I got it for my girls and I always have issues trying to cast to my cellphone to see what they are doing. 9 times out of 10, I am not able to cast despite following the instructions and troubleshooting. For that I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

I believe older generation enjoy, but still would be nice if there was a bit more of a beginner level or instructional level

The peripherals are spot on, the lenses are soooo much easier on the eyes. Games also run a lot smoother on the device.

Quest 3 Image Quality is more like low range HD

The overall image quality is not what I would expect from the resolution stated. It's not bad just not 'eye' sharp even after careful adjustment. Games like Asgard's take a bit of time to load. Standalone apps work the best. Connecting this to work via a gaming pc is a chore with mutliple steps and a number of adjustments. There are just not that many compelling game titles available for it compared to Steam. Overall it's fun to mess with and a different experience for sure than flat screen gaming. I'm in my 60 day return window 'test 'period so I'm not sure I'm keeping it at this point.

Might be an option to go, since apple vision pro will retail for $2.5k or more
