Absolutely love my Quest 3. Clearer picture than the Quest 2 and easily adjustable PD. The augmented reality games are very fun as well! Definitely a very good choice for a budget VR headset and can also be used to play PCVR using a cable designed for that much data transfer.

Had a quest 1 and wanted to try some new games, upgraded to the quest 3. Much faster, better graphics, and lighter. Only downside are the controls feel more slick and smooth making them more likely to slide out of your hand compared to the first gen controllers.

I have long been a 3d and such tech aficionado and had the nvidia 3d vision way back in 1999 and then nvidia 3d vision in 2007 ish and bought PS VR in 2016 ish. nvidia 3d vision on a 3d projector was just insane. Playing older Steam games like Rainbow Six in 3d just made the gaming incredible on a 120" wall projected screen. I wanted to get into VR as well early but I got busy and also PS VR gave me a headache from the weight and moving the head around like a maniac will do that. So I avoided it after that even though it was great. Finally bought the Meta Quest 3 and it is incredible. It is obviously 3d and you get amazing depth perception and you feel like you're there like those old arcade games like Tank where you're standing and your head goes into that bowl and you look and move around standing there and shoot. However this is 100x better. Google Earth is just incredible and the best. Especially if you want to take a tour or visit your home or other places. Youtube VR is insane. Regular Youtube is also amazing. Obviously you can use it for those cheeky NSFW videos as well. The mixed reality with passthrough is just incredible you don't bump into things and you integrate the game into your room itself. That is something. We're truly nearing pinnacle of human civilization. Overall, Meta Quest 3 at $500 is the best buy. I would rate this a 9.5/10. The battery discharges super quick so I have a cable that allows charging while plugged into my gaming laptop from 2020 (nvidia gtx 2070m which does incredibly well).

Worth the upgrade for extra storage alone. With more space, I don’t worry about deleting games or experiences. Same excellent performance and visuals as the 128GB version. Great for sharing with others or keeping a big VR library.

I am thoroughly enjoying my time with the quest 3. So far the Mixed Reality feature, while a bit grainy in lower light, has proven to be a worth while addition. In fact, I truly wouldnt want to use another headset that does not incorporate pass through. Its a convenience, once used, youd always find a need for. Quick drink of water, bite of food, or even grabbing something you just set down is easily possible. Besides all this, the graphics do appear to be held back, when titles are targeting all headsets or both q2 and q3. This is something i imagine will subside once we get further into the Q3 generation. All these standalone features and you can still hook up to a PC for maximum graphical and processing output. I consider this device a win, in most areas and would argue that its definitely a worthwhile/ worth spending upgrade from the Q2. I hope it can attract enough of an audience such that VR gets more serious finacial backing and more intrest from our favorite IPs in gaming. To conclude: The quest 3 has me enjoying VR experiences, but has me looking forward to the future even more so.

The Meta Quest 3 really took gaming to a whole new level!!! The more I explore, the more my mind gets blown! It's really an experience that everyone should try out for themselves! Mixed reality games really gives you the best of both worlds and will have you wanting more! Highly recommend!!!

I bought this with high expectations. I already own a set of VR glasses that are pretty impressive, but they are not as immersive as VR goggles. After doing lots of research and reading, I splurged and bought the 512GB version. I plugged it in to charge the battery and finished reading the manual. After setting it up, which is a long process of creating accounts and configuring it for first use, and learning the controls. This process took around 45 minutes at which time the battery was almost dead when done. Back to the charger it went. After charging it again, I immediately went to the App Store and went on the search for a Live TV app. One of the key reasons for purchasing this was for live TV. I mean, you find it right on Meta's website, it says "Live TV". Well forget it. No live TV. I installed a couple other apps for video content, VR and others. I have a PLEX server and wanted to use it. No PLEX App either. I had to purchase a 3rd party app to access my PLEX server. This app left a little to be desired. I did eventually get it to connect, and after watching about 35 minutes of video, I need to recharge it again. I will try more tomorrow I thought. After recharging yet again, I decided to go at it again before going to bed. Disappointment ofter disappointment. I plugged it into the charger and went to bed. In the morning, I tried out some impressive deep immersive apps that show off the Meta's capabilities. I even tried out some games. Very impressive graphics and performance. But I need to charge it again after an hour. Also, the Meta is very heavy. My cheek bones were in pain and I was getting a headache. I noticed that an hour max was my limit before having to take it off due to discomfort. All in all, the Meta is I guess cool. The website is misleading in all of its capabilities. No it can't do live TV. Apps I am used to are missing, lots of the apps are low quality, it is very heavy and the battery life is insanely short. I guess the battery life is not so bad since I can't wear it more than 60 minutes. Needless to say I took it back. For that much money, it was just not worth it to me. 3 stars from me.

After a long time of trying to convince my girlfriend that the quest 3 is way better than the quest 2, I finally bought it while she was out visiting her family and now I'm sleeping on the couch but I have fun killing zombies and pretending to be Ezio Auditore in assassin's creed... so... worth it!

Honestly it’s breathtaking to have the oculus on. I would highly recommend, the quality of the oculus and how perfect the imagery is just astounds me. Every game and effect is flawless. My husband and I love to use it

I bought this thinking it would be a toy but I've used it for fitness, entertainment, 360 degree videos and relaxation apps. The optics are really good as well. I tried a 3s and a Meta 3, I'd recommend the 3, it was well worth the money. Only downside was the headstrap, it's not comfortable. Get an upgraded strap with a battery.

The Meta Quest 3 takes VR to the next level. The visuals are incredibly sharp, the motion tracking is buttery smooth, and the performance boost from the 512GB model is noticeable. Setup was fast, and switching between games or apps feels seamless. Batman: Arkham Shadow is an amazing bonus super immersive and shows off how powerful this headset really is. The mixed reality features and Horizon+ trial make it even better. Definitely the best all-in-one VR experience on the market right now

I am not sure why, but I am playing this much more than I played my Quest 2. The FOV, the smoothness of the frame rates, the clarify in the lenses, all make for a much better experience. When the Q2 moved a bit on your head, you had to adjust it to get back to the sweet spot. I don't have that issue with the Q2, it's still a clear view and much more forgiving. I also don't find the head strap uncomfortable, and I am typically sensitive to things like that. It would be five stars but for a few issues- currently, the battery life isn't great. I resented to having to pay 1/3 more for the larger storage, it was an obvious cash grab, but I ended up just going all in, as it's something I am planning to use for the next 3-4 years. It was also lame how few new games made for the Q3 that were available at launch, but that's hopefully changing soon. All in all, I am very happy with it the Quest and it's ease of use- I think it's going to be a rough road for any head sets trying to steal market share over the next 2-3 years.

This is the best Quest ever. I have purchased all 3 as they came out and this one out shines the other two. Bigger lenses, more control over adjustments and good Augmented Reality. I say good as it is not perfect but still a lot of fun. You see your world in color but the camera image is a little grainy but when you are playing a game you forget about it. The resolution is a lot better than the Quest 2 and some games are being updated to the new resolution and look fantastic. The head strap it comes with is still not comfortable and I have ordered the Bobovr battery strap which I did for the Quest 2 and is very comfortable.

I think this device is really cool. I like how you can control apps and some games with your bare hands instead of using the controllers for everything. I enjoyed the apps and the platformer games. The motion of the shooting games made me feel carsick, but I am in my 30's. I was dissatisfied with the battery life, but there are 3rd-party head straps with battery packs on them.

My 10-year-old son was very happy to get an upgrade from the Quest 2. He likes that the Quest 3 has more storage, and the graphics are better plus its smaller and lighter. He says the passthrough has color which makes the game more fun. He like the controllers because they are easier and better to hold and make the mixed reality better to play. He likes that the headset can track his hand and the front headset is much cooler than the Quest 2. He was very happy to get the Quest 3 for Christmas and said that Meta did there thing in making Quest 3 and he is happy and enjoying his upgrade. Thank you

The Meta Quest 3 is an iterative update to the previous generation. Everything is a little bit better, including the graphics, comfort, sound, etc. if I were to buy this again I would get the one with less storage. This has a lot of unnecessary space for how I use it.

My first intro into VR and this unit doesn't disappoint. The passthrough is great compared to prior models I tested. Its like a private home theatre for movies and the speakers are great as well.

The Meta Quest is a great VR exerience. - With having access to a library of free games and many favorites like Beat Saber, Meta has a amount of fun to be had in whatever way you want to play. With its wireless accessibility it is convenient to use and store. - unlike the PS5 VR (which I own) it is not tethered to a wire. This means you have to be mindful where you play, but it also means that you can have an immersive experience. The wire, though not a horrible feature, can be a bother. The head latching could be more secure, but with the ability to buy other options, I am sure that anyone can find a way for it to suit their needs. - My daughter found herself having to adjust it reguraly as she played to make sure it did not slide down. I did not have this issues, but I am sure younger ones may have a similar issue. As mentioned prior, you can purchase an alternate band to suit your needs. Overall, I am happy with the perchase. It is a hit in the wallet, but its a very fun and worth the time if you have the extra change.

Wanna talk about an upgrade. The Meta Quest 2 is amazing! But the 3 takes it to a whole New level! The pancake lenses really make a huge difference! I got this and the 2 for my son. I have played both, this one is so realistic. We both love it and give it 4 thumbs up! You will not regret this purchase. He thought he was getting the 3S, but I thought if you are gonna upgrade might as well really upgrade. Plus added 2 year accidental with Best Buy and Geek Squad! Would have done longer if I could! For $100 extra that was a steal! I spent way more in 2 years with the 2 for broken parts! Get this instead of 3S if you are wanting to upgrade!

This headset is amazing, the passthrough technology is stunning and there are plenty of games now that take advantage of it. I've also enjoyed VR titles like Batman Arkham and Dungeons of Eternity and Walkabout Mini Golf. My only reasons for not giving 5 stars are the battery life is somewhat low (2 hours of gaming) and the included head strap is difficult to adjust properly and slightly uncomfortable. I fixed these issues by buying a 3rd party head strap and battery, but this should really not be necessary for a device at this price. All in all I'm still very happy with it.
