Meta Quest 3
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Meta Quest 3 is absolutely amazing! The graphics are incredibly sharp, and the immersive experience makes every game feel real and exciting. It’s so much fun to use, and my kids can’t get enough of it—they’re constantly laughing, moving, and enjoying every moment. It’s been a huge hit in our house and easily one of the most fun purchases we’ve made!

As a first time VR User, I'm glad I waited.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always wanted to get into VR, especially with PC VR gaming. I've played a few VR games in local arcades, which introduced the idea and concept. I've also tested the Meta Quest 2, and I was not super impressed at that time. However, after seeing the new technologies in the Meta Quest 3, I asked my friend to let me demo his, and I was absolutely blown away this time. I purchased one the same day. Here is what I like about the Meta Quest 3: - The ability to see objects in front of you without needing to take off the headset is a massive bonus and convenience, especially when using this wirelessly. Setting up boundaries and play areas is incredibly neat and convenient with this Passthrough feature. - On top of the passthrough, my favorite feature is the Hand Tracking. The fact that I can still use this headset without controllers is amazing, and the controls to do so are quite intuitive. This makes casual use such as navigating the apps to watch a show on a streaming platform less painful to grab and go, without needing to look for controllers or batteries. - The charging is fast and awesome. As a convenience, I also purchased rechargeable AA batteries for the controllers as well. - High resolution, lag free gameplay on the headset. Playing games like Asgard's Wrath 2 right on the headset wirelessly was truly a joy. In addition, I was able to plug the Quest 3 into my PC and enjoy very high resolution gaming beyond what the native headset alone allows. While I now primarily use this as my PC VR gaming headset with a wired USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable, I still grab this every now and then to use wirelessly to play games with my friends or stream shows. There's so much so do on the Quest 3 and I haven't scratched the surface. This was truly one of the best purchases I've ever made, and I'm glad I waited this long to get into VR. I believe now is where VR is starting to get into its prime, with better and better games, apps, and technologies releasing.

Amazing Standalone!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the best standalone VR Headset in this price range. It really deserves 5 stars but the simple fact that most people will have to throw away the head strap immediately and replace it with something that allows you to use this headset longer than 20min because of the uncomfortable feeling and pain / headache I would get made it lose a star just for that alone. You would think comfort would be a pretty big concern with these headsets but clearly it’s not and that goes for most that I have used. Just be prepared to spend more money immediately when buying this along with a bunch of other things needed to get the most out of this otherwise amazing VR headset. If your willing to spend the money for one you won’t be disappointed!!

Loads of fun and best value at this level of capa
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for flight simulator VR, for which it works great. But I put on the beat saber demo and it was so fun the whole family got into it and we bought the full version with no regrets. Sure crystal pimax or varjo aero have slightly higher res for $1500+. But Meta Quest 3 is unbeatable at $500. You simply cannot get this level of resolution, ability to do PCVR (flight sim etc), augmented reality capability at this price point. If you are on the fence, just get it.

Quest 3 Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Quest 3 is a very cool experience overall. Having upgraded from a Quest 1 in the past, the sharpness and clarity are a significant upgrade, and the graphics look much better too. Mixed reality is a cool feature that I'd like to see utilized more in the future. The only complain about it I have is the strap it comes with. The strap is uncomfortable and can apply a lot of pressure on your forehead. I got a BOBOVR strap and it helped a ton. Other than that, I would recommend it if you are interested in portable vr.

The Best VR You Can Buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got a PSVR as well and let me say this headset is just as great if not greater than Sony’s for a few reasons. There isn’t cool features like Eye tracking and playing it with your PS5, but I couldn’t care less when I can download my games and mess around with Mixed Reality and use my own hands as controllers. This thing is so cool, I genuinely haven’t put it down since I got it a bit after the PSVR and being able to play it anywhere and cable free is the actual best experience you can have when playing VR.

My favorite so far
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having owned the quest go, rift, quest 1, quest 2, hp reverb, this is by far my favorite. The pancake lenses being my favorite part. The clarity you get without the need to constantly reset the position on your head to keep a clear picture is without a doubt. One of my favorite features. And another factor that I really enjoyed though was not that interested in was the virtual reality mixed with the pass-through in particular playing the one game they have where the little aliens come down and take over your room that you're sitting in and you have to shoot them is much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. But even as a PC headset which is what I mainly use it for, it is by far the best one I've used so far based on the ones that I have listed. I have owned already. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation.

Oculus 3 leaves 2 in the dust!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Way better than Oculus 2! I love playing Pop1 and just by upgrading to the Oculus 3, my accuracy has gone up due to the high definition! Graphics are so much clearer and crisp, surround sound is amazing, and the headset and controllers are smaller & lighter improving the overall experience. The immersive mode is cool too turning your home into part of the gaming experience and passthrough is now in color! I only hope that Meta made the controllers more heavy duty so that I dont get drift issues in the future!

Coming from gen 1 VR, I am absolutely blown away
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first vr headset was a dell visor in 2016/17 that I played around with for 20 hours total before I was bored. The game library, the wires, the bulky uncomfortable headset.. it just wasn’t a great experience. But you could see the potential. The meta quest 3 is my first time jumping back into headsets and I have to say I am amazed. This feels like a new world has finally opened up. A new medium of consumer technology. The library of games you can play between the PC and stand-alone library is massive and filled with wonderful games and experiences.. more than I will ever try. The headset is completely wireless and can even wirelessly connect to a Pc for additional power and game libraries. The headset is small, light, and fits comfortably on your head. And again, NO WIRES! Upgrading to the elite strap with battery feels almost like a necessity. I used it for ten days before I got the extra battery and felt I was consistently worried about battery life or having to stay plugged into power while using it. The extra battery completely erased my need to ever be plugged in while using it. So in all, I’ve spent over $800 on the headset, elite strap, games, and accessories.. so it’s by no means cheap. But I will say as having a short attention span relating to toys, I already know I will get endless joy from having the device and will probably save a lot of money I would’ve spent on other toys and experiences.

For Entry Level VR, You Genuinely Can't Beat It
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, it is an absolutely phenomenal device. While I'm not a huge fan of Meta, you have to give credit where credit is due. It's Price:Performance is unmatched. Pairing it with a decent gaming computer opens up so many new possibilities at half the price of the next entry level option. It isn't a perfect device, the passthrough cameras still definitely looks like your seeing the world through a camera, but in my opinion, they cut the corners in all the right places to keep the price down. Pros: Cheap entry into standalone VR and PCVR if paired with a gaming PC Mixed reality content is good quality and releasing frequently Display is high resolution and high refresh rate Controllers are light and responsive Hand tracking has improved significantly Mixed Reality content makes playing in a small apartment possible. Mic Quality and Sound Quality is A+ Cons: Short battery life. For longer sessions (2 Hours+ you're going to need an extra battery) Meta decommissioned Oculus Home (PCVR "Home" Environment) - This was a super cool feature and it's really a shame that they killed it. Requires a Meta Account or Facebook Account Most games have a base price and then dozens of costly DLC packs that you're going to want, but makes the price tag of the game more than what you'd likely want to pay. Not a significant step up performance wise from the Quest 2. If you're already using a Quest 2 for PCVR, this might not be worth the upgrade unless you're really looking forward to Mixed Reality titles. Meta/Facebook Customer Support is atrocious. Do yourself a favor, buy this from Best Buy, put a Geek Squad protection plan on it, and thank me later. Overall, it's unmatched in its class and its price range. Your next best option is $1000 and requires a computer... Apples Vision Pro, while likely significantly more powerful will not be worth the 7x price premium.

"Next-Level VR: A Must-Have for Family, Fun, and t
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Meta Quest 3 (128GB) is absolutely incredible! The mixed reality is mind-blowing — I can play games right in my backyard while still seeing my surroundings, making it feel like the virtual world blends perfectly with real life. I was so impressed, I bought three! One of the coolest features is being able to watch a movie with my kids at the same time, even though they’re in California and Florida. It feels like we're sitting together in the same room. Whether it’s gaming, social experiences, or just hanging out in a virtual space, this headset is next-level. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the most powerful and fun VR experience out there!

Great headset with clear lenses
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best VR headsets I've used. The pancake lenses have edge to edge clarity, no glare, and a wide FOV. The mobile processor is very powerful compared to the Quest 2. The only downside is the battery life is terrible. You'll need a headstrap with an external battery if you want to use this headset for an extended period of time. The included headstrap is comfortable for me, but lots of people have complained about comfort issues, so it probably depends on your face/headshape.

New design is worth it & amazing visuals
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the Quest 2 and thought it was great, however, it felt like a literal brick on my face and any quick movements would cause it to shift on my face… the Quest 3, does the opposite & I couldn’t be any happier. The new design feels amazing while having the headset on & feels extremely comfortable. The visuals are stunning! Only downside is battery life, however if you don’t turn on 120hz and keep it default while using a Oculus Link cable then you get a REALLY long use of it.
