And the ability to handle larger models in standalone mode, makes standalone actually practical for modeling. And for games that support XR like Eleven Table Tennis, Miracle Pool and OhShape, color passthrough ensures that you’re not going to accidentally smack a wall or collide with furniture.

Amazing VR headset

They love it and I’m amazed how fun it is. Only complaint is the 2-3 battery life and the head piece but both were resolved with new one with a battery pack. Wish for $500 they would provide a better head band. Still amazing and definitely recommend getting one. So many different ways to use it.

While the Quest 3 does continue this capability while improving on the graphics and performance, I would argue that the Quest 3’s real use case is in spatial computing. With the addition of color pass-through cameras, people are finally able to experience the joy of spatial computing at a sub -$1,000 price point. Once you try it and realize all the possibilities that spatial computing enables, you will understand why companies like Meta and Apple are investing so much in it. The future of computing starts now.

This is our first vr, so I can’t compare it to previous models, but the graphics and games are awesome for sure. My 16yr old stepson has the original oculus and oculus 2 at his mom’s, and he says this quest 3 has way better graphics. My only complaint is sometimes the menu screen is not straight in front of you when you first put it on. It appears on the ceiling, and we have to restart the device once or twice. For the price, you’d think it wouldn’t be such an issue, but it is still a minor issue. Overall, my 10yr old and teens love it.

I buy a lot!!! Everything about technology specially high end products is here... so trust me, this is an absurd product, an insane one, it will change your life about entertainment, it's better than my laser projector and my big OLED TV to watch movies, better than my PS5. It's the product. Trust me.
