When i tried his, i was so blown away that i purchased this 3 512g version for myself! I also added the Quest+ membership (monthly free games). This has so many uses that make the cost justified. From games to movies, this is hands down my best "console" purchase. I love that im not restricted to certain room like my PS.Typical battery is about 2hrs, which is good but i added a headstrap battery to double that cause times flies when im using this! Overall, this is well worth it.

Battery lasts about an hour to an hour and a half when using steam link over wifi (not an issue for me). Comfortable to wear for extended periods and overall a lot of fun. Would highly recommend getting a separate 10-16ft usb-c cable to charge while gaming.

Great headset

Having the 512 GB is really handy to be able to install games without worrying about storage. The only negative thing I have to say about this is that if you wear glasses, it's hard to fit them in while not scratching the glass inside. I bought a 3rd-party glasses fitter and they work great, no scratches and looks amazing.

The Meta Quest 3 does a phenomenal job of mapping the space you are in to keep you safe, and works well with the adjustable space if you wear glasses

This is the first VR headset I've ever owned, so I don't have much to compare it with, but from my use and what I've seen on YouTube this is basically the best bang for your buck as of March 2024. I've been hesitant to get into VR for years and now I'm glad I waited.

I'm prone to VR motion sickness and have had issues with other types. I think the pancake lenses really help. Also, the built in adjustment for glasses is a game changer when sharing the headset with non glasses folks. The MR in color is also such a help. Overall this device is fantastic for me.
