From a VRChatter point of view
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's good for a standalone headset and is simple to understand how it works. My only issue was the shortcuts in the UI's since certain features should be more upfront and easy to access but that's because I prefer to use the cable and connect with PC for better performance. Only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is for some small nitpicks holding it back like the software locking up when under a heavy load and the default head strap. Nice and good for someone on a budget in the VR headset world

Best Bang for the Buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a CV1, Rift S, Q1, Q2, and now the Q3. This is by far the best headset I've owned. The only reason I didn't give 5, is the fact that I'm not a fan of the elastic head strap. Budget friendly replacement options are plentiful. The sound quality is better than all but the CV1. Optics are phenominal. You really have to try to notice any screen door and the god rays are improved. I went cheap and got the 128gb mainly due to the fact I primarily us Virtual Desktop with my PC.

It’s good
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far not leaps and bounds above the quest 2. It’s good but not great. The true verdict is yet to be determined considering the first killer app for it has just come out. With that said, there needs to be far more. It only lasts about 2 hours and takes 2 1/2 hours to fully charge which is a huge minus. You would think they would have improved this from the quest 2. Mixed reality is really cool but so far only a gimmick. Time will tell if it makes a break through reality. Pun intended. I also feel it is overpriced by about $150-$200.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Quest 3 has major comfort issues. The nose area is poorly designed, causing constant fogging, and the strap squeezes your head painfully. For $700, it feels like a money grab to have to spend more on accessories just to make it playable, especially because they released the same accessories at launch. The graphics aren’t much better than the Quest 2, and the pass-through mode is a low 480p, making it almost unusable. Overall, very disappointed with the product.

Quest 3- user
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only complaint is the memory and battery. The battery doesn't last long but better than its previous version, especially the graphics.

First experience with VR
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had never tried VR in the past - I just wasn't interested. When walking around Bestbuy I saw the Quest 3 and decided to give it a try. I am really amazed with the technology, while maybe the resolution is not yet perfect - it works well enough in all applications. I really have no complaints, if you are interested I suggest giving it a try.

Best VR headset yet
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big improvement over the Quest 2. Same great focal length and ease of adjustment. Would highly recommend. Tried a HTC Vive Pro 2 and it just couldn’t compare with a very challenging focal length and a number of other challenges. The base head strap could be improved upon but there are plenty of options for that.

Defo upgrade over Quest 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely an upgrade from the quest 2. Resolution feels better and it has a smoother POV. The see through function is very nice. Seems seamless I was washing dishes and watching youtube in the freespace while still being able to see all outside environment. Pricing wise I think its a little on the pricier side but theres no competition currently for what it can do.

Best VR headset under $1000
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The increase in resolution and the pass-through ability are great for gaming and watching videos. For the price, the Quest 3 is a good product. Not all of us can afford or need a $3500 Apple vr headset. This one is good enough. And the hand tracking is really good with good lighting making the controllers optional for non-gaming activities. One downside is the included head strap feels cheap and you'll need to pony up another $70 for the more comfortable strap or $130 for the strap + battery. It also does not come with a carrying case, which is another $60.

Unbeatable Portability
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use this daily for BeatSaber. It's been several years and still going strong. Lenses are super clear, no blurriness. Portability is a huge factor for me. I can take this anywhere and works perfectly. No cables, no external PC needed. Just works.

Stepping into VR
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think for the price, this is a great piece. We have two now and its fun for the whole family. Battery life is short, but that is probably a good thing because it would be easy to spend hours in game on the Quest. You can also plug it in or get a battery pack to keep it charged. A great first step into the VR world.

Great VR, Flawed Wireless PC Play
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Quest 3 impresses with its immersive display and comfortable design, ideal for standalone VR. However, it stumbles in wireless PC connectivity. I experienced noticeable latency when playing PC games without a cable, detracting from the experience. Adjusting settings and optimizing Wi-Fi didn't resolve these issues. While excellent for standalone use, those seeking flawless wireless PC gaming might face challenges. This aspect, especially given the investment, could be a significant drawback for some users.

Quest 3 review
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good, I bought it for productivity apps. However, I wear glasses and without using glasses the text was slightly blurry. I was able to wear my glasses and use the VR headset at the same time and the text was much better. Compared to a desk monitor the text was still not as clear. I think it's a great deal for $500 compared to other VR products. In time as the headset becomes smaller and has better resolution and latency, I do think VR will become the de facto product for monitors/monitor replacement.
