I bought this because it was the cheaper between the Apple Vision Pro. Plus, I can get better familiar with VR without feeling I spent a lot for something I do not frequently use. I love it. The amount of social apps are great however, there will be a time the amount of traffic flow will lessen through time. I hope Meta comes out with something new to keep the gamers interested.

Night and day difference compared to the Quest 2. Better graphics, better tracking, colored pass-through.

Its pretty good. Pass through is whats been misinf from vr headsets. Definitely the next step in the vr world. Not 5 stars due battery dying so dast but easily fixed with a separate purchase with a battery bank.

I've used every Quest, the valve index, and every Vive. The Meta Quest 3 is the best headset currently on the market. The pancake lens make for a clear display, finally free of the screen door effect. Increased fov compared to last gen, better pass-through which makes for some fun mixed reality experiences (just avoid using pass-through in darker environments). And the best part is that like all Quests this is a complete standalone headset. The difference is that with Quest 3 that no longer is a trade-off for quality. I still think $499 is a good price even though it's much more expensive than Quest 2, as with PC headsets you have to pair it with an expensive PC compared to this incredible standalone experience. One star deducted for the default head strap being uncomfortable after a while.

PianoVision is 4 stars. Battery life is 2. Other games seem very interesting, but we are focusing on the PianoVision. That is definitely worth it. Other games are amazing, but the options are few. Possibly worth the money. I purchased the 128 gb version and the free game would take up nearly 40 gb. So, 3 stars for costing so much and providing so little in battery and storage.

I am relatively new to VR. Didn’t get into until a few years ago. The Quest 3 is my first Quest headset and boy it doesn’t disappoint. First off the clarity of the screen with a massive sweet spot is great. The quest interface is super easy to use and I was up and running in minutes. It’s comfy to wear and so far is just a pleasure to own. I’m finding myself using the headset for mixed reality a lot and for games that require a lot of movement. I highly recommend this.

I bought this for my son, but many games are teen or older. It is really cool, but not as fun for 12 and under. It has some really cool tech though, it is fast and responsive. Games are well done and I could see being able to play for hours fully immersed. Battery life could be better, seems to be about an hour of gameplay.

I loved this headset a lot! The reason why I returned it was because it would get motion sick after some time and some games would almost get me to vomit. However it is really fun and felt very real at times. I loved that some games worked really well with the hand tracking! I loved that feature! One thing that I don’t like was the expensive game store. The meta store is the only place to buy a game and I found the prices to be high. I am all about supporting the developers but there is no competition to entice cheaper prices or even sales. I did find much success connecting it to my pc with a long cable so I can play my pc games in vr.

Upgraded from the HTC vive and am not disappointed. I didn't think I would really care that much about mixed reality but it's pretty cool. The passthrough quality isn't perfect but I'm happy being fully wireless. Also with steam link or virtual desktop I can play all my Steam VR games. I've had a little bit of lag playing through steam link and VD but after playing with the settings it's def better. Overall I'm happy though and if you're in the market I'd say pull the trigger.

I went in skeptical on the visual quality of this as I was coming from a vr headset with OLED lenses. I was very surprised at the graphics quality and the low light viewing as well. Honestly is isn't as bad as most make it out to be. I do recommend an aftermarket strap as what is on it is no good and leaves it very front heavy. Storage wise, I've got about 8 games on it currently with just the basic storage model, didn't need to opp for the higher storage model.

After using the Oculus Rift (CV1) since 2017 and upgrading to Quest 3, it was worth a purchase. The screen quality is a major improvement with the upgraded resolution, along with the new pancake lenses that make a bigger sweet spot when looking around. The strap is good enough for short sessions, but it can get a bit uncomfortable in long use. The controllers are similar to previous controllers, but they removed the ring and added touch-plus functions. What I wish they included for the Quest 3 are games that come with headsets. When getting the Rift, it came with four games, such as Robo Recall, but with the Quest 3, you'd get a free game that won't come out until later in the year. Overall, it's worth getting if you've been using an older headset or are new to the metaverse.

The fact that the clarity is so great despite where your headset sits on your head is worth the upgrade alone! And mixed reality!
