I owned a rift s and this would be a huge upgrade for performance and resolution. The AR is really cool and neat, i can talk to my gf and watch youtube at the same tine. But the headset is still uncomfortable to wear for a long time, so a good 30 min/ day is good enough for me

Upgraded to this from a now retired HP Reverb G2 running on a gaming PC. With a proper dedicated Wifi 6e router (I’m using a TP-Link AXE75) and the Virtual Desktop app, wireless streaming quality is very good and stable. Picture quality seems at least on par with the Reverb G2 even with the compressed image, with the added benefit of much more image clarity off center. And going wireless is a game changer for any PCVR game requiring significant physical movement. The ergonomics of the headset itself aren’t great (default headstrap is garbage) and battery life is mediocre, but at least that can be fixed via third party accessories. Passthrough quality isn’t great either (fuzzy grainy image), although it is a step up from anything that’s come before. Native Meta apps are surprisingly cabable though still a noticable step down visually from the best PCVR can offer. Overall an important step forward for VR.

Genuinely a really great product for first time users and veterans alike. The software gets even better day by day bringing features that the product didn't even come with on release. My only minor complaint is that the headset can be slightly difficult to wear correctly but the comfortablility is not bad once you figure out how to wear it properly.

As far as the headset goes it's a great headset! But, I will say there are some draw backs. Now if you're a Quest 2 user and used the headset for either PCVR or having the headset plugged into a battery pack while playing (or wall). This headset will disappoint you. At best this headset gets maybe 2 hours of battery life. Plugged in and playing will get you MAYBE 4. The problem is the headset charges at a slower rate than what is consumed (unlike the quest 2). As far as that goes, I'm sure it can be some what fixed through updates but as of now if you aren't a fan on that I'd say stick with your quest 2. If you don't mind the battery life and want a new headset GO FOR IT. The visual clarity, controller comfort, tracking, comfort all make up for it.

The mixed reality is fun the graphics are better than the quest 2 and it works better with my glasses

Absolutely amazing. Get quest 3 if you hesitate between quest 2 and 3. It is not too heavy. Fits very well to the head

Absolutely love this, I upgraded from the quest 2 to the quest 3 and the differences are huge, the graphics, weight, and playtime are all just so much better

Experienced this headset while visiting relatives out of state. Couldn't get over on all the games/experiences and reasonable priced offerings. Love the roller-coaster programs that make this 70 year plus, feel like a kid again. Great quality and I purchased the optional headset with the extended battery that lets me play longer.

I don't care what you going to say about VR. VR is extremely entertaining. It does help you learn new things and it does help you exercise when you're too lazy to leave your house, especially with some of the games that they have not. Just beat saber. But this is an amazing buy

Honestly, I'm not a VR fan. I get nauseous if I play for more than 5 minutes. My kids enjoy it and can use it for longer, but they dont use it very much. They enjoy the Nintendo Switch more because they can play together. The item does what it's supposed to do.

My son had the previous model and this one is much more comfortable at the head, the images are much better and the response of the graphics are much more accurate. Amazing!!!

Battery life is a bit short but it great and a big improvement over the 2. Loses tracking during high speed beat saber.

Best gaming purchase I’ve ever made. No regerts. many titles to play with most being less than your average console game. I mostly play poker with friends but there is so much you can do. You’ll never run out of things to entertain yourself with. Definitely get a charging bank or battery pack as the battery life on these are short due to the demands of the system.

My kids are very happy with their new oculus. Awesome graphics, comfortable headset and a whole lot of games to choose from. I highly recommend this system.

This is an incredible upgrade to the Quest 2. The mixed reality is such a welcome addition along with the higher resolution and better processing power. Definitely recommend.

Amazing new features. My husband had the Quest 1 and Quest 2 but after looking at all the new things that you can do with Metaquest 3, it is a whole new world

Extremely happy with the device, i have no trouble so far using it, and its great for anything you want to do, be it playing or watching, is 100% satisfactory.

I’m puzzled because I very much want to give this five stars, however, mine has banter charging issues. In general it appears there’s a problem with the lifespan of the battery, it doesn’t last very long. Otherwise, I love the headset. The clarity is spectacular for an entry level VR headset. The hand gestures without the controllers works but it needs more improvement. You can use Smartcst while playing games. The expense while using the headset was impressive. The first few times I used it, the back of my head hurt but I learned to readjust them or maybe my head got used to them. I recommend buying the sweat band off you plan to do anything with high intensity. Overall. I enjoy the headsets. I just wish the battery life was better. I did need to exchange mine because of the charging issue. I hope the next ones I receive don’t have charging issues.

This is by far the best vr headset we’ve ever owned. The graphics and lightweight feel of the device are a big upgrade from the oculus 2. We have really enjoyed it so far!

Meta Quest 3 is much better than the Quest 2. It’s more comfortable, more powerful, easier to figure out, more pleasant to use for long stretches, and just flat-out better.
