Fun but not practical for me

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was definitely crazy to experience how clear and real everything looked in VR but sadly it was giving me motion sickness and headaches from little use. Ive read u can get over this but after a couple weeks of use, id still get the same feeling after using it. Decided to take back cuz of this, but i have a friend who has one and hes fine using it along with tons of others. So if u arent prone to headaches or motion sickness, its definitely a mind blowing piece of tech!

VR/AR is top notch

And i must say im beyond impressed. Image quality on the device alone whe playing VR is amazing. And if you have a gaming pc that is VR ready you can get system quality graphics thru PCIink. Steam VR, Xbox Game Pass, Amazon and Netflix. So many options for entertainment on a device well worth its new current pricing.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it a lot it’s very fun the games are super small so I can download so many on the 512gb it’s good to start on small free games 1st then use the free month trial after a couple days of the meta quest+ I would recommend the only problems is is that the quality of looking irl through the headset is blurry hard to see my own phone and sometimes words and the battery life really sucks it’s mandatory to buy a aftermarket headstrap that can carry switchable battery packs

While I wish they had OLED screens the LCD do just fine for me. AR still feels gimmicky to me so far but I don’t use this device for anything other than entertainment/games. Someone who uses it in a productivity setting might feel different. I went ahead and bought the link cable as well so I could use this as a PCVR headset as well and happy that I did! With that you have access to all the rift and steam PCVR titles. The strap is comfortable enough to get me thru a few hours long sessions. Overall very impressed with this device.

The passthrough video for mixed reality is also very impressive!

Great headset but major microphone flaw

But the manufacturer made a very poor job implementing the microphone. Everyone is complaining from that flaw and they are right the price for 512 gig version is very high

We can see how the battery life can seem short especially if you are just getting into the groove and do not what to charge your headset at the time.
If you are looking to extent your battery life we would suggest looking into our elite head strap with battery as it has a build in battery on the strap that will extend your battery life by 2 hours.

Fun Gadget

Had to acclimate myself to it over a couple weeks to reduce some of the motion sickness but can now do a couple hours at a time no problem. I don’t use it everyday, but when I do use it, I’m very glad I have it. Also a quick and easy way to impress people at parties is to let them try it

We love the unit, graphics and games are amazing. I definitely recommend this for anyone interested in VR gaming.

Great Bang for the Buck

I've had mine for about a year and a half now, and I can safely say if you want to get into VR, Quest 3 or 3S is the way to go.
