No 120hz PCVR But Good Otherwise

If/when 120hz is added for not only standalone mode but also pcvr, it'll be perfect (at least for me). Main Review: It's amazing but the current lack of pcvr 120hz is disappointing. My friends with the quest 2 can run pcvr games in 120hz but the quest 3 can only do 90hz??? That's a clear downgrade if you ask me. As far as I know standalone 120hz works, but I'm using my pc instead. Overall this is a good headset but I'm only using the standalone mode to navigate to the Oculus wired link toggle button. I'm not super interested in non-pcvr so take this review with a grain of salt if you only care for standalone mode. Pcvr users thank me later and make sure you get the OpenComposite plugin from znixian on GitLab for steam vr related stuttering.

Not a big difference from 2 to 3

Its only slightly better. Ive had the 2 for quite a while and just got the 3 to see if I would like better. I noticed a small graphics update, but honestly most of the games I didnt notice a difference. The color pass through is better than the original black and white, but its still grainy. Overall if youre looking to purchase a Quest, I would go with the 3, if youre looking to upgrade, I would wait. The difference isnt worth paying for a whole new set and accessories. Im going to return the 3 and just hang into my 2.

I purchased this to replace my aging quest 2. And I had always hated the lenses and the lack of FOV on my quest two. This one absolutely solves that problem. You can actually use your eyes to look around rather than moving your head around to see things outside your direct front.

The image quality is satisfactory, however it is not a replacement for a dedicated computer tower. If you are looking to play AAA games in high definition, you may need to look elsewhere. I would recommend this for anyone who is new to VR (like myself) and would like to experience the novelty. If you are expecting to play games that are graphically intensive, you may be disappointed. Additionally, the strap is unsatisfactory- I will be changing it out for a 3rd party version at a later date. However, I have enjoyed my limited time using the Quest 3 and would recommend it to a friend.
