Graphics and interaction are significantly improved from the oculus quest 2. It was worth the purchase in my opinion. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the battery lifw, much shorter than the quest 2. I have only been able to get 2 hours max out of each full charge. It also does not currently have space sense as the quest 2 which is honestly a huge let down because it was a good safety feature thatthe quest 2 has. I have dogs and without space sense i am not able to tell when they step into my play area. Despite those 2 let downs, I truly like the graphics and the new design. For those out there who are looking for a quest, Oculus quest 2 is able to do the same as quest 3 so save some money and opt for the older version unless 120 ghz is a must for you (not required for games)

The clarity of everything is a huge step up from Quest 2 and the biggest thing i appreciate moving to quest 3. I havent done much mixed reality stuff but colored passthrough is nice and the menu is displayed in your play space. This headset made my pcvr games look so much better too and Half Life Alyx has never looked so good to me. Battery is only 2 hrs but im hoping the elite strap with battery at least doubles that when i get it then id be happy. Overall happy with quest 3

The product is significantly better than previous versions. The graphics are outstanding. The game library has finally caught up, providing much more variety. The cons to having great graphics in a standalone headset is what you’d expect. Product has a very short battery life, so I’d recommended purchasing the external battery as well.

Coming from a Q1 this is a significant upgrade. The visuals are much better and crisper. I tried the mixed reality game that comes with the Q3 and I have to admit it was pretty cool to see. I was impressed with how it mapped my room and the debris from the game interacted with a cabinet. I know others have mentioned terrible battery life, but for me I haven't run into that issue maybe due to the games/apps I use and keeping play sessions to an hour/hour and a half.

Our son loves his VR headset. This was a great purchase that he is getting a lot of mileage out of. Only criticism is how pricey it is.

Great fun. My 9 year old is slowly getting the hang of it, def harder for kids to master as you can’t see what they see to walk them through it, but maybe that’s a good thing so they can develop problem solving and be more comfortable with technology. So from that perspective it’s also a win. I have the store easily locked so no accidental purchases, and so far she’s loving every chance she gets to use it. Battery life isn’t horrible but it def isn’t a 4+ hour usage device without getting a battery pack add on. This isn’t really a negative in my book, because I only let her use it an hour per day, but it MIGHT be a knock if you plan to use it for longer durations of gaming or video watching. My only knock would be the supplied headband, not super comfortable for anyone in my house. I bought a $30 padded replacement with a sizing dial off Amazon and now I have no more complaints.

I love how easy it is to go into Best Buy explain the situation and they understand you and work with you. I purchased my first Meta Quest 3 and I noticed it was taking less than an hr. to charge it and nothing would load and the Meta button wouldn't work. And a couple times the game play would come up to start a game. I returned the Quest to Best Buy, explained what was happening and Best Buy was more than happy to replace my Quest 3 with a new one and the replacement Quest hasn't had any issues. Thank you Best Buy for making returns enjoyable and hassle free. I buy all of my electronics from Best Buy, my laptops, iPads, phones and gaming devices. Thank you Best Buy.

I have owned an enjoyed every iteration of the quest lineup. I have owned the 3 for over a year now, and it continually improves with each update. It is a dream come true for this 34 year old gamer kid who hardly has time to use it. From reading my study material, doing actual reports for my career as a firefighter/emt, to using actual simulators that pertain to my job. Playing games like golf +, dig vr, onward, and tactical assault VR have brought me countless hours of joy. Or to be able to simply sit back at work and watch a documentary on down time. It is a joyful machine of the future, absolutely insane to believe these exist in my lifetime.

Really fun and immersive. The floating menus with the mixed reality is so cool it feels like you’re in the future. Graphics are great and games are very varied.

The 3 is definately an upgrade from the 2. Better graphics and the mixed reality is why I bought it. The battery life is not very good, i did buy a strap with an additional battery and it tripled the battery life.

I remember being blown away when I first tried the Quest 2—it felt like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. I even rushed home early from work when it was delivered, and I was instantly hooked, spending hours in VR until motion sickness hit me. When the Quest 3 came out, I did tons of research and couldn’t resist the idea of a VR experience that’s clearer, smoother, lighter, and even more immersive. I bought mine from Best Buy and rushed home to dive in—and wow, it’s a huge upgrade! Everything I loved about the Quest 2 is better. The passthrough feature is a game-changer as well—I found myself wandering the house with floating screens in front of me (even parked one in the bathroom once, no joke). The Quest 3 is perfect for anyone wanting to feel completely immersed in incredible games and virtual environments. It’s fun, intuitive, and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

great vr headset. didn't want to spend big time apple money on theirs and meta offers a great set of features and apps. very sturdy, charges fairly quickly, and looks amazing in VR.

Lighter and pass through is better than the quest 2 but face mask part slips on occasion. But in my opinion very good

Got this as an upgrade for my son as he had the Quest 2. He says the improvements are incredible. From the clarity, the field of vision, smooth movements, and even the comfort, it's all there. He absolutely loves it.

I got this for my 16 yr old son for Christmas and he so loves the 3, no issues, easy online ordering with curbside pickup. He was so shocked and amazed when he opened his gift. He has already ordered accessories for it.

I have always wanted VR ever since I was a kid. Now that I got my own job and saved up some money I had finally purchased it. Meta quest 3 is by far the best one I have ever used, I’ve used my friends quest 2 few years ago but this is one is way better. Play games on it, watching movies are just super fun, everything about this headset is great but for one thing. The strap and the battery, just make sure to buy a extra head strap that was has batter on it, then you will have a perfect headset

Using this product for the first time was simply out of this world I can attest that this product is very Addictive. I getting a second one.
