a good VR headset better than the quest 2 in a few ways. better graphics on a few games and fits better on the face and a bit smaller. the batter is as bad as the quest 2 it last for about 2 hours or less depending on the game but can be fixed with a battery strap.

I had a Quest 1 and upgraded to the Quest 3. I have to say I am SO glad I did (worth every penny). I would recommend getting the 512 GB model so you don't run out of space. I am most impressed with, the stunning quality of the pancake lenses and visuals, the augmented reality, the very clear passthrough camera, and the controllers have fantastic accuracy (great tracking, weight, and feel), and the built-in speakers are amazing. The items that most need improvement on are, environment/room scanning, which seems to need to be redone a lot and you still have to draw boxes around furniture, the mic is very low quality, batter life is less than 2 hours, the head strap is not very comfortable and hard to adjust, the glasses depth adjustment is a bit tricky to figure out, accessories like elite head strap with battery and charging station are about twice as expensive as they should be. Also, as with its predecessors, you cannot cast it directly to a TV you have only the option to cast it to your cell phone and then use that to cast it to your TV. The latency is so bad that the sound and video are a good 1 to 2 seconds behind. I would have expected Meta to figure this out by now.

For the price, you can't get better vr hardware. However, the software for the quest 3 has a lot of issues. You have to jump around weird hoops to do basic things, and there are bugs everywhere. I personally use the headset mainly for PCVR and there are lots of issues with getting that to work well, even with a link cable. But once you find the correct setup, it works great. I do wish there was someway to connect to the headset directly with a display port/USBC cable, instead of having to stream it through a cable.

I love this headset. I use it alot. I even wear it while im doing chores around the house. Watching videos and doing the dishes is a game changer

I love my Quest 3. I upgraded from the 2 and am happy I did. I feel like it's lighter and more responsive. The mixed reality games are fantastic. I use it mostly for exercising with Supernatural. If you can't afford the 3 get the 2. Supernatural is an extra $10 a month but better than a gym membership.

So far this has been the best VR headset for a standalone product that I have used. I have many VR headsets of several varieties and for the overall value, this has been a solid choice. I have been able to enjoy the pass through more than the previous two Quest products, and the pass through gaming is pretty good from where we started. I can see this getting clearer as processing and product quality improves over time, but so far it's been an enjoyable experience. It also works wired or wireless to PC with little to no issues, so long as you have Wi-Fi 6 or above, and/or have decent USB ports that you can reach well enough to preserve a connection to a PC. My only regret on VR is that more people aren't taking the leap and enjoying the new things that VR has to offer. Motion sickness is a temporary experience you overcome by gradual use in increased increments, so if you have a fear of that, don't let it stop you, just work your way into it gradually.

This is a very good headset. I was very pleased at the software and hardware improvements over the Rift which was my last headset. Very clear visuals with a solid number of games and apps. The room boundary feature is super helpful to jump into games quickly. I still will get dizzy and sick from games with motion. Not sure if that will ever be solved for me. It does not even take much motion for me unfortunately.

Got this for Christmas. I had no idea how cool this would be. Right now I can go fishing or play golf eventhough it's snowing outside.

[Employee of bestbuy] Perfect console for trips and every day play. Having bought it and already having to travel out of state with it, its worked perfectly the whole way through. The augmented reality is incredible and the hand tracking, while a little finicky, are also still amazing and fun to use which helps a ton with the immersion. Only people I wouldn't recommend it to are people who get motion sickness easily such as myself, even though I'd still urge them to try it. (If I can do it, so can you, trust me). One other thing I will add is that the head straps are 10x more comfortable then the previous ones.

We purchased this for the whole family and have had so much fun playing.

Husband loves it - he can browse the web, watch videos and connect Steam for VR games. Strap that comes with the it is not the most comfortable, but we upgraded to an aftermarket strap with battery, and this makes it much more comfortable and added an additional 2-3 hrs on battery life. The whole family has really enjoyed playing games, watching TV, movies, videos on the Meta Quest.

They perfected it, much better than the previous, it is worth by far... bigger games are coming out and here is where the 512 Gb come into action, besides mixed reality, it changes everything, you will not regret, another new world that makes it more exciting... I recommend it widely.

I've been using the Quest 3 since last Dec, and it remains my favorite way to game. It's make flat-gaming almost undesirable although I DID buy Battlefield 6 just yesterday! Half-Life Alyx is the single best game for the Quest 3. I highly recommend it along w/the Quest 3 for the ultimate gaming experience. The controllers work well, battery life is excellent on the unit and controllers, and I would also recommend that you add an optional additional battery that connects into the headstrap. That will provide you with multiple hours of gaming. Yesterday, I also watch live NFL football on Amazon Prime via the Quest 3. It was like watching on a 100" TV. Very cool. Lie in bed and watch TV/Movies. Can't go wrong. Get it now! ;). PS: Go for the extra storage. I didn't and find myself uninstalling games because I run out of storage. It's worth it.
