I recently purchased the Meta Quest 3 Breakthrough Mixed Reality headset with 512GB storage, and it has exceeded all my expectations. I have been slow to pick up VR. Im old enough to remember Virtual Boy by Nintendo and well lets just say it needed work. But innovative. When VR in the current era came around I watched but didnt engage because I am content with gaming on a screen. But when I began reading about Vision Pro that Apple is about to release I realized that Meta Quest 3 might be worth a shot for its price, and it will let me know if these companies are on to something. Well from the moment I turned this on I was captivated. To put it into words is hard, but lets just say that it blew my mind. The graphics aren’t stellar, but very good, the immersion is amazing though. Just setting up my little spaceship lobby was a blast. Then I started checking out the virtual social area. I walked into a concert and began a conversation with someone frim who knows where. It was really so much more immersive than using a headset on my consoles. Some if the games I’ve tried are addicting and I am excited for more. I am truly happy getting into this VR space. Meta is a great value to experience purchase. I am not sure about upcoming devices that will be much pricier but if you are looking to try VR, don’t hesitate getting this device

It's been excellent and super fun! We use it for ask sorts of things besides just games, we also make art with it as well as some remodeling.

The vr headset it self is ok as a stand alone. The quality of the picture in the lens is great compared to the Quest 3s but the processing power is about the same. Honestly the best way to use this headset is connecting it to a pc for higher end games like the Batman or Deadpool game. But for your normal games that aren’t as demanding will still work well. Not sure if it’s worth the price if you’re not gonna use it often though.

I’ve had the quest 2 for 2 years and i upgraded to the 512gb model of the quest 3. It ran smoothly and it was a lot better than the 2. Only issue is when i try activating meta plus through the app and email i was sent, it prompts me to pay and its only one month.

Wow. This is the most amazing VR headset I have used. I was mostly interested in buying the Meta Quest 3 for mixed reality and I am completely blown away. Mixed reality is done so well and it is a huge upgrade from the Quest 2. The controllers are much more comfortable than before. The 512GB option is especially useful if you plan on having a lot of games.

A massive leap in tech from the quest 2, and with the better resolution and faster tracking; PCVR games are better than ever. Not to mention the mixed reality games are definitely worth a try!

Much better than the version before. I am able to create mases for 3d printing and play games on 3D.

Much lighter weight than the Quest 2. Extremely comfortable straight out of the box. I wasted a lot of money shopping on after-market, facial interface gear to make my Quest 2 more comfortable. Every conceivable add-on is available on the Meta web site. The only drawback is waiting for upgraded games, apps, and content.

Got this for my grandson for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. He plays his VR daily.
