I currently have a quest 1 & It’s a bit better but not worth the upgrade for 499.99 ; pass through is not as good as advertised. It looks like the grey screen of previous quests but with color. Hand tracking is improved but time. I never lost track while playing. Moderate improvement but not worth 500$

The games are fun and the quality and graphics are awesome. The Quest 3 processor is fast and quite capable of running the games. A bit pricey, but the games prices are very good compared to the consoles like the ps5 and xbox, but If the Quest is within your budget, i highly recommend it, you will not regret it.

Big update over Meta Quest 2

The difference in more pixels make a big difference in comparison to Quest 2 even PSVR 2. 2) New AR cameras to see the Passthru are a huge difference in quality and color, also makes the Quest 3 a fully VR and AR wireless system. As you know it aslo went up in price, but everything is going in price so what can we do? Great headset.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cool af but the battery is sketchy if you do not take the measures to set the settings and charge with provided charging equiptment and specifications the headset will start to release pressure in the hot af battery thats on your face so luckily they got a warranty program to cover the cost this time tho they wouldnt give me back my money i paid they forced me to do store credit and i didnt appreciate that the firat time i took back something they were alright the way i see it if i spent the money then give back the money

But then for his birthday we saved up and got him his own quest 3. He is in love with it. The color scheme is much nicer and the graphics are great. With the quest 2 I felt sea sick but had no problems with this one. Definitely worth the money.

The nose area is poorly designed, causing constant fogging, and the strap squeezes your head painfully. For $700, it feels like a money grab to have to spend more on accessories just to make it playable, especially because they released the same accessories at launch. The graphics aren’t much better than the Quest 2, and the pass-through mode is a low 480p, making it almost unusable. Overall, very disappointed with the product.

The battery is great especially because he can hook it up to his gaming computer. The hand tracking could be better. It's nice not to have to take the headset off to clean his room. He can clean, put on pass through, and watch a video.
