Doesn't work nicely. Hard to lay down. Already broke.

1 month after regular use one of the straps snapped off. After a quick google search online I found out that allot of users are having this same issue. If this is a known issue why is this still on the shelves? Dont waste your money and go with a cheaper amazon brand.

The plastic gears that tighten and loosen the strap got either stripped or broken within 2 weeks. Getting them back on track every time I put it on and take it off is a pai. I do not recommend d this product. I can’t even use it now because it won’t tighten completely

Smh. First one broke on the side in a month with little use, returned it and got a new one then broke again!!! SAME PLACE!!!! i used it maybe 6 times cautiously since the first broke and others had d same issue. Honestly I'm not even returning this one!! Waste of money

These are horrible quality and WILL guaranteed break on you. I never once pulled the headset off by the strap and it still broke after about 12mo(which is the longest ive heard of). Im on my 2nd one because I cant find a better option

The strap is great while it works. Like many others report, mine snapped after two months of light use. The side pieces are made of brittle plastic, very poor design. I would not recommend until they change the materials used for the side pieces.

Like it perfect fit just like the original one definitely recommend

I'm only giving it a 1-star because the idea is good but the craftsmanship and the quality is totally garbage broke two weeks after I bought it and was told it cannot be replaced or refunded even though I only used it three times

The strap worked pretty well for about 6 weeks with about 20 uses and then the plastic snapped. It looks like the ratchet mechanism applies stress that eventually fatigues plastic. Maybe I had a faulty one, but then there is no return at this point.

Terrible! I used it for about two month and it broke. I then taped it and proceeded to use it for another month and then it broke it two more places and after trying to fix it is very unconformable. DO NOT BUY UNTIL OCULUS FIXES DESIGN AND QUALITY!!!!!!

A must have upgrade if you use the meta quest frequently!

Do not buy this. It will break. I assure you 100%. I bought the 2 Year Geek Squad Replacement package but Geek Squad changed their policy and screwed me over. They will only allow me to replace it once now.

Works for a short while. This is a great thing....... well, it would be if they used better materials. There are reasons why everyone is having issues with these cracking and breaking. Steer clear. use aftermarket or wait for them to fix their strap.

Flimsy doesn’t properly describe the poor quality of this product. Thankfully I got the protection. Definitely not worth the hassle of having to take it back every time I breathe on it and it breaks. Do not buy! What for a better alternative comes out

Side piece cracked and broke less than a months worth of use. Oculus reports this is a known issue that has not been resolved. Highly recommend don’t waste money on this item, and stick with the head strap that come with the unit.

Works amazing and it’s easy to install I love it..

This head strap broke in less then a week after buying it.. while I was wearing it, playing a game. It says it has a 2 year warranty so I contacted Best Buy who told me to contact Oculus directly. Still waiting to hear from oculus...

Don’t buy broke overnight after 3 months of moderate use. Literally it was sitting in a room untouched and the next day I went in and it was snapped in two. The room was cool. Don’t think plastic can withstand changes in temperature.

Cracked not after even owning it a month and conveniently long enough so it's not returnable to best buy either. You knew the problems this was having and have no warning on the product so should be held liable like the company.
