I dont know what causes this but its not too far off from snapping as I see from pictures on the internet.

After three of them in less than 3 months, I am finally just putting the latest one on the shelf, and going back to the strap it came with. The slightest twisting pressure on the side straps and they snap like a potato chip... Very sad! Possibly if they made the plastic thicker, added some ribbing to strengthen them, or added some kind of armature to allow rotation... Bottom line: IT WILL BREAK IF YOU USE IT... sorry! If you must, buy the warrantee.
