The processing speed is higher, the fov (feild of view) is larger, and lets not forget that color pass though. Definitely a big step up from the quest 2. I would also recommend to amyone thinking about get one of these to look into another head strap the one it comes with is not as comfortable but van be swapped out with replacements.

Who needs VR?

I am stage 4 cancer and they go with me everywhere. When i get my treatments i watch movies. When i am at the hotel waiting for treatment i play games or watch immersive videos. Even if i have a stay in the hospital they are great to use when laying on my side.

I went out of my way to finally purchase a VR headset and this one did not disappoint me whatsoever. The only slight issue I have is with the facial pressure you feel due to the weight, even though it's lighter than the quest 2, it can feel very heavy on the face for someone who isn't accustomed to VR headsets. Other than that, after purchasing a 3rd party strap, I've been nothing but happy with the quality of this headset and you even get a super fun game for free with it.
