Would give zero stars if possible. Kept breaking over and over again, despite adult-only, careful use. Plastic was brittle and broke easily and often. Item was super glued and taped in so many places, it was ridiculous. Expected better quality from such an expensive item. Definitely only paying for the name brand. Would not recommend and would not purchase again.

The elite strap is a MUST HAVE if you want name brand. I got mine release day and it finally broke like everyone else. I am disappointed that Best Buy refused to replace it so just beware.

This is a total piece of junk! Do not buy it!!! I wish I read reviews beforehand, but unfortunately I didn’t . I got it and it was nice while it lasted, but it broke 3 months later on the side where everyone else’s does and now the stock head strap is back on! Oculus needs to address this fast or take them off the market! It made me mad too, because I had to buy a special case to fit the stupid thing. Don’t learn the hard way like I did. If you don’t believe me, go online and read the reviews or the forums.

Strap cracked after 2 weeks of normal use. I asked best buy if this was covered under warranty and was first told yes, just bring the item in within 30 days and it will be replaced. I hurried home to retrieve the headstrap but when I attempted to exchange it the manager said since it was physical damage they could not exchange it. This was at the Pasadena tx bestbuy by the east beltway on Fairmont.

Good product, but the plastic side band cracked in half out of nowhere when putting it on. Annoying, hoping I can somehow duct tape it together to work again.

I bought this to share fun experiences with my family, and i will say it does not disappoint! When you're playing it feels like you are being transported to a new world! 10/10 would buy again.

Best strap and worst strap....great while it lasted but only lasted just over a month..cheap material that will not last even with minimal use..too bad this thing is $50.

Not the most comfortable and breaks way too easily. I have had to replace mine twice in the little over a year that I have owned my quest 2.

WORKS GREAT AT FIRST... BUT THE SIDES WILL CRACK AND BREAK AFTER A COUPLE MONTHS OF HEAVY USE.. ITS A DESIGN FLAW I WAS TOLD..

You MUST assume the purchase of the protection plan when considering this product. The strap WILL break. Inferior build quality and Oculus knows it... just look around the internet. I am on my THIRD strap in as many months with frequent but gentle use. Get the protection plan and swap it out at the store... or sit for 6 weeks waiting for manufacturer warranty replacement.

Improved my chance of experiencing Vr for myself thank you but It didn’t really feel much like a difference from the original strap.

This is the 2nd strap in just over a year that broke and had to replaced. Glad I purchased the geek squad protection

The salesperson did a great job at upselling me with this item because he had me sold it was a need but definitely is not.

It worked good until broke. 7 months in. Accidently Picked it up from the strap and the weight of the headset made it snap

Had this oculus and we haven’t used it as much as we thought. Overall great VR experience but without having it 2 years I have the screen of death and not even the factory reset has done nothing. Wasted money down the drain

Purchased and returned after all the reviews of this breaking. for $35, you can get a better quality strap elseware.

It’s a great strap BUT it is not very durable I only had it for about 2 months before it snapped seems like a design flaw

This product is detective. A lot of people, myself included the sides of the strap are breaking. I got a small crack along the bottom of one of the sides and I have not mis-used it at all. I can and will be returning it. Oculus is aware of the problem and are currently recalling the item.

Didn't even get a full days use out of it before it started to crack its over priced junk

The strap that comes with the Quest 2 is awful so this is almost a required buy however the plastic sides continue to break.
