The graphics are a huge step forward from the Quest 2. The Quest 3 is lighter and fits better on your head. The only downside is the battery life is not as good as the Quest 2. I use it in iRacing and the graphics improvement made racing even more realistic.

This hasn't lost its appeal after owning it for some time now. Upgraded the batteries and setup a wireless connection to my PC and that's it. Plenty of stand up and sit down games. Accuracy is spot on and mostly dead zone free. Steam games were a little clunky to set up because they require a PC to actually run the games, but it's wireless and most of my game titles are in the headset anyway and run flawlessly independent of a PC.My old Occulus Rift was a pain for cable management with certain games. This is free of that burden and the see through camera helps you see the environment around you when not immersed in a game.

I really enjoy the quest 3, it has a lot of games to choose from and ot is very interactive. The setup on this is very easy and the eye tracking is an awesome feature to use. During gameplay the battery does not last that long. I would hoghly recommend getting a longer charger or battery packs. The strap and face should be exhanged as with time during gameplay you will feel discomfort from both. Overall compared to the quest 2 I really enjoy this model and it looks significantly better than previous models.

Compared to the Quest2 and Quest3s the Quest3 outshines either of the two. The graphics are cleaner. There is not the need to have the headset centered to find the sweet spot for clarity. The games are more responsive. Finally the Quest 3 is lighter by a lot. Definately worth the little extra. Batman Arkham which came with my quest 3 is a real work out

very cool headset awesome graphics and play with other players surf the web listen to your favorite mp3 or station while playing your favorite game so much more you can do with this and watch TV stuff a great vr headset check it out you wont be disappointed i was not a everyday gamer but getting in to it but this thing is awesome

Very happy with this vr headset and the quality visual was. Being able to use it stand-alone and on a gaming pc is great. If you purchase this get walkabout minigolf. Hands down one of the best vr games. My biggest complaint is the stock headstrap and battery life. They are both terrible. Do yourseld a favor and get the bobo vr pro with the extra battery. It also has a built in fan. There is some light bleed from the stock interface too. I would recommended switching to a silicone version (can purchase online). These block out the light and are more comfortable to me.

Huge game changer from the psvr the only limit is how small of an environment you're in, and not having a charger for double AA batteries but they do last a pretty long time. Resolution is and graphics are very sharp.

It's a fun experience. I've found a lot of great games and the graphics and tracking are really good. The only thing i would warn about is possible motion sickness. Just a tip, for games that are really bright and colorful with a lot of "walking" i found to be slightly nausea inducing. Make sure that the room you're in has good air circulation. It's something that you wouldn't expect but it helped me a bit when i first started playing

The graphics have been improved. Overall more comfortable while wearing as well and the battery life is longer than the MQ2 so far. I recommend to pair it with the charging station for convenience of having your unit charged at any moment you need. It does take a bit of getting used to which I assume would be the same with any VR unit. Lots of fun but the setup could have been easier(need to update the unit to proceed with the setup but it doesn’t tell you that or if the update is progressing.)

Works great does everything I wanted it to do. Battery life could be a little better but that's why I bought the extended battery pack from kiwi

The Quest 3 delivers sharp visuals, smooth performance, and a comfortable fit for longer sessions. With 512GB of storage, there’s plenty of room for games and apps, and the included Batman game and Horizon+ trial are nice bonuses. A solid step up from previous models, and great value for the price.

I am loving it. Great picture quality and comfortable to wear for long duration. Mixed reality is amazing. A few improvements are required ; Battery life is not great , and a few glitches in software. Overall well made and Great VR for the price.

The VR works great on its own. Set up is detailed and effective with teaching basic uses. This was purchased to use specifically with PS5. It is not, however, simple to pair\use with a PlayStation. There was also some delays in comms, that translated to some glitchy VR. Possible dedicated SSID for the comms between the meta and PS would help. Wireless should not have been an issue. Verified 1.6 Gbs speed- WiFi 6 with Nighthawk cable modem router. If I was not looking for VR specifically for the playstation and easy to use for children I would have kept this. However

Really great for casual gaming, if you like to exercise its also perfect the battery lasts long enough to enjoy some time with your family if you buy more than one, cooking games are the best, pretty comfortable as it is, maybe using apps for entertainment might consume more energy if you enter the full immersive big screen mode but uts really worth it, I bought them for my birthday and have had a lot of fun with them, recommended, the only detail is the battery for longer gaming sessions get a battery headstrap if you want to extend it

Bougjt for my son as a gift for getting straight A's. The graphics and upgrades from the prior model is night and day. Speeds are spot on amd zero lag time. Well worth the price!

The Quest 3 512GB is a huge upgrade from the Quest 2. The mixed reality features make it feel like a completely new device, blending virtual worlds with my actual surroundings in a way that is smooth and natural. It is also much better at detecting my environment, so setting up boundaries feels quicker and more accurate. That makes the overall experience way more immersive and convenient compared to the Quest 2. The headset is lighter and more comfortable, and the visuals are noticeably sharper. The 512GB storage is perfect for loading up on games and apps, and the 3-month Horizon+ trial is a fun way to explore content right away. The passthrough camera is clear, and the improved lenses make everything look crisp. Battery life is average but the fast charging helps. Overall, it is the most polished VR headset I have used and a clear step forward from the previous generation.

This is a huge improvement over the Meta Quest 2 which I also own. I was shocked when I first turned it on and the passthru came into view. I had no idea that I'd be able to see my real surroundings in such detail. I can read my phone and watch with the headset on. Games are faster, smoother. The resolution is much better. The fit feels better even with the default strap. I'm waiting on a BoboVr M3 which should provide and even better wearing experience. The pancake lenses are sooo much better than the lenses on the Quest 2. This unit will require upgraded external batteries. The external supplemental batteries you may have bought for your Quest 2 are not going to last very long on the Quest 3 and may not work at all. Quest 2 headstraps will not work with the Quest 3 without modification or conversion kits.

FIRSTLY BEFORE START, NO FACEBOOK REQUIRED!! That’s right!! NOOOO FACEBOOK is neither required nor needed to use the Quest 3. You can link them if you’d like or you can just simply use your email address to sign up and go full solo. I was hesitant to ever buy any Meta Quest but was just so happy to see FB wasn’t needed. Now onto my review. I was pleasantly surprised by the Meta Quest 3 when I first turned it on. I’ve owned a PSVR for the PS4 Pro for many years now and have highly enjoyed it. While the Quest 3 does not exceed the visuals and fidelity of the psvr it does a great job of introducing you in the world of VR and AR/MRA. I purchased a few games as it had a good Christmas sale going. Asgards Wrath is fun and intuitive. Assassin’s Creed does nice giving you a good view of the world of AC. Music games are a wonderful flashback to Guitar Hero and the like as I have really missed that era. All without the need for extra plastic peripherals. And Mixed Reality games such as First Encounter which is free coming with the device showcases how clean and clear the front cameras are to the outside world and in. Battery life is what you’d expect, 2-3 hours. I use the headset on my bed the most because it can be hard to move from time to time standing up for myself and other medical conditions. In this case I have a long 10ft cable I currently use for my tablet and phone. Works well with my quest. I think it’s a 30 watt charger brick. It’s able to keep my device charge as I use it at the same time whenever I’m playing music games with my arms or watching YouTube VR and other video streaming apps. NEGATIVES: so if you’ve never used an Oculus Rift S, Steams VRs or PlayStation VR 1 and/or 2 you’ll have absolutely no idea how narrow the Quest is in comparison. For that reason you’ll be fine. If you have used the others as I have then it’ll instantly be obvious. The Quest is a little more akin to looking through binoculars. The immersive-ness isn’t as “you’re inside another world” as the psvr. It will take awhile of you actually playing the Quest 3 for it to hit as your brain adjusts to the differences. LCD LENS- the lens are lcd. When you’re in psvr and a game is loading or has a black background you’ll feel it. You’ll feel the depth and you’ll see what looks like the device being off (when loading) because of psvr OLED tech. It’s beautiful. The lcd on the Quest 3 can break immersion at times when it does use things such as the darkness in horror games. On the other hand the brightness is great and provides a nice view and color for anime and brighter media. And lastly just a few things to touch up on. The psvr had a straight view, but looking around you can see the lens abit blurry (if you’ve played it you’ll know what I mean). On the oculus rift 2 it has that “door” effect. The Quest 3 has none of these issues. It’s clean, it’s clear and has no window door effect nor blur around the edges. My only wish is for the next models to use OLED. It would make it sooooooo much better. I’d also like for a bigger view. The controls work perfect. The switching between VR in view and your outside surroundings is a quick switch. Cameras are clean. It can record anything you see and play which is a plus. It can track your hand movements. And it can also track via just pointing through your headset view and tapping the Volume button when it notices your controls or hands aren’t in view (switches to a white dot reticle inside your view). It can cast to your phone and chromecast. Records and screenshots automatically sync to your phone app. I have yet to try the pc air sync yet but I’ve read that it works well. And as for sound…..the Audio is excellent! I couldn’t believe how loud and bass heavy the built in audio was. All in all, a must buy for anyone wanting to get into VR. It is head and above the Quest 2. I’m pretty impressed even after owning a psvr and Rift S for years. Yes, it won’t match those but for what it is doing it truly is very, very well. And by the by, I have the 512gb model and currently used about 200gb which is more than the 128gb model. If you plan to use a few games 128 is enough. If you’re like me and are very crazy with downloading many games, videos (quest 3 has videos you can actually download to the storage and even upload to library for offline viewing which takes up space) AND recording sessions then go 512 as you can not add an sd card or any storages. Asgard Wrath 2 by itself is very large and THE largest game. 40ish gb. The other games are all less than 10gb. Assassins creed I want to say was between 10-20gb. So if you’ve been holding out, now is the time. And no Facebook? Highly, highly recommend the Meta Quest 3!
