Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Quest 2 Elite Strap's comfort and improved fit, with many praising how it enhances the overall headset experience. The weight distribution is also frequently highlighted as a significant improvement. While some users find the price to be high, the positive feedback on comfort and fit seems to outweigh this concern for many buyers.

A very comfortable strap for the quest. However, third party offerings rival the quality of this product at a fraction of the cost.

Must have for the Oculus quest 2. Its really comfortable and keeps the device stable. Without this, I felt the pressure on the forehead was too much and lens was foggy very easily but after using this elite strap its much better. Overall I love this.

Comfort is a lot better than the base strap, I have heard about the strap braking but thus hasn’t happened to me. But other than that good comfortability, worth it.

The elite strap for the meta quest 2 takes the pressure odd your face and makes wearing the meta oculus alot more comfortable vs the stock stretchy straps. A good and worth accessory!

Feels pretty comfortable, adjustable to most head sizes, and certainly better than the stock strap that comes with the Quest 2.

If you plan to let other family members use the Oculus this headset is a must-have. The dial lets you easily remove and adjust the headset, which is a huge advantage over the one the Oculus originally comes with, and it’s more comfortable in general.

Very useful and easy but kind of expensive. Also, kind of cheap? Like, it works well but the sides' plastic feels thin and I worry about it breaking. The utility of the crank on the back and the head cupping thing and all that are so much more comfortable and convenient it feels like it should be the default but I guess they were able to save a few bucks this way.

50 bucks is a little crazy but it definitely makes a big difference in comfort especially if your taking turns playing it makes for a quicker and easier setup.

The Elite Strap is a must especially if more than one person uses the Quest 2. Adjusting for different head sizes is simply a twist of the knob. After using the Quest 2, I returned to Best Buy to purchase the strap support

Fantastic product! The standard headstrap doesn't compare to this. It cups the back of your head giving you a more enjoyable and comfortable experience with the Oculus. I've heard of these things breaking but do far I haven't had any issues with it.

Having been one of the lucky ones to not have a weak strap, I have found the Elite Strap to be extremely comfortable especially when compared with the stock strap that comes standard with the Quest 2. Very sleek design, very solid construction!

The elite strap allows me to wear the Quest-2 for longer periods of time. What I would appreciate would be a flat spot where I could velcro an external battery.

This head band with a dial instead of a buckle works much much better. It is easier to tighten and stays in place better and more comfortable.

On the surface, most reviewers seem to agree that the Elite Strap is a great option to enhance the Quest 2, but I don't think it is for everyone. I had received my Oculus Quest 2 and Elite Strap at the same time, so without even trying the stock strap, I attached the Elite. Changing straps was simple, and the Elite seems solid enough. The first game I tried was Beat Saber. Throughout the 1-2 hours of playing, I had to adjust the front and back of the strap to avoid blurriness, and keep the strap from slowly inching up the back of my head. About 30 mins in, I started to have an increasing pain on the back of my head where the strap was located. Tightening the Elite strap increased the pain, but loosening it made the Quest move around on my face leading to more blurred vision. I eventually took the Quest off and figured I would search for any solutions. I read that making sure the strap was down far enough on the back of the head may help, and also that a counter weight (like a battery pack), attached to the back of the Elite strap may also help. I tried this and it was an improvement, the discomfort was less, but I still had to adjust more then I would like. I decided next to try the Stock Strap thinking I should compare. The first thing I noticed after adjusting was that the Quest stayed in place better and there was no blurriness. I played for a couple of hours with the stock strap, and had no discomfort which was awesome! Overall I think it may come down to the shape of your head (even though I personally have a pretty average sized head). I gave this three stars because the Elite does not work for me as advertised It is labeled as having "Enhanced Support and Comfort". My recommendation is that even though the Elite may seem better, do not automatically discount the stock strap as being a solid option.
