Regarding the TV casting lag, you are likely spot on about the network connection! For the smoothest experience, we highly recommend ensuring both your headset and your TV (or casting device) are connected to the same 5GHz Wi-Fi band, rather than the standard 2.4GHz band. This usually clears up most of the delay right away.

It secures nicely around the head too, so it doesnt feel like it is going to fall off or its too tight and hurts. I am very sensitive to any pressure on my head, so regardless i still get a bit of a headache but its soo much easier to deal with now! I also enjoy the controls, very easy to work with and light. I got this for my sister actually and she is in love with it, she has had no complaints yet. Her experience has been enjoyable, and the one time i tried it, i also quite enjoyed it. I would recommend to anyonw that likes the vr headsets.

I’m familiar with VR since 2013 and this has been one of the easiest and most enjoyable experiences when it comes to VR. The headset is light considering the tracking cams and screens packed in it. The only thing holding it back is the software set up. Getting it to combine with Facebook is tedious and long process but past that it’s seem less fun and great entertainment. Highly recommend to anyone that is unfamiliar with VR and wants to get into it for the first time.

My only complaint is that I wish the battery life were better. Since it's still new to me, I sometimes feel a bit nauseous during certain movements—like flying or jumping off something—but that's probably just an adjustment period. Other than that, it's a really cool experience!

The Quest 3S offers an average 2.5 hours in the Metaverse but we know that many users want to remain in the Metaverse for much longer, so we've made a product to accommodate that! If the 2.5 hours isn't doing the trick for you, you can pick up our Elite Strap with Battery from our store for extra play time.
You're also very right in saying VR does has a bit of a learning curve and can be a bit disorientating for some time so we'd recommend starting off with less demanding apps/games to get you on your feet and also try a take a few breaks in between until the nauseating phase wears off!

This is my first vr headset and it is way better than i expected. Ive always wanted one and its so fun. Now, i do use steam link fir my games and i have a really good internet connection so your results may vary. But with a decent pc you can have a solid experience. Some setting are hard to find and some things are difficult to setup, but once its done, its glorious

Which version is best?

There were reviews and opinions on both versions. I decided for what I use this for the Meta Quest S was right for me. I use it for virtual exercise. It meets my needs, it’s fun, and I really love it. In the end, if you’re looking for a Meta quest, you cannot go wrong with any version that you purchase. I would highly recommend.

Be advised if you carry a prescription you might need it because it does leverage both close and far. Lastly make sure you have enough space.

Since Christmas was right around the corner I decided to get the Q3S for her. She actually cried when she opened it..Fast forward to today and she hasn't put it down since... Great gift because she moved to another city after getting married and now I get daily calls from her asking if i want to join her in the VR world for games we can play together!

But if you have the money i would recommend getting the quest 3 because of the pancake lenses, the current lenses on the quest 3s can make it seem blurry if you dont position it right in the center.

I went from a quest 2 that I had for 3 years and went up to this one and don't regret it at all. Runs smoothly and the sound quality is sooo good, has nice bass.

They love them. You can place time limits on them, but also the battery will die after about 2 hrs which makes a decent time limit itself. They can be used while plugged in, so that's not a full proof method, setting a time limit is better. There are also accessories that can be purchased to extend battery time. Regardless, the kids love them and they were easy to setup.
