It was a great purchase for the price. I hate the battery life; but, i purchased an elite headband with a battery extender and it solve all of my concerns. I would buy it again: wait. I did. I have purchased three of those. Well, I'll another when the fourth version is released.

Not this time. Expectation: a plug and play accessory that would work well with Steam to play VR games. Reality: A stand-alone device that aggressively thrusts its own market in your face every time you start it up. It supposedly works with Steam, but they make it a serious pain. Pros: If you want a stand alone device with integrated App Store, this is for you. Cons: No instructions in box You have to download their app on your phone and on any computer you want to link to. You have to download additional apps to get it to work with Steam. Air link seems unreliable. The included cable is way too short for doing wired link with a computer. Massive issues with linking and when linked and playing VR games (the whole reason I bought this thing), it has frequent freezes, massive lag, and random disconnects. System requirements are met, but due to all the extra apps needed to even connect and play, there’s a lot of troubleshooting across multiple apps and devices to try to figure out what is going wrong or if it’s just a defective device. TLDR - If you want a stand alone device with integrated app store, this may be worth the $. If you want a device that’ll connect to your computer and play games you already paid for, prepare for a slog of downloading extra apps and endless troubleshooting when you follow the directions and it still doesn’t work.

Love that it has safety ties for the wrist on the hand controllers- from my 17 year old to my 5 year old I feel confident they won’t slip off and fly across the room.

With a comfortable fit to clear and vibrant views, it's all there to give you the most amazing virtual experience possible.
Now there is something we want to mention, every user for our Meta Quest headset should have the right account for them, however children under the age of 10 are not able to create accounts. If your 5 year old continues to use an account that is not for them, it may be restricted in the future.
We also want to mention that Meta Quest is not a toy, and younger and smaller-sized children may not be ready for Meta Quest. Children's bodies tend to be less developed, so their eyes, necks, backs and strength may not yet allow them to use Meta Quest comfortably or safely. They may not have sufficient strength or the headset may not fit. This is particularly true for younger or smaller-sized children. They may also have more intense reactions to virtual content and may have a more difficult time distinguishing virtual content from the physical world, even after they stop use. They may not read or understand warnings and instructions, or not mention or stop use if they experience blurry vision, soreness or other symptoms or discomfort.

My Meta quest 3s experience

The only issue is that the battery life is very short and I have to constantly charge it after an hour. I say its an issue since I like playing it a lot and use it very often. But overall its a cool product that I would love to keep using.
