We enjoyed the Meta-Quest 2 and upgraded to the Meta-Quest 3 when it became available. The graphics are noticeably improved. The pass through option allowing you to switch to entire room view is also an advance. The mixed reality games are another improved option. Many good apps and you tube videos can be enjoyed with this. Would recommend adding the elite head strap as it makes use and fitting much easier.

Every aspect is an upgraded experience from the 2. Better resolution, usable head strap, fully adjustable eye spacing, built in eyeglass spacers and thinner for a better feel. I feel the advertised 2 hour battery life is a bit of an exaggeration but easy resolved with a battery head strap or a good battery with usb c output and a cord. Excited to check out the bundled game when it’s released. Home run!

The quest 3 provides some of the clearest easily accessible consumer vr experiences possible with significant comfort improvements compared the quest 2 due to reduced weight. All of these pros definitely make it worth it if you’re a vr enjoyer however many games on the platform still lack that feel and polish of many modern flatscreen titles.

I have an older version of oculus meta quest and this one. The item is heavy on your nose. I suggest grabbing an upgrade head strap that contains a battery. What that will do is balance the weight on your head and reduces your chances of a headache . Other than that it’s a fantastic gaming experience for young and the old like me!

The games are incredibly immersive and quite fun, I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone who enjoys gaming. The only thing I don’t like about this is that the battery lasts about 2 hours before needing to charge. Would recommend getting a long charging cable or external battery pack. All in all though, great product, 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely love it! After a bad experience with competing product, I returned the other one and purchased the Q3 same day and I am so glad I did.

Used it for the last yearish. Amazing little thing. Used it for training for a pew pew. Really helped over the winter.

So much better/ crisper graphics, realistic controller feedback, headset is more comfortable the Oculus 2, and i like that the controllers are less bulky

At first i was a bit confused when my wife told me she bought a Meta Quest 3 for our son. I was confused because we already own two Quest 2’s but then i tried it out and all I can say is Wow! What an amazing piece of technology the comfort and quality far exceed the previous models the graphics and life like feeling are spectacular. Second to none. What a fantastic gift for the holidays.

We got this for Christmas as a gift to our son and he absolutely loves the Meta Quest 3!! We even got on it for a bit to see what the hype was all about and it truly is such an awesome and unique experience. He had been saving up to buy it himself and when we surprised him, he cried. He’s played on his cousins Meta Quest and after seeing the way it has helped him get out of his shell and communicate with online friends (he has autism) has been a treat in itself but it keeps him active too, which is so important, it’s a much better option than sitting on your butt at this age and playing Xbox and not being active. We are highly impressed with the graphics and games that are available as well. Overall a great purchase!

Love the content. Keep in mind there will be an additional cost for cool programs. Physically the headset is comfortable. Navigation within the VR could be much more intuitive. Like how do i get back to the home screen

My son is happy with this so I am happy too! He gets really into the virtual experience. It's cool that I can see what he's doing on my phone as well. For a couple of years he kept asking me for a VR headset. I wanted him to be older when I got it. I saw videos of people getting injured so I was concerned. However it does warn you if you are near something that you could walk into in real life. He has been completely safe so far. It is expensive but during Christmas when I bought it Best Buy gave me $100 gift card with this purchase....so Best Buy is the Best!

Great VR experience. Love the resolution. Takes some time for eyes to adjust. You might get some headaches at first or feel motion sickness. The product is great, though. My only complain so far is the head strap isn’t very efficient. For the price, they should include the premium head strap instead of the elastic straps.

I am thoroughly pleased with this product. The game that comes bundled with it is a delightful bonus, adding significant value to the overall package. The ability to play my old games on this new platform is a fantastic feature. The color pass-through is another standout feature, providing a vibrant and lifelike visual experience that enhances every game. However, the free trial of Quest+ didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The selection of games was limited and didn’t include access to their entire library, which was a bit disappointing. While the product is a bit on the expensive side, the overall quality, performance, and features justify the price tag. In conclusion, despite a few minor drawbacks, I am very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it to any gaming enthusiast looking for a top-notch experience.

This virtual reality experience is excellent; it has great graphics and very good gameplay. I have to admit that I've become very active and have even lost weight. It's a very good product.

Without PCVR : The Quest 3 compared to its counterparts has excellent visual resolution due to the Pancake lenses. However, brightness is dark compared to the PSVR 2 due to excluding OLED technology. Additionally if you wear glasses, it is a good idea to purchase prescription lenses to avoid scratching Q3 lenses. I purchased from HONSVR which has worked excellently. The Q3 default strap is a complaint I have, but I didn't have the chance to test comfort of the headset with the prescription lenses. I had issues with Q3 weight on my nose bridge due to the Q3. Some other sources recommend the Elite strap (3rd party I believe), and other products. The battery life is poor and lasts ~2-2.5 Hours on full brightness. As a result, I had to purchase a portable charger. When hooked up, the Q3 is prone to reaching high temperatures. Meta horizons and the Meta scape in general is still in its infancy, so I wasn't very impressed by the social features. But the mixed reality is amazing (FIgmenXR), and games like Asgards Wrath 2 and Beatsaber are definitely must haves. Meta's inability to include a 256 GB product is predatory due to 128 being too little, and 512 being a bit excessive. If you aren't using PCVR, then please know your Quest3 use case so you aren't over or under budgeting.

I'm fairly new to VR, but I have tried out several different brands. Over all, MQ3 is the best. Easy to setup and use. The stock head straps are barely just OK. Invest in better headgear and rechargeable batteries from the controllers.

I cannot stop talking about this meta quest 3! The graphics are amazing and the view through to the real world especially your own room and having floating screens all over the place is absolutely amazing highly recommend upgrading if you already have the two version or even just buying it if it's your first time!

The Quest 3 is a huge improvement over the Quest 2 in nearly every way and is easily the best VR headset offering currently. The biggest thing that stood out to me is the clarity. The image is very clear, across the entire visual field, and the pixel density seems better than even the Index. No more "sweet spots" like the Quest 1 or 2. Also good news for glasses wearers: you can use the Quest 3 just fine while keeping your glasses on. You can adjust the face gasket of the Quest 3 to keep a bit of distance between your eyeglasses and the display lenses. The audio is pretty good, an improvement over the Quest 2, but nowhere near audiophile levels yet. Battery level is between 1 and 2 hours of continuous use, which is the same as most wireless VR headsets. Honestly, the only improvements this headset could use are a dedicated and official Steam VR app or something. That, and the ability to sort your library.
