 itself and came with no games or apps to speak of. There are some free stuff that you can get. A fishing game that’s a lot of fun and variousOther things but if you want to get any decent games look at forking out at least 20 bucks per game. Our favorite so far as a zombie game where we can team up and just blast zombies for hours. I would highly recommend this to anybody. We are 53 years old and we have a ton of fun. I know it’s not just the games. You can go traveling without ever leaving your house. You can immerse yourself in oceans or deserts or jungles. Start out slow though you can get a little motion sickness from it.

This is everything we wanted it to be. It connects to the computer for less than units designed specifically for that purpose, and you can play it stand-alone. Great value. I hope they don't quit supporting it since the next-gen is available.

This piece of kit is just incredible quality for the price, i've had so much fun playing in VR and have had absolutely no issues with it! Considering the amount of investment that usually goes into a gaming pc and then a vr headset, the fact you get such quality in a standalone VR headset is amazing.
