Very nice unit with improvements all around. New software that takes advantage of upgraded specs seems a little thin right now, but new releases on the horizon. Color pass-through is a unique experience with mixed reality. Get one, if you are even a little curious . You won't be sorry.

The whole family enjoys the quest, from music and fitness games for the adults and fighting, adventure, exploration games for the kids. Its so immersive, it really feels like your in a different place!

With apps like wander going on a trip across the world in your living room is very much possible. Audio was great. Just so many add on offered it seems some of those things would be a part of the packaged dealed product. Overall 8.9 out of 10

Great at full battery

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Headset itself is great quality… the visuals are stunning, the head strap is way comfier than the last gen (but still isn’t the greatest). However, the battery life is unbearably bad. I was hoping updates would fix this by making it more efficient or possibly even removing the wattage barrier so you can charge it while playing without it eventually still dying. Nope… still bad. You’re lucky if you get 2 hours of solid playing without being plugged in. You’re lucky if you can get much longer even if it’s charging the whole time! This is the biggest downside to me. With some good accessories, you can get past this. Investing in an external battery pack that is easy to switch out while playing is definitely necessary… it’s just sad this isn’t included with the Quest in the first place. Maybe Meta will either fix this battery issue or add in complimentary head straps with build-in spare batteries in the future. Who knows…
