I have been using the Oculus Quest and HTC Vive for years and had been holding off playing Half Life: Alyx until I got the Valve Index. Well I started playing it on the Quest anyway and realized a few things. External tracking isn't great because of the blind spots and extra cables. Visually, the pixels too visible, the screen likes to fog, and I had eye strain. So I decided to upgrade. I discovered that the Quest 3 has better resolution than the Index, pancake lenses, and lighter in weight. And the additional benefits such as AR, stand-alone VR, PCVR, and some things you can even do without even using the controllers with hand tracking. Also, the visual quality is great, and I don't get eye strain at all! It will fog but not as quickly or to thebsame extent as the original Quest. I do prefer to PCVR with a cable even though it's not mandatory. There's some room for improvement of course. Hand tracking would be nice if it extended into more apps. PCVR should be able to activate both wireless and wired automatically-currently you have to manually change the settings-if you enable wired it disables wireless and vice versa. There is an issue when using SteamVR where an alert says you don't have enough vram but it always plays just fine. Users online haven't found a solution to this yet. Overall I think it's a great headset. The tracking is flawless. The price is competitive. And even though I don't really like Meta this was the best choice for me.

I am very impressed with this iteration. Color mixed reality mode is very cool, the hand tracking and space mapping are hugely improved, and 512gb means I have plenty of space for everything. The fit and comfort are pretty good, but the elite strap makes a big difference. The only major downside is the battery life is abysmal. Even with brightness turned all the way down, this thing chews through its battery like nobody’s business. I recommend getting the elite strap with extra battery if you, like me, want to spend hours at a time playing.

This is awesome! The 3d movies are so real! The virtual reality is something so real, you can visit places that trick your mind! So real. I watched movies better than the real cinema specially the 3d movies. The games looks so real in virtual reality that you’re get amazed! The only downside is the battery last about less than 2 hours, but the good news is you can connect the charging cable and keep using the device. Awesome vr , RECOMMENDED. IT WORTH THE MONEY.

Awesome kids and I love it so many games to play large live communities you can talk to people live amazing experiences Down side is that the battery don’t last long maybe 1 or 2 hours depending on the use the controller use normal AA batteries so I suggest to buy separately a charging battery station

I originally had the Vive from 2016 and at the time was one of the best. Quest 2 was not as good. Vive did eventually have a wireless but still required base station setup. Quest 3, which I have 3 of, has a good resolution and ease of use and playability that use it more than I did the vive. The ease to use it anywhere without messing around with base stations and its improved resolution does beat out having base stations with higher resolution.

Wow! What a VR headset. The graphics are stunning and the experience is incredible. Way better than the 2, which I own. Battery life is meh, but get a after market halo strap with batteries and you can VR all day if you wish. The sound quality is great and actually quite loud all by itself. The paddles are comfortable, but the battery life is nowhere near as good as the previous model.

This Quest 3 is one of the best VR/MR headsets I've ever owned, for starters, it has a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor delivering double the gpu power compared to the quest 2. And graphics are amazing thanks to the pancake lenses along with 58-70 mm IPD adjustment ensuring you have the best experience.

Overall some nice improvements from Q2. Pancake lenses which make it much sharper. A small improvement in graphics. And better sound. I was excited for pass through. I shouldn't have been. It's super grainy and I quickly realized I like VR for the feeling of being inside something. The downs are horrible comfort (plan to buy a new headstrap) and the size choices. For the price the entry level should have been 256gb. I think for most the 128gb will suffice. I purchased the 512 to future proof it against larger size games.

Honestly a solid VR headset I could not complain and if you are looking for something on a budget friendly side while not comprising on quality this has you covered for us budget ballers one small con is battery life but there are plenty of ways to alleviate that

I've had many VR headsets, this one is great because 1. it's wireless and 2. mixed reality is a blast to mess around with! Battery life is okay, but can be expanded easily. The best thing about it though is that it's COMFORTABLE. If you've used a lot of headsets, you know that usually you have to swap things to make it ergonomic. The Q3 is pretty cozy right out of the box, made even better with the elite strap.

Ill start by saying I was skeptical that I would like VR. I have a pretty high standard for graphics and games, and want sure that the Quest 3 could provide a decent experience. BOY, WAS I WRONG! The Quest 3 provides an amazing experience. You are really in the action, and you move around way more than I expected. I've tried several games, mostly first person shooters, and they can really get your blood pumping. You forget you're playing a game and really get the feeling that you're there, being shot at. I've also dabbled with casino/poker games. The games are great, sometimes the people you're playing with aren't. Be ready for a bunch of kids that know nothing about poker. I recently subscribed, yes its a subscription, to Supernatural. It's a work out app. I thought, I'll do the free 7 day trial and see that this isn't going to do anything. Again, wrong. This app kicks your butt and you are sweating buckets by the end. If you get the Quest 3, you won't be disappointed. Definitely get an aftermarket head strap because the one it comes with is garbage. I also picked up controller covers with straps, another must. Waiting on an aftermarket face cover thing that is easier to wash/clean as the workouts are soaking the one it comes with. Overall, very impressed and see myself using this device quite a lot.

I did'nt knew that VR gaming has gone SO FAR. I mean, the hand tracking here is outstanding. The cameras are quite good too. Battery is okay but a powerbank or a neck-battery can be needed here. FYI: Be prepared to buy 3rd party accessories to play in comfort. Also since this is android based OS you'll need to spend a bunch of hours to get along with all the feautures. Overall: Its tottally worth it.
