The Quest 3 is a really great VR if you do not have a VR set. It's amazing as a first entry VR set for beginners and even for a more experienced VR user. All the features of the augmented reality were a huge step up from having just the virtual realty on the Quest 2. The images were sharper and more clear/clean, which made it great for longer use times as it doesn't cause as much eye strain or fatigue. However, for me it wasn't as big of a jump from the Quest 2 than I had hoped. For what I use it for it seems everything is decent enough on the Quest 2 that I cannot justify the purchase of the Quest 3. I still do think it's worth it if you do not have a Quest 2 already or if AR is your primary focus. Maybe this will change with updates. I was hoping for a bigger gap from the Quest 2 to the Quest 3. Which speaks volumes for the Quest VR's as a whole.

Battery life went down from quest 2 to quest 3 but it looks so much better having shadows and a slightly higher resolution doisplay makes this headset feel lke a steal for 540$ hooked ip to the pc same settings as quest 2 just the display res slightly higher you can read lettering through scopes gpu im using is 6650xt xfx speedster with i5 11th gen (not APU)

Just buy it already, I’ve had this for over a year now and it’s honestly only gotten better with updates. I’ve had about 3 VR headset including PC setups like the HTC Vive and this thing blows it out of the water. Perfect for the kids or just chilling and watching movies. VR is where the future is headed.

Its wild. Ive never used a real VR headset. Just the one's you plug your phone into. This one is crazy. To be able to see the person standing next to me in real life and an alien space ship land on their shoulder is amazing. I also watched a roller coaster video and it looks like you are really there from the ride to the trees. Highly recommend.

Upgrade from the quest 2 and its awesome, faster, better resolution, loved it. didnt keep it becasue upgrade it for more storage though, just in case

This replaced my old Quest 2. The lenses/screen and snappiness are the most noticeable changes and man are they noticeable. Specifically, the screen door effect is completely gone. Everything on the lenses are much clearer nor does it get blurry when something isn’t the main focus. Overall a great VR headset. Wish the elite strap was the default strap for a $500 device.

Improved visuals from Quest 2. Pass through feature is very useful now and probably the most noticeable upgrade from the Quest 2. The controllers are improved as well. I haven't spent a lot of time playing yet, but so far I'm happy with the purchase. It's a significant price jump, but there are numerous improvements. For me the visual upgrades with worth the additional costs.

This is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever purchased in my life. I bought it for my daughter for Christmas and we love our VR time! The graphics and games are unbelievable. We really feel like we’re somewhere else when we put this headset on. The audio is clear and loud enough to really immerse yourself into the Meta world! We love it!

Overall this unit is great. However I see it advertised as plug and play standalone. My unit came with nothing showing in the store or anything else loaded. I have to use a cable and quest link for files on my PC or quest store. Head band is not as comfortable as it appears. Minor inconvienences. I The headset itself is a marvel of technology as it does what most others don't do, and does it well. Probably rate it 5 stars once I'm amble to put it through it's paces once I get programs installed for stand alone.

My kids love this game, they are always being entertained and having a blast with their friends. When you put the headset on it makes you feel like you are in a different world but this feels and looks so real. The sounds and graphic are the best! Not only do the kids have a great time but when the adults get to play they have a blast in this new world!

super fun love it so much it was a present for a young adult but we played with it !! so much fun!!
