I'm impressed with meta's latest quest model, having been a PCVR fanboy since the index released. It's incredibly slim, lightweight, and the aftermarket support is fantastic. The fabric strap and the default face gasket are disappointingly cheap, but luckily there's plenty of options like halo straps and Kiwi elite, and face gaskets like from AMVR and my current favorite, Globular Cluster Inside the headset, the picture is clear but the color accuracy suffers greatly from the LCDs and the black levels make any game that takes place in the dark almost unplayable.

I have the Quest 2 which is great and been using it for the past year. But the Quest 3 has taken it to a whole other level. The new lenses are so much better. The passthrough is great and it is a lot of fun. I only wish they had had a 256 GB. the 128 GB is not enough. Why even make a 128GB ?Some of the games, programs take up alot of space and I really do not want to install, uninstall and reinstall, just to fit something else. I'm considering exchanging for the 512 GB version. This is from someone who did not grow up playing video games, VR or with computers, This is amazing and so much fun. If your new to this, for me First Steps, The Hand, Wander and Beat Saber were a good start.

My first vr headset. I really liked it and had a lot of fun but ended up deturning it due to netflix and youtube quality being very poor on the headset. Everyrhing else worked wonderfully. Played a lot of superhit and boundries were easy to set up and felt very intuitive to use. Highly recomended for gaming not so much for streaming. Maybe once they iron that out i will get another one

I own 3 VR headsets and the Quest 3 is currently my overall favorite. When I’m using my main PC, I use the HP Reverb G2 due to better depth when playing MSFS. I prefer the Quest 3 for everything else though. Using Steam Link, I can play games wirelessly anywhere in my home. The mixed reality is insane as well! Instead of me boring you with other stuff, but buy this if you were ever on the fence about it. Totally worth it!

Lots of fun! This system works well, but there are two issues. One being its short battery life. Two not a lot of games, but hopeful more are coming out.

I bought from my granddaughter one and she raves about it so much. I bought one for myself and it give me an opportunity to play a game with her due to the fact that we live in different states. I find the game very challenging, fun and it keeps me young, keeps me going and I would recommend that for any Senior (66)

Amazing Upgrade That Deserves a Better Headstrap

A massive upgrade from the Quest 2 in just about every aspect. Passthrough is in high quality color and significantly upgraded hand tracking makes menus accessible to more people. A better WiFi chip makes wireless VR streaming so easy to manage. Mixed Reality titles are in limited quantity and quality though. With multiple anecdotals from friends trying games from the Quest 2 and 3, they can't see why anyone wouldn't upgrade. That being said, if you plan on using the Quest 3 for more than 30 minutes at a time, you're going to want to purchase a deluxe headstrap that ISN'T the one from Meta (major battery flaw). The BoboVR M3 Pro is an option that's affordable.

This is our first VR headset. It has been amazing so far. We've played many different games (Beat Saber, Job Simulator, Contractors, Gorilla Tag, etc.) and each one has been a dun experience. I do, however, on occasion have issues with the controllers losing tracking or the hands (in game) going wonky. It may be user error, but it does get annoying. The battery is also not great, but we bought a battery pack and now wear it in a fanny pack while playing and don't have to recharge immediately after someone uses it. Overall, it was an amazing purchase and would definitely recommend to anyone considering it.

We love the headset. The only thing that needs improving is battery life and the horrible headstrap. I did buy the bobovr battery strap and it has helped with comfort and battery life, but the battery they include is not powerfull enough to recharge the device. It just helps to prolong it dying. Those two gripes asside i think it is great. I use it more for pc vr than stand alone but the experience is great either way.

This is probably the best vr headset for anyone wanting to try out VR. It comes with everything you need and is pretty easy to set up. A couple answers to questions you may have before and/or after you buy: 1) The AR passthrough will likely not impress you if youve seen videos of it or the apple vision pro. What you see on videos is not what you see actually using the headset. 2) the included strap sucks. Invest in s third party one like bobovr if you plan on using it for more than 20 mins per session. 3) using on pc is finicky, look up some guides for good settings.

I hadn’t played in VR since the Rift and Rift S. They were good for what it was at the time, but the resolution left something to be desired. Fast forward to now, the Quest 3 is a huge jump from them, better tracking with no base stations, and great performance standalone. Dont get me started on how great PCVR is now, and that’s playing full wireless through Virtual Desktop. If you’ve been waiting to get into VR in general, this is it.

While I personally am not a VR guy and I ended up returning this, I can attest to its awe and wonder. The amount of things you can do with this headset are overwhelming; I recommend making a list of things to do and install before even turning this on. From games, to VR documentaries, to VR museum and landmark tours, this has it all. Highly recommend to try out and to people who enjoy VR stuff.
