Great for kids
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this device for Christmas, and it is a really great product. Although the product itself is great, it does not keep my attention for long. There aren't a lot of games on it that I find too interesting, but there are games that I think children would probably enjoy more, such as some painting games, among us, gorilla tag, etc. I also must say, for such a significant price increase from the meta quest 2, I don't see much of an actual difference between the two products. Especially considering the battery is exactly the same (it doesn't last long and takes a long time to charge.) All in all it can be fun if this is what you're into, but I dont think it should be worth more than the quest 2

The new standard in everyday tech
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im really impressed with Meta’s ability to actually create a quality device that makes both VR and AR technology available to a wider audience. It quite literally does everything that I bought it for. I wanted to play my SteamVR games, it can do that. I want to use it for its own standalone titles, works perfectly. I want to watch videos and movies on it, you can create your own theater to watch movies and youtube and can even invite friends to watch with you. All in all, $500 is an absolutely amazing deal for what you can get out of it.

More for Adults
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son, but many games are teen or older. It is really cool, but not as fun for 12 and under. It has some really cool tech though, it is fast and responsive. Games are well done and I could see being able to play for hours fully immersed. Battery life could be better, seems to be about an hour of gameplay.

Wonderful past time
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because it was the cheaper between the Apple Vision Pro. Plus, I can get better familiar with VR without feeling I spent a lot for something I do not frequently use. I love it. The amount of social apps are great however, there will be a time the amount of traffic flow will lessen through time. I hope Meta comes out with something new to keep the gamers interested.

Amazing product
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not a big gaming person, but this product has amazed me. I’m new to VR headsets, the 2D videos of those games cannot justify the real experience that you will have in Quest 3. If you are a table tennis fan/player then don’t miss to buy Eleven Table Tennis game, it gives close to real experience. Mixed reality is an added advantage. Cricket fans/players check out ibCricket. You may need to consider buying some third party head strap as the one included in this bundle may not be comfortable for long hours of usage.

Great fun if you don’t get motion sick easily
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this headset a lot! The reason why I returned it was because it would get motion sick after some time and some games would almost get me to vomit. However it is really fun and felt very real at times. I loved that some games worked really well with the hand tracking! I loved that feature! One thing that I don’t like was the expensive game store. The meta store is the only place to buy a game and I found the prices to be high. I am all about supporting the developers but there is no competition to entice cheaper prices or even sales. I did find much success connecting it to my pc with a long cable so I can play my pc games in vr.

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its pretty good. Pass through is whats been misinf from vr headsets. Definitely the next step in the vr world. Not 5 stars due battery dying so dast but easily fixed with a separate purchase with a battery bank.

Great mixed reality device for a great price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Oculus rift mostly for Boxing and exercising. I was told by a friend that this was a major upgrade and sure enough it was. The AR is awesome with this headset and you can actually multitask . The VR experience was definitely better without the cables. The only con I have is the battery life, but you can easily by wearable battery packs that pack on two to four more hours of use. Overall get product for novice or experienced VR and mixed reality users.

Battery life... really?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PianoVision is 4 stars. Battery life is 2. Other games seem very interesting, but we are focusing on the PianoVision. That is definitely worth it. Other games are amazing, but the options are few. Possibly worth the money. I purchased the 128 gb version and the free game would take up nearly 40 gb. So, 3 stars for costing so much and providing so little in battery and storage.

Pretty good upgrade.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mainly use this for Steam since the Valve Index is expensive. My biggest gripe with the Quest 3 is the fact that if you want a good experience it, you need to buy the head straps if you want a more comfortable experience. Don't forget about the $80 cable if you want to play on PC without any latency issues. Will say though, the mixed reality is pretty fun. The free game that you can download is pretty fun too. Reminds me of the free Face Raider game on the Nintendo 3DS. If you're on the fence about getting this, grab it on sale or wait for a bundle for a vr game you like or interested in, sort of how when the Quest 2 came out, Beat Saber and Resident Evil 4 were bundled for free. Obviously for a limited time. If you want to try it out, maybe get it pre-owned quest 2 or 3 and see if you like it or not.

Love everything about it. But super uncomfortable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love everything about it. Only problem, it's really uncomfortable. The Rift-s had a way better head strap that had support at your forehead and back of your head. How can they possibly think cheaping out on a head strap is going to help. Honestly doesn't look like the elite strap is any better. Better off getting something off Amazon. Also the face fabric is horrible and rubs your face and leaves it feeling irritated and raw. Better off getting a silicone face cushion.

AR VR at its finest

Currently the best
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used every Quest, the valve index, and every Vive. The Meta Quest 3 is the best headset currently on the market. The pancake lens make for a clear display, finally free of the screen door effect. Increased fov compared to last gen, better pass-through which makes for some fun mixed reality experiences (just avoid using pass-through in darker environments). And the best part is that like all Quests this is a complete standalone headset. The difference is that with Quest 3 that no longer is a trade-off for quality. I still think $499 is a good price even though it's much more expensive than Quest 2, as with PC headsets you have to pair it with an expensive PC compared to this incredible standalone experience. One star deducted for the default head strap being uncomfortable after a while.
