Fun once you get the hang of it

You get used to the motion sickness the more into a game you get (just quite as soon as you feel it), decent in game lighting helps too. Vignette helps with first few playthroughs but youll want to turn it off eventually. Past that ... this is kind of amazing to have. Watching videos is awesome too ... So much to do with it and youll forget the sun already set.

My teanage loves the device and is able to create his own digital space so that he doesnt run into this worlds physical objects. Only issue is that we have ri say he is 17. Tried making me a parent to approve his purchase request but we coudnt get the 6 months of gaming nor would he have been abke to get the free game. Onky becaise it was complicated to set up as a parent.

I use it for workouts, fun games, watching videos or even as my virtual desktop. The immersive experience is something that I never thought would be that good. Allows me to remain undistracted while I work.

Upgrade from 2 - worth it to me

After oevr 5months of no use. I used it today and the device is overheating to the point that the battery drains fast and get and overheating msg and shuts down. Contact meta quest and they just want more money for a replacement.

Not only is it fun game night for the family you can use it while traveling. Just be conscious of the motion sickness, it goes away the more you play! Arizona sunshine is a great game to start!

It takes a few minutes to get comfortable with using the controllers but once you do it's very user-friendly. The only suggestions i have would be better wrist straps and make the head straps easier to remove for washing.

It's for sure an improvement on the Quest 2. I particularly like the new PD adjustment feature which is a clear improvement on the Quest 2. I do wish that it was oled for deeper blacks as well as a higher resolution but you can't have everything I suppose.
