The color passthrough has added depth to some games allowing you to play in augmented reality (where supported) allowing for more awareness of your surroundings. Hand tracking is super reliable, and the new controllers feel lighter and more accurate. The mixed reality apps are actually and fun and useful. Battery life is decent, but power banks are an option. Overall best VR performance. Excellent purchase!

So happy I made this purchase. I had the original before it was Quest...this is on a totally different level. The new lenses and display really set it apart. So many cool games and experiences to check out too! Thinking of getting another for the girlfriend and kids to get on and play with me. Downsides: headstrap and battery are lacking in my opinion. These were the first things I upgraded and hapy I did.

I dont have the most experience with VR so I can’t say how it compares to other VR systems. Having said that, I thought I would have buyer’s remorse, but I’ve had none! This is such a good time! My only critique is that the battery lasts about 2 hrs or maybe a tad less while mirroring to a bigger screen. So I’d recommend getting the head strap with the battery pack.

I came from the Quest 2 and after owning it for a few weeks, it suffered the fate of collecting dust for months on emd between usage. The Quest 3 is a massive improvement and game changer. The passrheough has enabled me to use it daily with out fail, and the improved lens and resolution make content clear and crisp. I say almost there, because the quality of the passthrough just needs a tiny bit better resolution and clarity. With that said it is still clear enough to read my phone screen, wash the dishes, and overall navigate my surroundings! A must have if its your first VR headset!

The Meta Quest 3 has exceeded my expectations. The image quality is very good, text and details in the cockpit are clear and sharp, and the tracking is precise and stable. I use it both in standalone mode and connected to my PC for flight simulators, and the experience is very immersive. The initial setup was easy, and the app store has a huge variety of games and useful applications. The battery could last a bit longer for very long sessions, and the original head strap can feel a little uncomfortable after some time, but both issues can be improved with accessories. Overall, it’s a very complete headset with excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it.

Im really enjoying my virtual experience it's been amazing. Meta Quest 3. I literally try to go into another world or play a game on my device every night. It's been an amazing experience to go places, and do things alone or with other people whether it's playing in a competitive game, or travel to different worlds on different parts of it country. All and all i highly recommend this device.

Stepping up from a Rift S and the difference is enormous. I also briefly owned a HP Reverb and I would say that the quest 3 is still a substantial upgrade. Very happy with it so far. In terms of price/ quality, it is definitely the best headset on the market. The build quality is great, it's comfortable, excellent clarity and although I still don't think the passthrough is quite good enough for a legit mixed reality experience, it's still a big step forward. I'm also using this with PCVR games over the wireless link and it's worked great! Just make sure you have a good router and fast internet.

This is awesome! The 3d movies are so real! The virtual reality is something so real, you can visit places that trick your mind! So real. I watched movies better than the real cinema specially the 3d movies. The games looks so real in virtual reality that you’re get amazed! The only downside is the battery last about less than 2 hours, but the good news is you can connect the charging cable and keep using the device. Awesome vr , RECOMMENDED. IT WORTH THE MONEY.

2nd iteration in VR for me. This is a great place to start if you have no experience, and worth the upgrade if you have a previous generation. The passthrough is worth every bit of the upgrade. I use it mainly as a at home big screen movie theater when the kids are in the man cave, but opted for the larger storage due to increasing size and quality of apps coming out.

Best VR headset for both new and experienced users. It’s a great upgrade over the Quest 2, with much better clarity and detail. Feels less “front-heavy”. It’s also more powerful so you can take advantage of the graphics updates on many games and any Quest 3 exclusives. The color mixed reality passthrough is amazing compared to the grainy black and white passthrough of the Quest 2. Highly recommend.

Excellent, mixed reality is along a feature to buy this for. Will be nice when they can get performance and battery life on par to make the pass through a little less blurry. Definitely recommend if you already have a quest or your first venture into vr.

Pro: The Meta Quest 3 stands out amongst its competitors as being a fully wireless VR experience without compromising performance. It even directly competes eith Apples Vision Pro with its spatial computing abilities. Cons: Passthrough camera is very grainy and low quality, would like to see an improved spatial camera and bigger battery life next iteration. Overall, would recommend to anyone wanting to get into VR but might intimidated by all the options, you wont be disappointed with the Meta Quest 3

I tried my child's meta first. Well I'm hooked. I bought one. The graphics are wow. Its like you're there. Sound is great too. I'm normally not a gamer, but this changed it for me. It was a good buy for me.

Bought the Meta Quest for my grandson for Christmas and he was so excited. He plays on it everyday. I tried it on New Years and was blown away at the graphics and realism. I enjoyed just being in the lobby and looking around. I did shoot a couple hoops acting like a kid again. It will get you up and moving. Highly recommend for about all ages.

Our daughter has wanted a VR headset for years and this was finally gifted to her for Christmas. She loves it! She plays her game through steam, that seems to work well. She also received a Meta gift card to purchase a game directly from the Meta Quest store. She has enjoyed her new headset for over a month now.

I loved my Meta Quest 3. There are some really good games and some really bad ones, but I didn't buy it to play games; I bought it to exercise, and it's incredibly good for that. There are several apps for exercising, but I'm using one called Supernatural. At first, I thought it was just a game, but as the days go by, I feel the exercise in my body. It's really helping me improve my fitness; it's becoming addictive. The best VR headset I've ever tried, value for money. I've had both the PlayStation and Apple VR headsets. I don't know why the PlayStation ones make me dizzy and nauseous. The Apple ones are good. I can't say otherwise, but they're not worth the price. I don't experience any dizziness or discomfort with the Meta Quest 3 headset, even after extended periods of use of two or more hours. You need to purchase an additional battery; they're much more comfortable to wear and adjust, and the battery lasts twice as long.

I originally had the Vive from 2016 and at the time was one of the best. Quest 2 was not as good. Vive did eventually have a wireless but still required base station setup. Quest 3, which I have 3 of, has a good resolution and ease of use and playability that use it more than I did the vive. The ease to use it anywhere without messing around with base stations and its improved resolution does beat out having base stations with higher resolution.
