Definitely a step up from quest 2. A lot of little tweaks that make a big difference. Graphics and details are better. My only con like most people here is the battery.

Way better than the Quest 2! Bigger lenses for less "binoculars" feel. Lighter weight and better graphics. Battery life is better, too. Zero complaints.

Its a great device. Picture is so clear compared the the quest 2. The only things wrong with it. Is the battery life. You WILL NEED A BATTERY PACK. Also the USB port is outdated in my opinion. For the price I feel that not having thunderbolt/USB 4 really is a step backwards. Especially if your like me and, wanted a head mounted display for something like your xbox. I know you can stream video from your PC wirelessly but, you have to have a decent computer and, have your console run though your computer. It's a lot of extra steps. Also this headset should have a 2nd USB port specifically detected for charging. Meta wanted their headsets to be the number one all in one headset but, with the USB and, battery limitations. It's not. Also for those who are interested in wireless PC VR. You will need a wifi 6e router to reduce as much lantancy as possible.

The new metaquest is lighter so it feels better wearing it. The seethrough vision is nice so you can get right back into the game without removing the headset.

Bought this day one when it came out and i couldnt be happier with the purchase. Resolution and new pancake lenses make a world of difference for clarity on this headset.

I was excited to try the Quest 3, hoping for a significant improvement over the Quest 2, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. While it does offer some enhancements, like a slightly sharper display and improved performance, the overall experience felt very similar to the Quest 2. The upgrades weren’t enough to justify the higher price, especially considering the Quest 2 already performs well for most VR needs. If you’re coming from a Quest 2, the differences might feel too minor to warrant an upgrade. I ended up returning the Quest 3 and sticking with my Quest 2, which still delivers a great VR experience.

My son and I have had a great time with this VR headset. The graphics are great, the cameras that make it AR are a really fun way to still feel connected with the world, and the controllers are spot on for what is needed. The major downside of this product is the head strap though. After roughly 5 minutes the front of my head (around my eyes) started throbbing and it got very uncomfortable. My son had the same problem as well so it isn't just a size issue. With a replacement strap, we both are back to enjoying it as it should have been designed to be.

This review reflects the Meta 3s performance against pervious version's. The mixed reality feature is a pleasant upgrade that if not for the enhanced visuals would already set it apart from the rest. The only noticeable flaw would be the microphones inability to fade out the popping noise when annunciating words that start with the letter “p”. I wouldn’t consider this anything that should keep it from a must have for VR enthusiasts.

I’m really enjoying my new oculus headset. It is much lighter in weight and the graphics are sharp with vibrant color. Easy to switch with wearing glasses and focus.

The meta quest 3 has been an amazing thing to experience, especially for my family, but somethings that annoyed me were, i sometimes felt a very strong headache but one that would feel like something is crushing my head, also it'd be nice for it to have a little more battery without a headstrap, but overall I loved the Meta Quest 3.

Man this thing is awesome. Totally blew my expectations out of the water. The pass through is so cool. While the actual environment looks a little grainy, the virtual screens are awesome. I've been playing Pistol Whip, Beat Saber and Asgard's Wrath 2. All really fun, but still getting used to moving around VR with an analog stick. My one gripe is the UI is a little janky in menus, Wish there was better explanations on how to navigate the UI.

If you have a quest 2 this is a great upgrade. I got the 128GB version because most of the VR games I play are on the PC so I don't need to download the games on to the headset. If you don't plan on using the 128GB version for PCVR then I would recommend getting the 512GB. I got the Quest 2 at the time when it was $300 because I wasn't sure if I was going to like PCVR and it was the cheapest headset at the time. Over the years nothing new has sparked my interest. So when the Quest 3 came out, I upgraded. Great choice in my book. I'm hoping valve will release a new headset some time soon! Fingers crossed!

Definitely a device that should be around. My kids and i have fun with it. There is more use than just games! Which is awesome!!

Great product way better than meta 2 its a lot lighter and fit a lot better around the eyes

Ive used 3D googles in the past, but this is the most immersive experience Ive ever had. Its a huge improvement over the Oculus 2, which is saying alot

This is the best device that you can purchase for work of for fun the mix reality is amazing, I do sales online and wiht this device I can set up a virtual monitors from my computer and I can process orders while I have a meal at the same time I can have some entertainment like movies or music. The gaming experience is amazing big improvements from meta quest 2 I will recommend to purchase a extra battery strap device if you want to extend your gaming experience. I just love it. Best buy did a Great job delivering my device fast not problem at all.

Made a very last minute decision to purchase this for xmas. Best Buy @ Lewis Center could not have made the process any smoother. Shoppers, traffic, hustle/bustle right before the holiday and I was in/out in minutes. Great product and so real you may not be able to finish the roller coaster ride...I couldn't. Loved the outdoor climbing, hiking, historical sites, and experiencing something I will NEVER do, climbing El Cap ! What a thrill. This would be a great gift for anyone, but most especially for those that don't have the ability/luxury of travel.
