I have all oculus’s and I believe this is a great step up from the 2. It feels better and has better graphics on the newly enhanced games. The controllers also feel better. I am happy with my purchase.

This is my first vr headset ever and what a great buy. I ordered this online and it took quite a long time to recieve it. It came in pretty solid packaging and started up out of the box. It plays great and setting up boundaries are easy and straight forward. The quality of image is so nice and crispy. I would not get the quest 2 even at the great price its selling for. My only gripe is that the stock headband that it comes with is very uncomfortable after only an hour. Definitely buy the cheaper kiwi version on amazon or something because for 20-30 bucks it makes the experience 50x better plus you can play for longer sessions. If you want to play steam games with it make sure to purchase virtual desktop (15$ retail) in the meta store and youll thank me later.

Having owned a Quest 2 the first thing you will notice is the increased resolution it is really noticeable also the full-color view of your environment is way better not perfect. Havn't tried Mixed really yet but will. No real games I think that take advantage of the new hardware but a good upgrade from the 2.

The Meta Quest 3 is the future of gaming. Mixed reality and immersive virtual reality await you in this VR headset. The diverse applications for this thing are endless. Productivity and exercise applications, meditation and mindfulness, and then straight up gaming - from sports to shooters - this thing can do it all. The games are reasonably priced and the return policy on apps is very accommodating. If you have vertigo or are easily disoriented by changing visual perspectives, it may take some getting used to or may just not be for you. But if that isn’t an issue or you’re willing to work thru it, you will not be disappointed with the Meta Quest 3

The Meta Quest 3 headset is insane! It's like a glimpse into the future of VR, and it's an absolute blast whether you're hooked up to a gaming PC or playing standalone games. The mixed reality feature is mind blowing, blending the virtual and real worlds ridiculously well even the tutorial had me going wow Overall, I'm loving the Quest 3 and think it's a must try for anyone curious about VR gaming and love taking a peek into the future of technology .

I was skeptical about upgrading to the quest 3 as I owned the quest 2. The cameras are phenomenal on this headset. No more need to tap twice to use the pass thru to just get a grainy black snd white image with poor depth perseption. These cameras actually have better depth perseption, and did I mention actual color, Finally!!! Thanks to the cameras you can not only use it for VR but for AR and boy does it do a great job at it! Definitely would recommend the upgrade to anyone! If your new to VR and headsets lets just say this is an all in one solution and an amazing first starter. No need for cables to be hooked up and no need for a computer. No need for graphics card to run vr games as it does this all on its own. If you do plan to use your computer for vr witch, frankly I dont know why you would, you will need a computer with a graphics card. Just a reminder you DON’T need a computer or graphics card to run any games on it! Definitely glad I upgraded!

The quest 3 feels leaps and bounds ahead of the quest 2. With the advancements in resolution and lens quality, it finally seems like a true VR experience is within reach for a more casual consumer.

I personally have only tried it for a few minutes, and it was pretty cool. It was a gift for my son though. It was an upgrade to his quest 2. I haven't seen him since. He has been living in virtual reality since christmas. I've seen the avatar of him left in my reality be a gorilla flailing his arms with friends. I've seen him fight zombies invading our home. Ive seen him laugh, scream, and do battle with inanimate objects i cant see. I dont know if my personal opinion matters much.... i miss my son a little. If you could enter into his reality and ask him though, im sure it is everything he wanted and more. Please tell him i said hi.

Very good upgrade compared to the meta quest 2, the mixed reality works really well, and my whole family loves it!

First I must say the quality control screen quality seems to be very different from headset to headset. I purcased this 128 gb model on day one release. First thing you will notice if upgrading from a quest 2 is the clarity of the lenses. I returned this model for two reasons. Firs and main reason was the black evels in my first headset was very bad. Way worse than my quest 2 which was disappointing. Returned and upgraded to 512 gb model. The new headset did not exhibit the poor black levels and Id say are on par with the quest 2 so be aware. I'd recommend playing a game with very dark scenes like vader emortal to test the unit you get. Besides that, everything else was a solid upgrade from quest 2. Pcvr works great with no artifacting or compression noise that I can see. Way better than quest 2. Clarity is amazing.

Quest 3 with mixed reality really outdid themselves with this upgrade. The headset is weighted differently, so you won't get fatigued during long games. No more VR face. The graphics are intense.

Decent resolution and usability for the price. Battery life can be longer. It is still on the heavier side and leaves a mark on your face after use.

This headset is amazing. But honestly...Meta is treating us who buy it as paying beta testers. I could understand it passing the alpha tests; but issues with battery and a whole bunch of others you can find with a simple search, it was not yet ready. Still i love the device and what it is capable of.

The screen is a very big upgrade over the Quest 2, and the passthrough feature is very good. The only complaint I have is that the battery drains very quickly in most scenarios, and keeping it plugged in while you're using it may still drain the battery.

We purchased our Meta Quest this year as a family gift and our kids love it! The graphics, sound and light weight really provide a great playing experience. Absolutely love it!!!

Enjoy the mixed reality. Noticed that more room lights made the difference in video weather it was vr or miked . The battery uses more power when in mixed mode so less time to use still love it.

Have a Quest2 and it’s good plus. Quest 3 is Great. It is lighter which is a huge plus for the kids and for me.Overall a much crisper image,faster,sound quality enhanced. Well worth the money.

Better than q2 great for watching. pass through is awesome. Only cons is battery life
