I’ve had the Quest 3s for a bit now, and it honestly blew me away. The setup was quick, the tracking is super smooth, and the graphics are way clearer than I expected. The mixed reality features are really cool being able to see my surroundings while playing makes everything feel more immersive and safe. The headset feels lighter and more comfortable compared to older models too. If you’re into gaming or just want to explore VR, this is definitely one of the best all around options right now. Battery life could be a bit longer, but overall, it’s a great buy.

The Meta Quest 3S has been an incredible purchase and easily one of the best Christmas gifts we’ve ever given our son. He’s 12 years old, and he absolutely loves it. The setup was straightforward, and within minutes he was exploring virtual worlds and learning how everything works. The graphics and performance are impressive, especially for a standalone headset. Everything runs smoothly, the visuals are clear, and the controls feel natural and responsive. It’s easy for beginners to pick up, but still powerful enough to keep growing with as he gets older. The included game, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, was an amazing bonus. It really shows what the headset is capable of and adds a lot of value to the purchase. Watching him get excited about the experience and talk about the gameplay afterward has been great. What I appreciate most is how immersive and engaging the Quest 3S is. After spending serious time with the Meta Quest 3S, I can honestly say it's one of the best bang-for-your-buck headsets on the market right now. For $299 to $399, you're getting next-gen performance, full-color passthrough, access to the entire Quest ecosystem, and solid tracking—all in a wireless, standalone package. Yes, it cuts a few corners to keep the price low-mainly the use of Fresnel lenses instead of pancake optics, and a basic strap system-but none of these compromises are dealbreakers. The visuals are still sharp, the performance is buttery smooth, and the overall experience feels way more premium than its price suggests. If you're new to VR, upgrading from a Quest 2, or just looking for a powerful mixed-reality headset without spending $500+, the Quest 3S is a no-brainer. It brings most of the Quest 3's core strengths—like the XR2 Gen 2 chip, great hand and controller tracking, and access to next-gen games-at a significantly lower cost. For me, it strikes the perfect balance between affordability, performance, and immersion. Sure, if you want the absolute best visuals, the Quest 3 is still king-but the Quest 3S is incredibly close, and for hundreds less.

I bought the Meta Quest 3 from Best Buy and had a great experience. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. Setup was quick and easy, and the performance is impressive. The visuals are sharp, tracking is very accurate, and mixed reality features are a big upgrade. Games and apps run smoothly, and the headset feels lighter and more comfortable than previous versions. Definitely worth it and I’d recommend buying it from Best Buy.

I got this delivered to my home. i think bestbuy should get a different delivery service. i couldnt contact the driver at all or the company. but overall the metaquest 3s is fun . As a black person it wasnt really made for our kind. Its so many racist people on VR . I really feel like it should be more games and fun activities for the price also, having to buy a fan or different headband for the vr is absolutely insane. the batteries needed for the joysticks are a headache as well. the games get boring quick. and to play good games cost you $50

I had the first version Oculus and this one is amazing! The cameras which allow you to see your surroundings (if you choose instead of full imersion) are awesome! I can have a snack/drink while I'm watching multiple screens, configured to my liking (size/placement/background). I'm a big Walking Dead fan but not a gamer. That being said, the game is GREAT! I've even played it in the yard at night (you can map a safe area so you don't run into things) and it feels SO realistic that I had the chills and hair standing up on the back of my neck at times. I also like to be able to lay on the couch and watch my YouTube videos, browse FB and other sites. These are way more comfortable than previous versions and lighter. Very easy to setup and intuitive to use. I feel like I've only begun to explore the capabilities. Get them, you won't be disappointed. Just having a floating giant screen is worth the price alone, even if you use them for nothing else (but you will!).

I was hesitant to buy a VR headset because im not a gamer but it was still worth it. I bought it mainly for streaming movies and sports. The image quality is amazing(1080p) and you can size the screen to as big as you want. They also have theater mode which allows you to curve the screen. You can have multiple app or browser windows running at once which is pretty cool. I use the MLB, YouTube and Amazon Prime apps. For everything else i log in via their web browser. The only downsides for me is the older lens which sometimes appear cloudy and show rings and thr battery life.

My son loves it. My son has wanted a VR for what seems like forever. This was so easy to set up, and is wonderful quality. Son enjoys the graphics and sound. Absolutely worth every penny. Great product at a great price point.

I am new to VR and have wanted to always own a meta VR Headset since the Quest 2. I didn’t want to end up spending $500 + taxes(~$531) + Accessories (~$610) on this hobby to start with so the Quest 3S seemed like the best option out there. A lot of posts online say getting the 3S is not worth it but in my initial experience, it’s beautiful and absolutely worth it for someone who hasn’t had VR or has owned the Quest 2 and DOESN’T want to spend the extra $200-250. Pros: Color Passthrough - A game changer, very cool being able to place screens in my space and easily also have spatial awareness as well as do some other tasks on the side Better processor - Easily handles all tasks you throw at it Hand tracking - Almost flawless, very intuitive and easy to control the software using my hands. This is some iron man level stuff imo. Possibilities with updates are endless. Productivity: Remote Desktop is SO USEFUL. I use it to code. I can have 3 screens, pull them towards me or blow them up. Gaming - Games look and feel great overall! No doubt because of the screen reading small text is an issue if the monitors are “blown up” in size, but, you can always pull them towards you to magnify the text. It’s a workaround and I am all for it. Don’t want to pay the extra $200 for the better lenses on the Quest 3. Will probably do so for the Quest 4 because I do eventually want a better screen and lenses as they will elevate the overall experience. Cons: Old screen and lenses The “Sweet Spot” is hard to find at the beginning, but with a week’s usage you should be able to easily find it and adjust to it. Very difficult to use my phone/laptop screen in color passthrough due to clarity of the screen. This would’ve been great but not a dealbreaker. Eye fatigue- I increased my usage from 15 minutes in the first 2 days to over 2.5 hours on the 4th day, no problems. Eye fatigue definitely decreased. Dizziness- Some games make me feel dizzy or nauseous, but I guess I’ll just get used to it over time. Overall - I am happy with my purchase. It does what it’s supposed to do and does it well. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone just getting into VR.

Love it!! This is more fun than I ever imagined. I can't wait until Christmas so the whole family can see!!! (OK so I opened it early to charge it up and preload some goodies and get semi acquainted with it so the entire day wasn't spent being frustrated... worth it!!) I had no idea shooting cartoon aliens could look so real. Also, 3d movies are mind blowing. This is a feast for the eyes and is perfect for anyone that doesn't get out of the house much. Even if they do, countless fun things to see and do. Even exercize is fun with this baby. Spoil yourself and get one, you won't regret it!

The system itself is fantastic! it is so fun to play on as well as its very easy to navigate. I would 100% recommend this to any gaming individual.

It works great. The graphics are nice, it's fast and much more comfortable now. It secures nicely around the head too, so it doesnt feel like it is going to fall off or its too tight and hurts. I am very sensitive to any pressure on my head, so regardless i still get a bit of a headache but its soo much easier to deal with now! I also enjoy the controls, very easy to work with and light. I got this for my sister actually and she is in love with it, she has had no complaints yet. Her experience has been enjoyable, and the one time i tried it, i also quite enjoyed it. I would recommend to anyonw that likes the vr headsets.

My 11yr old son loves it and well so do I we love the realistic look of the games and very easy to play
