Thanks for taking the time to give us your thought on the Meta - Quest 3. If you'd like more battery life you can look into our Elite Strap with Battery, it's great for those who want the extended gaming session.
It will also assist with any comfort issues you may be having, but for no you should loosen the strap a little to ensure you don't put pressure on you face.

I use it for the fit VR app and it is really great. I never used a VR product before so I cannot compare it to others however it was very recommended to me from a co-worker who is an avid gamer. I also use it to watch movies which is really amazing that it gives you a live theater experience if you have never used VR before. I like it for my 12-year-old son because it keeps him moving so it is better than most of the gaming systems out there. The games are still being developed but I know that the Batman game that came with it is really good.

I was hesitant when I purchased it because I thought it wasn’t for adults but there are so many great programs! I use it for exercise every morning, travel to places I’ll probably never visit, and just enjoying some of the relaxing and stimulating programs I downloaded! One thing though… buy a more comfortable head strap…

Ended up getting a 3rd party battery headset for extended life. Creating a "family" and supervising the memberst via Meta is a bit of a pain as well. Hopefully improvements will come in that area of things.

Quality item but software needs improvement

After just a short time with the device, I’ve encountered two significant problems that make it nearly unusable. The first issue is a black screen that appears right after selecting my user profile. The headset powers on fine, I can navigate to profile selection, but then everything goes dark. I’ve tried restarting multiple times, checking for software updates, and cleaning the lenses, but the problem persists. It’s incredibly annoying to go through the startup process only to be met with a black screen when I’m ready to actually use the device. The second problem involves the proximity sensor, which seems to be malfunctioning. The headset doesn’t consistently detect when I’m wearing it, causing the display to turn off randomly or not turn on at all when I put it on. I’ve cleaned the sensor area thoroughly and adjusted how I wear the headset, but nothing seems to fix it reliably. For a premium VR headset at this price point, these kinds of fundamental issues are unacceptable. I shouldn’t have to troubleshoot basic functionality just to use the product.
