Was unsure of the Q3 when it was announced, but man it is a game changer once you put it on. The software still hasn’t caught up but the hardware is no longer a gimmick- MR has crazy potential. Pleased I bought it at Best Buy, they made it simple. Only downside really is price and storags (64gb model). I’d really have liked a 128gb launch variant.

Graphics are much improved from the quest 2. Machine also seems lighter.

When it comes to VR experience this system is absolutely perfect. Comfortable strap around your head Holds headset in place. controllers easy to grasp and use. Sound clarity is good. Visual experience is amazing with being able to experience reality and VR at the same time. Games are super fun and browse internet and watch movies with clarity thru headset.

If you're into mobile VR this is definitely an upgrade from the Quest 2. The pass through cameras and the new reduced weight are the largest improvements. The AR invaders game designed to show off the AR system is surprisingly entertaining. I wish the strap mounts would have been compatible with the last quest, which would have increased the value, but you'll have to buy all new accessories.

Much better resolution that the 2. Don’t get headaches with this one.

Love this. Visually I can tell the improvement from the quest 2. I use this every single day, even if just to watch movies on Big Screen. If you have never tried the the Quest 2 and don’t really care about augmented reality, then I might get the quest 2 to save some cash. But if you have already used the Quest 2 and are ready to see what else is possible then definitely go for this.

Was using a Quest 2 for the last couple of years. Was a good headset, but still felt like a product that would benefit from further maturation of the VR headset space. The Quest 3 feels like what is truly a consumer experience without any of the beta testing feel of its predecessor. The Quest 3 is a great consumer grade VR headset that does everything it needs to.

This is a fun product. It doesn't hold many games though, especially if you like bigger games. Mine didn't come with the Batman game, even though it was supposed to. That was disappointing. I've since upgraded to the 512GB model. I recommend the Quest. It's lots of fun.

Worth the hype. The reviews about lens quality and pass-thru are not overstated.

Better than the Quest 2 in every way. Faster, clearer, and easier on the eyes.

This is the first VR headset that I've used since the original Oculus back in 2015. Stuff has really come a long way! I bought the unit in order to try out the virtual monitor functionality, which works pretty well, but still doesn't quite have the resolution to not make my eyes hurt after looking at it for awhile. My favorite part of the unit is the mixed-reality gaming. It's really impressive, though I'm not sure if there's yet enough MR content available to be the selling point for this device. Overall, I'm impressed and am looking forward to the future of VR and MR.

Great headset, pass through works nicely and it fits comfortably

I immediately noticed two HUGE improvements coming from Quest 2 to 3. The first thing is how much of a difference the full color pass through makes. I feel far less disconnected from the "real" world while I'm using the device. The second thing is how much more comfortable it is if you're wearing glasses. Both of these improvements are more than worth the cost of upgrading for me.

Just buy it already, I’ve had this for over a year now and it’s honestly only gotten better with updates. I’ve had about 3 VR headset including PC setups like the HTC Vive and this thing blows it out of the water. Perfect for the kids or just chilling and watching movies. VR is where the future is headed.

Overall this unit is great. However I see it advertised as plug and play standalone. My unit came with nothing showing in the store or anything else loaded. I have to use a cable and quest link for files on my PC or quest store. Head band is not as comfortable as it appears. Minor inconvienences. I The headset itself is a marvel of technology as it does what most others don't do, and does it well. Probably rate it 5 stars once I'm amble to put it through it's paces once I get programs installed for stand alone.

Great VR experience. My son has both the Quest 2 and the Quest 3x the Quest 3 is much lighter and smaller. It is hands down an upgrade from the Quest 2! If your kid is into VR I highly recommend.
