After spending some time using the Meta Quest 3, I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and capabilities. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is smooth, and the overall experience is immersive. The headset is comfortable to wear, and the controllers are easy to use, making it a truly user-friendly device. I believe that the Meta Quest 3 is a significant improvement from its predecessor, offering more advanced features and a wider range of games and applications to enjoy.

My warning is that this product feels subsidized by how bare-bones it is out of the box. If you buy a Meta VR headset, be prepared to spend extra money on accessories and apps/programs to get the full experience. That being said, this thing is awesome. I cannot say much other than how impressed I am with this VR headset. VR still has a long way to go, but Meta has done a great job building a platform that makes the experience easy and approachable. Setup was straightforward, the headset is fun to use, and the overall experience feels much more polished than I expected. The way I see it for $500 I'm able to play videogames with my friends that moved half way across the world. That's such a steal! A Xbox, PS, and PC cant compare in price and experience to the Quest VR goggles.

If you’re on the fence, whether it be because, of the money or you own a quest 2 and not sure if it’s worth it. I will say this, those were my thoughts.. Until I pulled the trigger, I will never regret it. The graphics upgrades are crystal clear compared to the quest 2. Everything is more compatible. More adjustable. Faster speeds and just overall 10 fold upgrade and experience compared to its previous model! Just BUY it’ll be the BEST!

Many accessories and upgrades (carrying case, pro headband, etc) are WAY more expensive than they should be from the Meta store. Just find their equivalents and you’ll get a good product for cheaper. I also think it’s ridiculous that you need to spend $150 extra to double the storage space. $500 is already a lot, and only getting 512 GB out of that is annoying, especially when there’s no external hard drive. So keep that in mind - you can not add more storage via an SD card. That being said, this thing is incredible. It's significantly lighter and less awkward than Quest 2. The quality is also better, and I like the direction they went with the fine-tuning. The controllers don’t have the plastic halo anymore, which makes them less clunky, and I appreciate that. The battery life is ~3 hours for me, depending on the type of games you’re playing, Th Overall, I love this thing and am happy I got it. TLDR: It is an excellent console with overpriced accessories, and it is worth investing in a better cord. 100% enjoyable for the whole family. I highly recommend in comparison to Quest 2 (it works well as a cheaper option, but you’ll get more fatigued quicker on the old one, and it takes longer to charge).

Best vr solution on the market. That doesnt mean there arent flaws. You have to set it up with a Facebook account, which creates all kinds of problems for littles playing. Also, maybe you dont want meta jamming their social solutions down your throat. This also means youre tethered to their marketplace. Expect to need to buy the alternate headstrap. The factory solution is really hard to get set up, and tends to be uncomfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes. For most folks, its going to really impact your impression negatively. Just plan to upgrade the strap, and you wont be disappointed if the out of the box setup isnt to your liking. Finally, the battery kind of sucks. 1-2 hours is the real world max for this thing, and it doesnt charge quickly. So, youre really left using vr in short bursts or plugging in (which defeats the whole purpose of the quest). That all makes it sound like the device is not very good. If one of these things is a deal breaker for you, then its not a good solution for you. Its certainly a less well rounded offering than the original quest or the quest 2. Most of the problems like battery and headset can be mitigated or eliminated with an extra addon purchase. So, that makes some of the issues a bit more serviceable. That said, the actual device is Excellent. I upgraded from a Quest, but ive also used the Quest 2. The realism and processing power of this thing is seriously impressive. There's also options for folks who have glasses to make sure there is clearance between your lenses and the quest's. The AR stuff is in its infancy, but what is there is really cool. All in all, the software and hardware teams for the Q3 should do a victory lap. The folks in charge of ergonomics and overall utilization experience, should look to the devices predecessors for inspiration. Still, its a really good device, and it feels like a solid step in the right direction for vr.

Had the Quest 3 in-stock Regular VR headset user here recently upgraded from the Quest 2 to Queat 3 and I am so glad i did! Played the old one until it was falling apart lol. The graphics, features definitely better. Way more user friendly and one of the best parts for me the headset has more ways to adjust for comfort and is lighter weight.

I love the oculus definitely a buy. One thing though is the life battery and the motion sickness. I have found if you sit in a chair and get used to the oculus on ur face you will be good. But I love the graphics so clean and slick. And the games are no match. I play a lot of my xbox games on it and it's a game changer.

The controllers work great and this vr headset works great for running PCVR titles since it supports wifi 6e. I especially love how the controllers feel and how well they work with 3rd party controller straps such as globular cluster grips. This headset has amazing lenses with minimal distortion towards the edges of the screen. I wish the binocular overlap was better but it's my only minor gripe with this headset. For 500$ this headset can't be beat.

I bought the meta quest 3 this year because I’m too broke for an Apple Vision Pro and honestly I’m impressed. All in all I give this an 8.3/10 Pros: -solid graphics -good tracking -mixed reality is really cool -many other small things Cons: -can get hot on the face -I personally feel some eye strain after a while -still pricey for the capabilities currently -battery isn’t great

I had an old quest a while ago, and decided that it was time to upgrade. So far I have been constantly amazed by the features and quality that the quest 3 has to offer. It was super easy to set up, and there was a lot to try out with the new hand tracking capabilities. Both hand tracking and controller usage remain reliable and constant. Playing games, I rarely experience lag, and the sharper resolution makes for a better playing experience. The audio is great as well. Very happy with the purchase. I have had occasional power hiccups, with the power remaining steady and then suddenly jumping to low power, or requiring a long time to charge, but other than those occasional times the power has also been reliant.

Over all the best vr that you dont need a computer to run on. The graphics are way better that the 3s. It runs smooth for the most part but if u try to download to menny game while playing it will crash. Ive also had problems with it not loading up games property and had to reset it. Its also way mor comfortable stock than the 3s. its way more compact and fits nicely however id still recommend you buy a 3ed party strap and external battry pack because the quest brand one is not comfortable and it only gives you like a hour extra play time. Overall if u have the money its way better that the 3s and if u have rhe money to spend on it youll love it

The Meta Quest 3 512GB has been a game-changer for me. It’s super easy to set up, and the visuals are incredible—everything looks sharp and smooth. Batman: Arkham Shadow was a huge win, letting me step into Gotham and feel like the hero. It’s immersive and just plain fun. The headset is lightweight and comfortable enough for longer sessions, though I’d suggest upgrading the strap for a better fit. The 512GB storage is great—I don’t have to worry about running out of space, even with multiple games and apps. As a parent, I love that it’s standalone—no extra PC or console needed—and it’s versatile enough for the whole family to enjoy. It’s not cheap, but for the quality and experience, it’s absolutely worth it.

If you have a Quest 2 and are on the fence about whether or not to upgrade to a Quest 3, I'd say take the plunge. I rarely used my Quest 2 after getting over the initial honeymoon phase, and I mostly blame that on the low quality visual experience. Quest 3 has a better field of view, a higher resolution, and a pass-through option that isn't completely useless. I can actually read text now without it being a blurry mess. My main gripe is the terrible head strap that it comes with, as longer sessions become an exercise in masochism. I'd really recommend buying a third party head strap--one that has batteries preferred.

The Meta Quest 3 is a phenomenal upgrade. The first thing you notice is how much slimmer the headset is compared to previous generations—the pancake lenses make a world of difference in clarity and comfort. Upgraded my Quest 2 to the Quest 3, LOVE IT! Smaller controllers for your hands are much nicer. The graphics are better and simple to use. Feels lighter on my head and love the meta horizon + that came with the Quest 3!

I’ve been using Meta Quest 3 for a while now and it’s honestly one of the best VR experiences I’ve tried. The graphics are sharp, the mixed reality features are impressive, and the performance feels smooth and fast. Setting it up was simple, and the controllers are very responsive.

Loved Quest 3. The picture quality is amazing, the sound is loud and clear, I wear glasses, but the comfort of the quest with glasses is great too. I have been using it for long 2-3 hour sessions and have not felt any issue. The controllers feel very ergonomic and are designed to perfection.

While I’ve upgraded from the quest 2 I’ve enjoyed, and had a much better experience with this headset than its older counterpart. While the battery runs out quicker the visuals and higher definition is definitely worth it! Slap a portable battery on it and you’re ready to take on a new adventure! Id say its well worth its price (especially the weight difference, does wonders to my neck)
