    Best Headset on the Market

Meta Quest 3 is an impressive piece of tech that offers a fantastic virtual reality experience. Its graphics are sharp, and the immersion it provides is truly captivating. However, it's worth noting that the headset does demand a significant amount of light for a clear pass-through feature. In low-light situations, the pass-through can appear a bit grainy. But here's the silver lining – this minor drawback doesn't detract from the overall brilliance of the Meta Quest 3. The headset's strong points far outweigh this limitation. It delivers an expansive library of immersive VR content, and its performance is top-notch. Whether you're gaming, exploring, or working in virtual reality, the Meta Quest 3 is more than up to the task. So, while the lighting requirement for pass-through might be a consideration, it shouldn't deter you from making this great purchase.

Easy to use!!! The VR technogloy has truely evolved. Doesn't make me sick to my stomache after using it. Imersive! Fabulous! Excellent features: cast to TV others in room can see what you are doing and mixed reality! Love this.

Incredible screens. Adjustable IPD and really good sound! The only downside is the Facial Interface and Headstrap SUCKS! I wore this for one hour and my forehead was very read and burning from the sandpaper like facial interface. This forced me to buy the 40 dollar overpriced silicone facial interface. Not cool. They made this decision to make money but in the end it will cost them. They will have to send out free facial interfaces like they did on Quest 2 after the inevitable backlash from the redness and pain caused by it. Disappointing to see this kind of behavior as an early adopter and a shareholder. I hoped they would have learned from that mistake!

My son’s Occulus began to fail just as the warranty was expiring. Unsure what they would offer we went into Best Buy old box and receipt in hand. Amazing Service!! We were offered a brand new occulus to replace the damaged one, OR a full dollar value credit to upgrade to the MetaQuest 3. Need I say more! We replaced a Christmas gift and locked in a deal with birthday credit! Win/Win. He loves the graphics and the ability to see his actual space in real time. (Reduces punching the walls). I think we’ll get the straps as an after gift. One point to note-The hand guards on the old set did have finger saving value. Homework is done with extra care in order to get playtime… So - a good gift- just control the screen time… a kid could lost in there on their quests.!!

This is amazing technology. I've had this headset for over a year now and there is hardly any good games for this. I got bored fast cause no new games or software comes out. There are maybe 3 AAA titles that I own but nothing that keeps me coming back. The quest 3s is currently on sale for 249 and at that price it makes sense. Happy VR'ing. :)

The Quest 3 is a really amazing device. I temporarily decided to purchase and try it out, and the Quest 3 blew me away with the clear resolution and the color mixed reality. One of the fun intro experiences was an augmented reality experience where you fight small alien blobs that come into your room/space. It almost feels real because the color mixed reality really blends into your real world very well. The virtual reality is also good and clear. The resolution looked slightly higher than the Quest 2, and I’m sure that certain games and apps will look and play much better on Quest 3. Quest 3 had a variety of special new features, such as a feature where you can look at 3D spatial videos. Quest 3 will likely have a future of HD virtual reality games and immersive mixed reality experiences. It is not a perfect device. Admittedly, I didn’t find the resolution jump to be massive, so a person may not immediately get the graphics that someone would get on a PSVR2 or a headset connected to a powerful PC. But overall, this is definitely a great device that is worth purchasing if someone is interested in getting into VR!

Initially experienced a dead pixel issue with my first model, but Best Buy was great about exchanging that Quest for another one which hasn't had any issues as far as I can see. Coming from a Rift S, the wireless freedom provided by the Air Link more than justifies the price. My wireless setup seems to be good enough that I don't really experience any quality or latency issues compared to the wired setup. I primarily play H3VR. The passthrough is now in color, but still very low resolution and honestly not very impressive. Don't trust the videos of people cooking with this thing. I'm honestly not even interested in checking out MR except maybe for experimental console emulation. Overall this might not be the future of VR we had in mind, but it's an important next step in terms of wireless freedom, resolution, and software refinement.

I was initially hesitant to upgrade from Oculus 2, I am glad I did. It is noticeably faster, very clear and the interaction is very fluid. I also love the mixed reality so much. I am loving it.

This is a notable upgrade from the Quest 3. Not by leaps and bounds, but its new features make it worth considering. The Quest 2 was still a solid piece of hardware and decided to gift it to a relative. The first thing I noticed was how good the resolution is compared to Quest 2. The AR games are really fun and does a great job scanning and mapping out your surrounds. That may be the biggest improvement aside from faster processing. Quest Link The downside is the strap gets uncomfortable after a while, so a third-party option is more than likely the best move. It's also not very accommodating for wide frame glasses even though it has a spacer adjustment feature built in. Thankfully, there are affordable options for prescription lenses through Meta's partnership with Zenni. Not the biggest fan of Meta as a company, but this is a winner.

I had the Quest 2 for a couple years and loved it. Once I tried the Quest 3 at the store I was hooked and immediately asked for it for Christmas. The quality is so much better than the Quest 2, it's amazing. The pass-through mode is incredible. There isn't much to do with it right now, but I'm sure that will change. I haven't purchased any of the extra items (new strap, battery etc) and am still very content with it. I see me getting those things in the near future so I can use it longer (currently I am able to play a little bit over an hour of Asgards Wrath II before the battery dies, which is ok because standing for over an hour is uncomfortable for my back, anyway). Great device! I can't wait to see what they come up with next for it!

Excellent headset for wireless stand-alone or PC VR. Visuals much improved by the newer lenses and higher resolution panels, and return to the much more granular IPD setting control of the original Quest, compared to the previous iteration. With the improved pass-thru camera fidelity, and the addition of color, it is now possible to see your phone clearly enough to use without removing the headset. A good choice for new and previous generation owners, though would go for the 512GB model if you can afford it. Your will more than likely need to consider the purchase of a good quality replacement head strap for longer use, however.

It is a fun gaming experience however keep in mind the battery life doesn’t last very long and even less when casting to a device for viewing which is the only drawback I dislike. I like that it’s wireless the most! Graphics are overall pretty good!

Picked this up a couple of days ago and this is my first personal ownership of a VR device. The experience so far has been pretty awesome and really manages to transport me into other spaces. The sound is surprisingly good for not being a full set of headphones also. My main gripes are this: The battery life in portable mode leave a lot to be desired and the fact that a premium link cable isn't included for the price irritates me. To be honest I wouldn't have minded paying more for the link cable at the store while I was there but now I have to go back across town because the cable I was informed that it came with doesn't perform up to my wants. Just know if you want to properly play off of your PC you need either Meta's brand-name cable or something that can perform as well. Barring the battery life and my cable experience, though, I have yet to have any other regrets of the purchase. Do recommend.

Really like the wireless experience. Battery life could be better, but usually I’m ready for a break by the time the battery runs low. I was able to move some vacation photos to it and view them with lifelike size. I will say the controls are overall fairly intuitive if you’re tech savvy, but may takes some getting used to if not. Overall, it’s a fun experience and I’m excited to see what will come in the future.

The Quest 3 is a lot of fun. It is a huge upgrade from the Quest 2 even though there are not a lot of games that have been released yet to show how much better it really is. The graphics are clearer, the new boundary setup is much better, and the real passthrough is great. The First Encounters demo is a lot of fun and shows the amazing potential of the mixed reality. My kids love it for that demo alone. My only negatives so far are that it does not come with a silicone face cover like the quest 2 did and, while still better than the quest 2, I find the head strap uncomfortable. I ended up buying a cover and a replacement strap with a dial adjustment for relatively cheap. Overall though, I am extremely happy with the upgrade from the quest 2 even before the games are released to show the full potential of the Quest 3.
