Ill start by saying I was skeptical that I would like VR. I have a pretty high standard for graphics and games, and want sure that the Quest 3 could provide a decent experience. BOY, WAS I WRONG! The Quest 3 provides an amazing experience. You are really in the action, and you move around way more than I expected. I've tried several games, mostly first person shooters, and they can really get your blood pumping. You forget you're playing a game and really get the feeling that you're there, being shot at. I've also dabbled with casino/poker games. The games are great, sometimes the people you're playing with aren't. Be ready for a bunch of kids that know nothing about poker. I recently subscribed, yes its a subscription, to Supernatural. It's a work out app. I thought, I'll do the free 7 day trial and see that this isn't going to do anything. Again, wrong. This app kicks your butt and you are sweating buckets by the end. If you get the Quest 3, you won't be disappointed. Definitely get an aftermarket head strap because the one it comes with is garbage. I also picked up controller covers with straps, another must. Waiting on an aftermarket face cover thing that is easier to wash/clean as the workouts are soaking the one it comes with. Overall, very impressed and see myself using this device quite a lot.

Many accessories and upgrades (carrying case, pro headband, etc) are WAY more expensive than they should be from the Meta store. Just find their equivalents and you’ll get a good product for cheaper. I also think it’s ridiculous that you need to spend $150 extra to double the storage space. $500 is already a lot, and only getting 512 GB out of that is annoying, especially when there’s no external hard drive. So keep that in mind - you can not add more storage via an SD card. That being said, this thing is incredible. It's significantly lighter and less awkward than Quest 2. The quality is also better, and I like the direction they went with the fine-tuning. The controllers don’t have the plastic halo anymore, which makes them less clunky, and I appreciate that. The battery life is ~3 hours for me, depending on the type of games you’re playing, Th Overall, I love this thing and am happy I got it. TLDR: It is an excellent console with overpriced accessories, and it is worth investing in a better cord. 100% enjoyable for the whole family. I highly recommend in comparison to Quest 2 (it works well as a cheaper option, but you’ll get more fatigued quicker on the old one, and it takes longer to charge).

Over all the best vr that you dont need a computer to run on. The graphics are way better that the 3s. It runs smooth for the most part but if u try to download to menny game while playing it will crash. Ive also had problems with it not loading up games property and had to reset it. Its also way mor comfortable stock than the 3s. its way more compact and fits nicely however id still recommend you buy a 3ed party strap and external battry pack because the quest brand one is not comfortable and it only gives you like a hour extra play time. Overall if u have the money its way better that the 3s and if u have rhe money to spend on it youll love it

Best vr solution on the market. That doesnt mean there arent flaws. You have to set it up with a Facebook account, which creates all kinds of problems for littles playing. Also, maybe you dont want meta jamming their social solutions down your throat. This also means youre tethered to their marketplace. Expect to need to buy the alternate headstrap. The factory solution is really hard to get set up, and tends to be uncomfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes. For most folks, its going to really impact your impression negatively. Just plan to upgrade the strap, and you wont be disappointed if the out of the box setup isnt to your liking. Finally, the battery kind of sucks. 1-2 hours is the real world max for this thing, and it doesnt charge quickly. So, youre really left using vr in short bursts or plugging in (which defeats the whole purpose of the quest). That all makes it sound like the device is not very good. If one of these things is a deal breaker for you, then its not a good solution for you. Its certainly a less well rounded offering than the original quest or the quest 2. Most of the problems like battery and headset can be mitigated or eliminated with an extra addon purchase. So, that makes some of the issues a bit more serviceable. That said, the actual device is Excellent. I upgraded from a Quest, but ive also used the Quest 2. The realism and processing power of this thing is seriously impressive. There's also options for folks who have glasses to make sure there is clearance between your lenses and the quest's. The AR stuff is in its infancy, but what is there is really cool. All in all, the software and hardware teams for the Q3 should do a victory lap. The folks in charge of ergonomics and overall utilization experience, should look to the devices predecessors for inspiration. Still, its a really good device, and it feels like a solid step in the right direction for vr.

I bought the meta quest 3 this year because I’m too broke for an Apple Vision Pro and honestly I’m impressed. All in all I give this an 8.3/10 Pros: -solid graphics -good tracking -mixed reality is really cool -many other small things Cons: -can get hot on the face -I personally feel some eye strain after a while -still pricey for the capabilities currently -battery isn’t great

While I’ve upgraded from the quest 2 I’ve enjoyed, and had a much better experience with this headset than its older counterpart. While the battery runs out quicker the visuals and higher definition is definitely worth it! Slap a portable battery on it and you’re ready to take on a new adventure! Id say its well worth its price (especially the weight difference, does wonders to my neck)

I had a great experience picking up my Meta Quest 3 at Best Buy. The store pickup process was quick and seamless—everything was ready when I arrived, and I was in and out without any hassle. The Quest 3 itself has been fantastic. The variety of games and experiences available is impressive, and the improved graphics and performance really stand out. Whether it’s immersive games or casual experiences, it’s been a lot of fun to explore. I also really appreciated Best Buy’s price-matching policy. They matched a lower price without any issues, which made the purchase feel even better. Overall, an excellent buying experience combined with an amazing product. Highly recommend both the Quest 3 and Best Buy for VR purchases.

If you have a Quest 2 and are on the fence about whether or not to upgrade to a Quest 3, I'd say take the plunge. I rarely used my Quest 2 after getting over the initial honeymoon phase, and I mostly blame that on the low quality visual experience. Quest 3 has a better field of view, a higher resolution, and a pass-through option that isn't completely useless. I can actually read text now without it being a blurry mess. My main gripe is the terrible head strap that it comes with, as longer sessions become an exercise in masochism. I'd really recommend buying a third party head strap--one that has batteries preferred.

The Meta Quest 3 512GB has been a game-changer for me. It’s super easy to set up, and the visuals are incredible—everything looks sharp and smooth. Batman: Arkham Shadow was a huge win, letting me step into Gotham and feel like the hero. It’s immersive and just plain fun. The headset is lightweight and comfortable enough for longer sessions, though I’d suggest upgrading the strap for a better fit. The 512GB storage is great—I don’t have to worry about running out of space, even with multiple games and apps. As a parent, I love that it’s standalone—no extra PC or console needed—and it’s versatile enough for the whole family to enjoy. It’s not cheap, but for the quality and experience, it’s absolutely worth it.

An Amazing item not did not realize that until I used a friend one then decided to buy one for my son and myself to use in our spare time.

I really enjoy the quest 3, it has a lot of games to choose from and ot is very interactive. The setup on this is very easy and the eye tracking is an awesome feature to use. During gameplay the battery does not last that long. I would hoghly recommend getting a longer charger or battery packs. The strap and face should be exhanged as with time during gameplay you will feel discomfort from both. Overall compared to the quest 2 I really enjoy this model and it looks significantly better than previous models.

The Qeuest 3 is a lightweight, high resolution, standalone VR headset with a wide variety of games/apps for solo or social activities. It is easy to set up and get started with helpful tutorials for the VR beginner. The included fabric headstrap is a little flimsy, so serious users will probably want to find a more advanced strap for better fit, comfort, and functionality.

Amazing device, I would say you do need to invest in a battery pack and head strap as the device will die out in about 1.5/2hrs on its own. And the strap is not so comfortable. Other than that this device has provided me with so much entertainment from movies to games to work outs!

Fantastic item, definitely a great upgrade from the oculus 2. Would recommend for anyone who wants a quality vr experience. I would recommend the comfort strap / battery pack combo tho.

Compared to the previous model, this was without a doubt an upgrade, very comfortable to use, excellent graphics compared to model 2, battery is a little less efficient, but the speed, graphic quality and comfort make up for it without a doubt. Very satisfied.

Definitely worth the upgrade if you love playing the quest 2. I am blown away by how incredible everything looks and how fun it is to play games in mixed reality. Also, I always had a little trouble with being able to see clearly if the quest 2 didn't sit in exactly one certain position but that is completely gone in the quest 3. It is so much more comfortable and I can see so much more clearly no matter how I adjust it on my face. I even bought prescription lenses ahead of time because I didn't want to have the same issue and now that I am using the 3 I can see clearly even without adding the rx lenses I bought. I also underestimated how enjoyable mixed reality would be. This alone makes the upgrade worth it. I bought a halo strap and this in addition to it seeming like I have a wider field of view, and it being more comfortable, makes it easy to play for hours without getting a headache or feeling dizzy. If you have never owned a VR headset or played one this is the one you need to buy and if you have the quest 2 you won't regret upgrading!

A terrific device that has ton to do and will keep you entertained for hours on end. I’m extremely impressed with the visuals, and the hardware compliments it. You can enjoy movies and shows, as if you are sitting in a movie theater. I have to remind myself that I’m at home with a headset on. The battery life isn’t the best but that is easily addressed with a different head strap that takes external batteries. The support for this system is already in place with tons of games in the Meta Horizon store. Batman, Iron Man, Walk About Golf…I’m thoroughly enjoying what I thought we were still years away from. Get one, you will not be disappointed.
