For the price, they should include a better head strap. Other than that, it is a great piece of hardware. A battery pack of some kind is a must buy, otherwise you won't be playing very long. If you can find a vented visual interface, it will make it much more comfortable. The included interface makes sweat/fog a real problem even when playing while seated.

Much better graphics and quite a bit more comfortable than the quest 2. Battery life could be better, but I still think its good enough for a play session.

This is lighter than the Quest 2. More comfortable. The battery life is not very good. I must admit has not been a good deal for me. I am on my fourth Quest 3 headset. Three of the Four having lens issues. I currently own two of them. One was set back to Meta. They are going to send me a refurbished one. Not impressed spending over $1000 dollars and only having one that works. Then not getting a new headset for the broken one. Not impressed at all. Still it works well with Flight Simulator. I do have various extra battery straps. Battery life is a little better, but not by much. Seems the snap dragon processor eats batteries.

Great meta quest, so much more comfortable and light weight.

The Quest 3 is so far with my minimal time with it a decent VR headset. The quality of the lenses are good compared to other recent headsets. I have mainly been using the link cable or wireless from a pc so I can’t speak for any of the Quest 3 apps/games. The pass-through is nice and helps you not feel so closed off from the outside world. The built in audio is serviceable. The head-strap can become a bit uncomfortable after a few hours, and the battery life isn’t great, probably an hour and a half average, and it would have been nice to not be limited to 128GB storage on the entry model. Overall the negatives don’t outweigh the positives and I am looking forward to spending more time with it. If you’re new to VR this is a nice head-set, but if you’ve played around with other VR, this one is a incremental upgrade at best and I may not recommend running out and purchasing right away but rather wait until a sale comes along.

It’s amazing! I love the product and is very light MUCH MUCH lighter than the Quest 2. I love the graphics and how the speakers are they are very loud. I do recommend grips for the controllers. I use the Silicone Interface, the kiwi head strap (no battery pack), and if you have glasses I recommend not using them if even if you don’t have the lenses, just wait till you can afford them. Besides that amazing!

Get it. If you love your quest 2 this is just a straight 100% upgrade. The promotion for Asgards Wrath 2 is a nice bonus, and apparently if you redeem that you also get the first game if you didn’t already have it? That’s a PCVR title though on the Occulus Pc app. I won’t go over all the spec changes but the difference in clarity is night and day. The new head strap is better, but seriously, it’s a day one thing to replace if you can. Some games have upgrades specifically for it, but not many, but in general most games are just going to run better even if they don’t necessarily look that much better.

I updated from a Q1 and the Mixed Reality is a complete game changer. The First Encounter game that comes with it shows off the tech in an amazing way. Imagine aliens breaking through your walls, hiding behind items in your room. Then Espire Mixed Reality is another one that goes over the top with how cool this is; your home is transformed into a military base that you have to infiltrate. If you arent into games, this is also an amazing productivity tool, use your physical keyboard and mouse with multiple mixed reality screens that look amazing Overally, this purchase is amazing

For long time wanted to have vr set but the price was very high but with meta quest 3 from bestbuy is a win win the image quality is perfect. Lightweight. If battery is problem for you juat buy power bank from bestbuy and you will play for hours like me. And you can tether it to pc and enjoy best gaming experience ever for chrap.

So far this has been a really fun experience. The tracking is really good, the headset is comfortable. The games are really fun. I highly suggest picking up Blade and Sorcery if you are into sword-fighting style games. It is much faster and responsive than the quest 2. Only downside is that the battery life of the set is really low. Like 1.5 to 2 hours, and full charge is around 1.5 hours. I highly suggest picking up a backup/extended battery that will extend the life to about 3-4 hour range, cant imagine any longer than that is necessary.

So far I love how much lighter it is then the other model. the graphics with the cable are just awesome, The Wi-Fi has to be REALLY good and well placed to get perfect AIRLINK. The interface is really cool once you get to know it, I love the shooting games so far and WRATH is extremely immersive! make sure you have the right drivers and cables for your usb 3.0 and nvidia DLSS is simply a dream come true in flight simulator with a helicopter equipted and a flight stick and some hyperX cloud S headphones....about as 1992-2023 as it gets.
