    Not quite a standalone yet. Its too new to really review any new games or anything. But, it a very intuitive device, and as long as apps and games keep releasing and updating for it, it will be among the greats

    I own an Index and Quest 2. The Good: Lens are clear! Field of view is a great improvement over Quest 2. AR pass through is awesome! The Bad: THE MICROPHONE! Got into VRChat and everyone knew i was using a Q3. I was hoping I could get past it but it was clear from everyones reactions it was bad in a negative way. I put the Q2 on my head and spoke through my Q3 and it sounds like a cell phone. My friends have been finding out instantly who has a Q3 in VRC instances without anyone telling them. I dont see how they could have dropped the ball when the Q2 mic was so good! This is the reason i am returning it. It is one of the key components for a social experience.

    A great headset and an upgrade over the quest 2. Took off 1 star because the head strap feels cheap and uncomfortable. Already replaced it on my unit. Love the color passthrough and can't wait to see where they go with it.

    I'm not a gamer. I'd consider myself a technologist but I still didn't enjoy the Quest 3 enough to keep it. I returned it after 3 weeks. It feels like the VR experience is still in its infancy and all the set up to download a game was pretty arduous. Not to mention you're always being upsold. The coolest thing was watching movies or the live music, very cool. But I also got nauseous using it. I got less less nauseous after a few times using but it never totally went away. My perception; this technology still has a ways to go before a casual user like myself would enjoy it.
