I'm crazy about my new Oculus headset and use it several times a week. I'm not a big gamer, but that doesn't matter because I'm enjoying old-school pastimes like billiards and pinball, I'm working out, and I'm watching video. I've purchased prescription lens inserts from Zenni to go with it, and they snapped right in with no trouble. The resolution in this headset is way better than that of the Meta Quest 2, and mixed reality is my new favorite feature. I highly recommend MR games, especially if you have pets or small children running through your field of play. I worried I was spending too much for something I might not use, but that turns out not to have been a problem. I'm getting my money's worth.

This was a gift for my daughter. She states that the best part of my Meta Quest is being able to explore different games in one place. The 3D animations look realistic and makes her feel like she is really a part of what is happening.

By far , this is the best VR headset I have used. My response 8s bsed on these points. Its lighter than most other headsets. Quick boot Sensors are pretty accurate Easy and comfort on the face However, it uas 9ne big drawnack : the battery back up time . This issue can be resolved by extra battery pack strap. Overall, its a nice little system.

Upgrading from the Quest 2 to the Meta Quest 3 is like night and day. This headset is worth every penny. I bought it specifically for sim racing on iRacing, and it has blown me away. The performance is buttery smooth—I consistently hit 120fps with the graphics settings cranked up, making every race feel immersive and responsive. The improved resolution and lighter design make long sessions more comfortable, and the inside-out tracking feels rock solid. If you're serious about VR, especially for competitive gaming, the Quest 3 is a no-brainer. This is hands-down the best standalone VR experience in this price range out there right now

The Meta Quest 3 is incredibly easy to use, even for someone new to VR. From the moment you unbox it, the setup process is smooth and intuitive. The interface is clean, the controls are responsive, and it doesn’t take long to get fully immersed. The updated design is lighter and more comfortable, making longer sessions much more enjoyable without feeling bulky or overwhelming. One of the best features for me is the 512GB of storage. I love being able to download and keep a large library of games without worrying about space. Whether it's action, adventure, puzzle, or fitness games, there's always something ready to play. It’s great not having to constantly delete and reinstall games just to try something new. As a PC user, I’ve found the performance on the Meta Quest 3 to be a huge step up compared to older models. With the ability to connect to my gaming PC, the visuals are stunning and the frame rate is super smooth. Games like Half-Life: Alyx and Blade & Sorcery look amazing and run without a hitch, making the experience even more immersive. Overall, the Meta Quest 3 offers an outstanding VR experience. Short version: best value for money, works great on it's own and connected to pc. Get different headstrap, cannot overstate how much a headstrap with a fan helps (like bob vr s3). Detailed version: I got this while I was looking for a headset, specifically to use with PC. Considering the quest 3 has the hardware of a cellphone, I wasn't very confident that this would be a good fit. However, nearly every other headset on the market is sitting somewhere around 500 to 1000 dollars more than this, so I gave the Quest 3 a shot. Needless to say I've been pleasantly surprised with how well this works. On PC, it connects pretty easily (depending on which way you connect) and so long as you have a good wifi connection and a PC sufficient to run your game of choice, it works great. The PC does the heavy lifting and the quest just becomes an interactive display. The pancake lenses are a mile beyond fresnels, which really helps bridge the gap compared to some other headsets that might beat quest on pure resolution. Plus, the IPD settings on this allows you to get a much finer picture compared to some headsets (like the 3S for example) that only have a handful of preset settings. The battery life is ok but I highly recommend getting a third party head strap with a built in battery. The Elite Strap is waaay overpriced and honestly isn't worth it. I cannot recommend enough getting a head strap with a built in fan (like the bobo vr s3) as the headset gets pretty hot while gaming (something I noticed immediately while using a friend's headset with the elite strap). Overall it's been great.

My fiance and I bought two of these during a snow storm. They kept us entertained. The only issue is the battery life is not very good. You almost have to have an extra battery pack if you are wanting to play for some time. Other than that, the picture is incredible. We love to play putt putt against each other. It truly feels like we are at a real course

Big improvement from quest 2. Need aftermarket head strap as stock not comfortable and needs longer battery. Recommend a head strap with swappable battery. Lots of games and really like the new subscription model as it’s cheaper and has many games with 2 new games monthly. Fun games and also nice to watch movies and surf content. Could use better interface as I am quite spoiled also having an Apple Vision Pro. Using the hand gestures to select items takes a steady hand. As for accessories I like the Meta version because all work together recommend the charging cradle, hand straps and silicone facial interface all work perfect together and keeps you charged up and ready.

Very good meta quest! The visual effects makes me feel that im actually in the game! The controllers are lightweight and feel comfortable in my hands, They give me the sensation that I can actually touch and totally interact in a game. Its not laggy when I play high quality games. The headset strap is very comfortable and is adjustable to wrap aroud my head. The lense settings are a big plus! It lets me adjust to the perfect fit to my eyes. The lenses dont fog up at all, its very breathable. Now some things to improve on. The battery life, it can die very quickly. Max battery only lasts 2 hours, and when playing high quality or demanding games (graphics) that can drain it drastically. And when playing demanding games it can cause the headset to get hot on the front of the headset, which causes me as a player to start sweating while playing, which makes it uncomfortable. Overall its a great product I would recommend to my friends to buy!

A fantastic upgrade from my 64GB quest 2 headset. The headset is lighter and the included head strap helps it fit very comfortably. Optically there is no comparison - the 3 is a vastly better VR headset than the 2. Another superlative is PassThrough; with the 3 your space is in full color - not the grainy B/W PassThrough of the model 2.

The MQ3 is considered the best PCVR solution for the price compared to other offerings that are 3x the cost. I have been using the MQ3 for more than a year with my DCS simpit. I'm hoping the MQ4 will bring higher performance with mini-OLED panels for higher resolution in the future. The only negative is the head straps are awful and is a required upgrade for lengthy comfort.

Coming from a quest 1 and tried a friends quest 2. This is a massive step up in quality. Screen looks much clearer and feels much lighter. I would recommend getting a different head strap because the little jock strap it comes with sucks and hurts my head. With an upgraded strap this thing is a lot of fun. Would also recommend getting a strap with another battery if you plan on playing for longer than an hour or two at a time

So far so good!!! Amazing product, mostly because my kid can play his games and exercise at the same time or at least move and sweat get tired. So is a great device

I bought this to upgrade my son’s Quest 3S, and the difference is truly night and day. The Quest 3 takes everything you love about the 3S and elevates it to a whole new level. Games look sharper and more immersive in every way, with noticeable improvements in both performance and visuals. The fit and comfort are also much better, making longer play sessions more enjoyable. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, and anyone considering the upgrade should absolutely go for it, you won’t regret it.

So many good things to say about this device, where to even start? I guess a bit of background. For my career, I'm a Sr. Technical Writer working from home. For my hobbies, I love 2D gaming and creative writing. The AVP released and naturally, my interest in virtual computing/monitor solutions was more than piqued. Not keen on spending $3,500, I started trialing some "XR glasses", namely the Xreal Air 2 Pro and the VITURE One XR. After that proved to be an absolute fail in the productivity realm, I went ahead and picked up the Meta Quest 3. There was nothing that could prepare me for just how flooring this experience would be. Popping in the headset for the first time is really cool, once you get it adjusted to comfort, which can take a bit of finicking (and some 3rd party accessories, discussed later). The real mind-blowing experience for me though, was downloading the Immersed app (free) from the Meta Store and remote connecting to my work MacBook. In this app, you're thrown into a beautiful immersive 3D environment, where you have complete remote access to the device you're connected to. From here, you can spawn one to five virtual monitors that can be resized, curved, and placed anywhere in your virtual environment. You open the palm of your hand and reveal an interactive menu, tap on the icon with a finger to engage it. This allows you to quickly switch between a virtual environment and passthrough (cameras capturing the real world around you), change your seat in the virtual environment, hide your virtual screens, mute your mic, and more. So aside from being the pinnacle of my virtual office setup, it's also a mind-blowing unit for 2D game consumption, or any type of media entertainment really. The Xbox Cloud Gaming app allows you to stream Xbox Game Pass titles on a massive virtual screen. You can also use Immersed or a paid app like Virtual Desktop to remote connect to your PC, which can then be used for playing PC games on, again, a massive virtual screen. Watching LotR in the same manner is like getting to relive it in the theaters again. If you would've told me that once I get a Meta Quest 3, my physical monitors and TVs would collect dust, I would've never believed it. Experiencing it for the first time and utilizing this invaluable piece of technology for my work and leisure has been an absolute dream. Seriously cannot wait for the future of VR. Also, if you compare this unit to the other VR headsets out there, you'll find the value to be the best available. $500 for the 128GB or $650 for the 512GB is an absolute steal. You get what you pay for, twice over. If you plan on using this unit for extended sessions, I would highly recommend getting a 3rd party head strap. The one I use is called the BOBOVR M3 Pro and it allows me to wear my MQ3 while working for several many hours throughout the day. This is because the weight distribution balances all the pressure loosely on your head, with padding, instead of tightly on your face. TL;DR, if you want a world-changing virtual viewing experience for movies, shows, and 2D games, a superb productivity tool, and a very capable VR/PCVR gaming device, look no further than the Meta Quest 3. Great resolution, great native OS, tons of apps on the Meta Store, option to sideload Android APKs, color passthrough, exceptional controllers, hand tracking, light and compact (it's even lighter than the AVP), tons of 3rd party accessory options, and so much more. Yes, I'm very passionate about the product, but that's only because I've literally seen and experience everyday how much the MQ3 can do for me. I've owned it 15 days and have 125 hours in Immersed. Racked up a ton of Xbox and Demeo (VR tabletop game) hours too. I love it so much.
