For a product produced by the manufacturer of the headset you’d think they’d account for the extra battery pack somehow. They don’t. The rear weight will disengage the headset from the pins that charge the headset. Occasionally you have to reset the charging chord into the dock to get any device to charge for some reason. I do not recommend this base at all.

This is a very expensive item. Why would they not include the brick needed to charge? It's got the USB-C cable, but doesn't include a brick to plug it into. For this outrageous price, everything needed should be included.

It is a great product if you keep the original everything, maybe would work with elite strap. If you get a 3rd party head strap or joystick grips, it will not be compatible, and I highly highly highly recommend you go 3rd party everything.

Head set did not contact OK most of the time. I have to move the headset all time to charge

A must with your meta quest 3 purchase. Not sure why the controllers come with regular batteries, seems like this should come automatically with purchase of the meta quest 3.

Best VR console and best Batman game I truly feel like I am Batman when I play this leave it up to rocksteady to take a Batman game and crack it up

Works ok. Sometimes you have to prop up the headset to get it to charge. The battery in the headset is the worst yet.

The handgrips charge and are easy to get the light to charge turning on. The cradle for the headset and the small pins that need to be linked together for cradle charging the actual headset itself is a hit and miss with it mostly being a miss and a nightmare to get it right. About to return it for this very reason, sadly. Great idea in concept, poor production strategy to get it to work.

Keeps my quest 3 charged and ready to go, plus it works with my grip straps. A bit expensive, but the build quality is top teir

Pretty much every improvement one could ask for over the Quest 2. Very much a competitive model to the apple vision, but for a fraction of the price.

It works great, but it can sometimes be a struggle to get the headset properly seated so that it charges.

This is very useful Dock. I use it everyday. It makes metaquest 3 fancy. It is very convinient to charge both Metaquest 3 gogle and controllers. It conteins two rechargable battery for the controllers. I highly recommended item for Quest 3.

DO NOT BUY THIS if you plan to alter your facial interface at all. I installed a nose light guard (mostly for comfort as without it the headset hits the sides of my nose and hurts) and with it attached the headset WILL NOT CHARGE. They've designed the cradle to be too snug to the form of the stock headset. This screams anti-consumer to me and honestly I'm pretty mad about it.

I purchased this item for my son hoping to save on battery’s. It is not worth it. Since day one opening the item the left controller does not stay connected, it constantly drops and losses connection with the system if the rechargeable battery is used. I have reached out to Metaquest and all I’ve gotten is bunch of back and forth emails and no response when I requested to talk to a manager. Don’t buy it isn’t worth it.

Enjoy the ability to keep my VR charged in between playing. But, when it’s not in use, it’s put away. The charge station holds everything in place nicely and looks great. I haven’t had any problems with that this time.

Unless, you have the time to continually make sure the headgear does not move slightly while charging, this system does not work. If you zoom in on the small charging plate you will see a very small lip that the headgear should connect. The headgear is flexible for user comfort causing it to fall off the charger lip. wait for another brand. The handles charge great!

If you plan to use an extended battery and strap from Meta for the Quest 3, avoid this product. It does not charge effectively the extended battery. The controller batteries charge quickly, but do not last, and if you transport them in a case and don't use them within a single day they go dead for waking from movement in the case. The design quality visually is pretty good, but the purpose is not met well, and the only good thing about this purchase is the longer charging cable. Not worth the $129.00 price tag.

My wife and i just into vr, we play casually. We decided to buy the quest 3's, and did researched what accessories were must haves. This dock was #1 on the list. And rightfully so...
