Meta Quest 3 / Initial Experience

The head strap included by Meta is clearly of poor quality, intentionally, an attempt to steer people into having to make a second purchase for comfort .. it’d be nice of them to sell comfortable head straps as a default. They do offer a lot at their price point, ability wise, assuming you are good at…wearing it. It is immersive - IF you can get the visor/mask comfortably adjusted and secured. But if you move your body at pretty much any level above turtle-speed, the visor pretty much slides off your carefully prepared position…unless the headset is on very, very tight. The UI leans very much towards gaming. The productivity aspect just isn’t there yet, partially due to lack of consistent hand-gesture accuracy + awkward physical-environment/weight/lack of mobility.

Virtual reality

Unfortunately I am not super tech savvy and this virtual reality headset came with zero instructions. I wasn’t even sure how to turn it on. There are embedded instructions digitally after getting it booted up. I am still in the learning phase.
