I love this oculus. It is easy to set up. It is light weight and it looks nice. Once you see into it, it's so amazing. The picture is great, feels like you are there. I love playing games on it. What I love is that you are not just sitting in a chair/couch when playing. You are moving around, and you just get more into the game. Has a lot of cool free stuff and a lot of awesome games to buy, from zombies to workout games to kids games for the kiddos. I have also "visited" Paris, Barcelona, Africa, and many other places and it feels like I'm there. I'm so glad I purchased it. Especially since covid, it has been my fix for travel n experiencing something new from the comfort of my own home.

Hands down one of the best Virtual Reality headsets there is. I’ve heard that having to have a Facebook account is annoying to some but it isn’t that big of a deal to me. Great quality.

I am a vr enthusiast. I have owned and played with every headset from the original vive to the valve index. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. But boy oh boy the Quest 2 hits a home run. Sure there are some trade offs. Some of the visual sparkle and perfect tracking are a small step behind the index paired with my rtx 2080ti, but honestly not much. I'm sure side by side one can tell the difference, but pop on the Quest 2, jump into the world of VR and totally enjoy your experience. The wireless freedom is amazing no more tripping over cords. I am totally sold! I truly believe this is the way vr is heading. So in summary save one to two thousand on a gaming pc and monitor. Plunk down $300 to $400 on an all in one system. $50 to $150 on accessories and be wowed with the new worlds you will soon be experiencing. And if you still want to play pc exclusives wile they last pick up a link cable because oh yeah the Quest 2 does that too

I purchase the Oculus Quest 2 for my son's birthday! He's been loving it since the first day. It's very easy to set up. The only reason why I knocked off one star on this item was because you HAVE to use a Facebook account. Not a deal break, but creating an independent account based on email would be better.

It took me some time to get use to the headset. I had to buy a different, better built, head strap to hold it in place. After i recieved the head strap i used it until the batteries died.

After owning an Oculus Quest for the past year and absolutely loving it the Quest 2 was a must have for me. Now I have two quests so that my family can play multiplayer with me and it's amazing! This headset as a standalone unit is great in itself but the real kicker is it can even substitute as a PC headset if desired through the use of Oculus Link or Virtual Desktop. If coupled with Virtual Desktop you now have PC quality VR without tethers or cumbersome sensor bars. If you've ever wanted to try VR but didn't know where to begin look no further because this is it!

Love it. Bought one, and realized we enjoy it enough bought a second so both my husband and I can play at the same time. This is my first VR experience, and I was surprised at the realism and what it can do. I also figured out that roller coasters feel real - so I'm skipping them = had to close my eyes! LOL. There are some things I wish they actually put in a manual, like: 1) Hold the power button down to turn it off 2) There is a volume button on the bottom of the headset (took us a couple months to discover that) 3) HOLD the Oculus button to recenter the screen (the sideways O) 4) Tap the Oculus button to get to the Oculus menu so you can quit whatever you were in... Have fun if you get one!

Love this VR; easy to set up, easy to use. Highly recommend getting the additional strap for the headset; without it the device sits a little heavy on the face.

I've owned every vr set that oculus has put out starting with the Rift. This far exceeds the Rift s and original quest. Great screen resolution with no screen door effect is what we have been waiting for in the vr world. The ability to hook it up to you computer and play Rift games is a nice feature too. Warning! If you have had a Rift or a Rift s you will have to re buy some games you have already bought for the quest 2 such as Beat Saber, onward, Arizona sunshine etc. The 256 gb is a little overkill as my biggest game, the walking dead: saints and sinners is only 7gb or so. If your mainly playing somewhere where there is wifi and and u install and install games quickly, the 64 gb should be plenty.

Wow. Well I had some money saved up for a PS5. But I got tired of waiting for it to actually be in stock for more than 47 seconds. So I got an Oculus instead, especially since I still have my PS4. This is a whole new world. It is my first experience with VR. I get motion sickness on some 3D video rides at Disney and Universal. So far I have had zero with the OQ2. Granted I don't have any games with a lot of motion. But the games I do have, Vader Immortal, Beat Saber and Counter Strike are all really fun. It is especially cool standing in front of a towering 3D Vader. If you a fed up with waiting for a PS5...get this instead!! It is a fantastic alternative.

We are having so much fun with this Quest 2 VR!! With the use of a chromecast, we are able to cast what the player sees to the TV so everyone can see. There is a slight delay but it is still a great benefit. I just wish that you could use a roku, firestick or other device besides just the chromecast. Beat Saber is a must buy game. The entire family is having fun and getting an arm workout! Other virtual "experiences" we have tried so far include a shooting range and roller coasters. The range was absolutely fun! The roller coasters take a bit to get used to. Overall this is so much fun. I think my adult brothers all want one now after playing with my son's at Christmas. Haha.

With the price reduction of this new Edition I heartedly recommend getting at least one Quest 2 but be prepared if you have a family your gonna need more. Having been in the VR scene for a few years now I can say the Quest 2 is an amazing device and I think the average consumer is totally unaware of what is possible in VR nowadays. That said the Quest 2 is capable of playing PC VR with the Link Cable and the resolution is nearly as good as my much more expensive PC HMD's. With the Best Buy no interest financing it made it very easy for me to make this purchase also. Sorry if I sound like a complete fan boy but I rarely if ever write reviews and have no reservations in recommending the Quest 2.
