Helping with the Stalemate PVSR v. Oculus Quest 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a happy owner of the PSVR, I can say the Oculus Quest 2 blows it out of the water. I debated for a very long time, whether or not to buy an Oculus since I had a VR gaming system already. When I thought it through logically, PSVR is a gaming experience, the Oculus Quest is a total VR experience! You can enjoy and do everything with it that you could possibly imagine. The only problem I have with it is the fact that my youngest stepdaughter isn’t able to use it comfortably. Sadly she is 8 years old and her head is too small for the headset itself. If they were to sell some sort of attachment or adapter to compensate for that fact, I would happily buy it and there would be absolutely NO NEGATIVITY with this at all. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering buying this, bite the bullet and go for it. You will not be sorry. I do have to say, the major pro in favor of the PSVR is there is a larger game library than there is for the Oculus. Although, they are adding more games (seemingly) every week!

Cool device, but a novelty at this time.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for 10 yr old. It was really fun at first, but the novelty wore off after about a month. He enjoys the social aspect of playing with friends on other gaming products. If he could play Roblox or Fortnite he may still use this device. Really expensive dust collector two years later.

Great Technology! Fun Games and Great For Exercise
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome piece of technology. I use it in 1 bedroom apartment and I do have to move stuff around every time I want to play but it’s always a good time and a great work out. If you where glasses, then you will want to order prescription lens for the headset. I’d advise against wearing your glasses in the headset like the manual will suggest because you will scratch up your glasses.

Oculus - Quest 2
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good graphics and fun game play. Got it for our son and he has played it non stop. My brother tried it out and mentioned he was going to get one as well. A good alternative from the normal game play such as Xbox and PlayStation. Only negative thing to mention is the battery charge life is very poor and must be recharged several times if you are playing it a lot through the day. Beware if you are prone to motion sickness.

Fun so far. Would recommend.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a fun little VR set. The Quest 2 was easy to set up and run, providing a really fast onboarding process to get playing very quickly. I've used it for games that come on the Quest 2 store, and for games that also come on the Oculus Store (some rift games) and on Steam, all through the link cable that's sold separately. The graphics have been pretty decent, and the options were decent for adjusting the eyepieces to avoid blurring. My 14 year-old son has gotten a pretty good cardio workout from some of the dance and sport games. What's even more fun is you can cast the image from the game onto a TV via Chromecast, so the whole family can be part of the experience. The only thing I've needed to work around has been getting my glasses on with the headset, but it comes with a spacer to help with that process. This is my first VR headset, so take this review with that grain of salt, but the it's been a lot of fun so far.

Great experience into vr
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love it, could have gotten by with the smaller one. Downloading games is super fast and the immersion is awesome. Only flaw is the battery life but adding an external battery fixed the short coming. Gave 4 star due to battery and head strap. Overall very happy with the quest 2.

Was more disappointed than entertained
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's ok. One of the controllers broke after a year & it costs &100 to replace. The selection of games was disappointing unless you like child looking games. Beat saber was as good as it got for me and that costs money.

This is a GAME CHANGER
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to purchasing the Oculus Quest 2 I had pretty much zero experience with VR. I've had the change to try it a few times, but both times (once in a Microsoft store, and another at a party) there was some kind of issue with the headset and they didn't fully work. These were first gen headsets at the time. Using VR for the first time is mind-blowing... You get super euphoric because it's such a true game changer (no pun intended)! The games you can download that is native to this headset are super fun.. I played Onward (FPS/COD type game) mostly, and a few of the social games like Rec Room.... but things changed after a few weeks of use. I learned I could connect to my VR capable gaming PC and have another ***WORLD*** of VR games to experience. Currently I've got over 100 hours of gameplay logged on Phasmaphobia. Enough of what I've been playing... Do yourself a favor, and get one of these. You won't be disappointed!

Meta 2
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son loved the meta 2. He played it daily. Adjustable straps for headset broke was the only problem we encountered. We upgraded to meta 3 and so far its much better unit.

Extremely life-like
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say that this device is amazing. In all honesty the experience is like nothing you’ve ever felt before. We’ve all seen the videos of people slamming into walls and falling over because this thing is so life like. In all honesty though you have to be completely careless for this to happen. You set your own boundaries before starting so any time you exit them it will switch to a camera feed from the front of the goggles so you can see your surroundings. I love this thing, my kids love it as well. The only issue I have is the headrest gets a tad bit uncomfortable after extended play. That was easily fixable though by buying the aftermarket headrest with more padding and a better strap. Definitely recommend it.
