Fun for us all
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy the Meta Quest 3. The graphics are a big upgrade from older models, we had the Oculus 2, everything looks sharper and more immersive. The mixed reality feature is fun and cool to try, especially for quick games and demos, though it still feels like it has room to grow. It’s comfortable for shorter sessions, but the battery life could be better and the included strap isn’t great for long playtimes. That said, it’s super convenient being completely wireless and not needing a PC or console. Overall, it’s a solid VR headset that’s easy to jump into and great for both gaming and exploring VR. Was definitely happy with the purchase.

Great entry into VR
|Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Meta Quest 3 has been nothing short of fantastic. I've been using it off and on for about two weeks and the upgrade this is from the original PSVR is amazing. The lenses feel great. I haven't had any issues with immersion at all. Getting 120HZ is amazing and makes the overall experience super smooth. The passthrough is an absolute game-changer. Being able to create massive screens in front of me anywhere in my home is great. I almost don't even need my two monitors for work anymore, as you can simply create a similar display using the apps. I can't really vouch for how it feels to play wireless, as I really only use the headset with SteamVR and a link cable. Everything works pretty well in that regard, so if you're looking for a capable desktop VR headset, the Quest 3 is just as good as the other options without the necessity of setting up cameras in your play area. The only real problem I have with the headset is the price. The entry level price of $499 for the lower storage model is notably higher than the price of the Quest 2 and the accessories are almost necessary to get the best experience out of this headset.

Meta quest 3
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Meta Quest 3 is a technological marvel that catapults you into the next dimension of virtual reality immersion. From the moment you don the sleek headset, you're transported to a realm where reality blurs and fantasy becomes tangible. The graphics are so breathtakingly lifelike that you'll swear you can feel the virtual breeze on your skin. The controllers are like extensions of your own hands, responding to your every gesture with precision and fluidity. And the library of games and experiences? It's like a treasure trove of endless entertainment, from heart-pounding adventures to serene escapes. But it's not just about escapism – Meta Quest 3 fosters social connections, allowing you to interact with friends and strangers alike in a virtual space that feels surprisingly intimate. In conclusion, Meta Quest 3 isn't just a gaming device – it's a portal to infinite possibilities, limited only by your imagination.

So far the best VR headset I’ve used
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Meta Quest 3 after previously having the Meta Quest (original). The original unit was very underwhelming and didn’t really do much for me. The Quest 3 is absolutely amazing! It brings the best visuals, great audio, and some of the best games I have experienced on a VR headset. The unit has a bit of a difficult to manage headstrap, which I have since replaced with an aftermarket version, and has made it much better! The battery does last for my typical games sessions (1 hour or 2) and charges pretty quickly! The headstrap I ordered also includes a battery pack which I use when playing games with a group of people and it gives the unit much better battery life. One thing I wish that the Quest would improve on is the darkeness in the eye space. Around my nose and above my lips the unit does not really block visible light perfectly, so I am hoping that will improve with future designs. All in all, if you are looking for an amazing VR headset without the requirement to be tethered to your computer this is the right one for you.

A True VR Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly an improvement on the already fine Quest 2. The Mixed Reality mode alone makes the upgrade worth it. "The Thrill of tje Fight," for instance, not only looks better, but there's something wonderful about boxing in my living room. If you have a gaming PC, the PCVR improvements are noticeable. Highly recommended

Upgraded From Oculus 2 to Oculus 3
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a great substitute for the Apple VR headset and the price is great for the product. The graphics are higher quality than the Oculus 2. The only downfall is tge battery life dies quick. You will also have to buy all new accessories if your upgrading from a Oculus 2 to a Oculus 3.

improves on quest 2 in every way
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous VR experience is with the Quest 2. This improves in every way. The pass through is pretty decent, but highly dependent on lighting. In my opinion it's not something that should drive the purchase of the device. The increased processing power hasn't been fully tapped into yet, but the optics of this unit are worth the price of admission. No more shuffling/adjusting to find the sweet spot..everything is extremely clear with very, very minimal blooming/blurring.

MR is awesome
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mixed Reality is my new favorite way to. play games. It's been awhile since VR has blown me away but Quest 3 has reignited my love for VR (and now MR). To me, Quest 3 is the perfect time to get into VR. Performance is good enough that the graphics look great and MR is really a great way to play without feeling isolated.

EXCELLENT!! VASTLY IMPROVED! WORTH THE BUY
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly the AR pass through camera, sensors and hand tracking are a night and day improvement, passthrough AR could always be a little brighter and crisper, but for $500 i think it’s absolutely worth the buy! Graphically it is definitely and improvement from the quest 2 and can play some PC VR games standalone now. Everything runs much smoother with the new processor as well. The head strap is definitely better, but i still bought the elite strap. Adjusting the lens spacing is %100 better with an external wheel, the field of view still needs improvement, as it is better than the quest 2, you can still see the edges of the lens’ Also there is some light that comes in around the nose, will prob put a small strip of foam there. Overall the Quest 3 is definitely a vast improvement over the Quest 2, I am happy with the upgrade and I just gave my quest 2 to my girlfriend for multiplayer! You can have all your games on both headsets, so a second player can log in with their profile and play your games, except for DLC purchases, like beat saber purchased songs. Most All games are cross compatible as well

Really lives up to the hype - if they'd release mo
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Meta Quest 3 is the most versatile VR headset you can own today. Not only can you run PCVR games using AirLink and Steam but you have the excusive Quest library and it can be standalone if you aren't concerned with the graphical limitations. Huge upgrade from the Quest 2 with AR and color passthrough. I've even noticed that my motion sickness takes much longer to set in with this headset. Must buy for VR enthusiasts and honestly even a great upgrade from Quest 2.

Greatly improved
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great upgrade from the Oculus 2, the whole system seems refreshed and snappy without a whole lot of extra junk or new formats that happen when some new models come out, everything is in the same place but look and feel better. Do you have to upgrade from the Oculus 2 NO but if you do you will b3 impressed and happy you did, especially if you like hand tracking games, the tracking is light years better and the factory head strap is greatly improved so most people wont have to go and buy a pro or upgraded strap since there is far less discomfort with the original this time. 1 more plus is the prescription eyeglass pieces you can install for us who wear them all and all its a great upgrade from the Oculus 2 and far beyond the Oculus go, and the storageincreaseis nice for intense gamers. The only down side is the price increase normally i would say this is way overpriced but since every other electronic has deep price increases ill say its priced decently

VR is coming along nicely
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an OG Oculus Rift, but got rid of it because it just made me sick to use it. The Quest 3 solved a lot of that, but I still can't do superhero flying games. The controls work great and I absolutely love the color pass through video. When I'm feeling weird I'll have it on and put a youtube video window the the left of the stove while cooking. It's very cool. I can wear it for as long as the battery lasts without fatigue.

Outstanding Mixed Reality Experience!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Meta Quest 3 has truly redefined what mixed reality can be. From the moment I unboxed it, the sleek white design and lightweight feel impressed me. The 128GB storage is more than enough to store all my favorite apps, games, and experiences without any hiccups. The visuals are stunning, with crisp graphics and seamless transitions between virtual and augmented reality. The tracking is incredibly accurate, and the controllers feel great in hand. What really sets this apart is the immersive experience—it's as if the boundary between digital and physical has blurred. Setup was straightforward, and the device is intuitive to use. Whether I'm gaming, exploring new worlds, or just enjoying virtual reality, the Meta Quest 3 delivers on every front. If you're looking for a top-notch mixed reality headset, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Glad I waited for the 3 instead of buying the Pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good: Better graphics, better lenses, better tracking, slimmer design, better controllers, charging dock compatible. The Bad: Because it’s slightly heavier, you’ll want to invest in a head strap. You’ll also want to get a face cover as the material used on the 3 can make your face irritated when sweating.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great piece of hardware, finally the IPD is wide enough for my eyes! Battery life is meh but battery packs are pretty affordable so I am okay with sacrificing a few milliamp hours for the decrease in width and weight of the unit. Mixed reality is aight, havent played with it much. Good job meta.

Amazing upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing upgrade compared to the quest 2 way faster, better graphics and because of the use of pancake lens no need to perfectly adjust the headset on your head for the focus point. Its great and i definitely recommend.

The next generation VR headset
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buyer beware; if you have never used a virtual reality headset, words do not currently exist to describe what you will experience during your first session. It’s magical. If you have used older VR headsets, take it from me, I have used the quest 2 all the way down to the original rift. The quest 3 really does take it up a notch. No more fuzzy visuals, blurred text, or ghosting. It’s so sharp, fast, and every game you might have played on an older headset will feel like a whole new game.
