II bought the Meta Quest 3S as a gift for my 15-year-old nephew and he absolutely loves it. It was easy to set up, the graphics are great, and being wireless makes it very convenient. It’s a fun and immersive experience, and a great gift choice.

This VR headset is amazing. The visuals are really clear, and the experience feels super immersive. The controllers respond well, and everything runs smoothly. I’ve been using it a lot and it’s honestly so much fun. Definitely worth it!

I had the first version Oculus and this one is amazing! The cameras which allow you to see your surroundings (if you choose instead of full imersion) are awesome! I can have a snack/drink while I'm watching multiple screens, configured to my liking (size/placement/background). I'm a big Walking Dead fan but not a gamer. That being said, the game is GREAT! I've even played it in the yard at night (you can map a safe area so you don't run into things) and it feels SO realistic that I had the chills and hair standing up on the back of my neck at times. I also like to be able to lay on the couch and watch my YouTube videos, browse FB and other sites. These are way more comfortable than previous versions and lighter. Very easy to setup and intuitive to use. I feel like I've only begun to explore the capabilities. Get them, you won't be disappointed. Just having a floating giant screen is worth the price alone, even if you use them for nothing else (but you will!).

The Meta Quest 3 is easily one of the best standalone VR headsets out right now. The setup is quick, the interface feels smooth, and the passthrough upgrade makes a huge difference being able to see your room clearly while switching between apps or adjusting your play area is a game changer. The visuals are noticeably sharper than previous models, and the tracking feels solid even in smaller spaces. It’s lightweight enough for longer sessions, and the controllers are comfortable, though hand tracking has gotten good enough that I actually use it more than I expected. What really stands out is how versatile it is. Whether you’re gaming, watching movies, or trying out mixed-reality apps, it feels like the headset can do a bit of everything without needing a PC. The app library is growing fast too, so there’s always something new to try. Overall, the Quest 3 delivers a great mix of performance, comfort, and features. If you’re looking to upgrade from an older headset or trying VR for the first time it’s definitely worth it.

My daughter loves her VR, she is able to play some of her favorite games with her friends that have VR Headsets. Tge batteries in the controller wore out fairly quickly, but I still think it was a great buy.

okay, so I'm not a gamer, but I definitely appreciate how cool this technology is. I'm a wannabe mural artist that has seen this tool specifically on lots of YouTube videos. I was debating between the 3S and the 3 to get into this, and was really leaning to the 3 for the higher resolution, but I'll tell you if you're just starting out, get this! I bought it when it was $250 on sale around the holidays, and I think it's a really great value for what it is, considering I'm not doing any gaming and just want to use this for art and blowing up things for mini murals. This was a fantastic introduction. I do find the resolution a tiny bit on the low side, but it really doesn't make that much of a difference as long as your artwork is high resolution. Definitely recommend getting. I will still keep even if I upgrade.

There’s a great variety of games and experiences, from fun and active ones to creative and educational options, which makes it easy to find age-appropriate content. We also appreciate the parental controls and safety features, which give us peace of mind. Overall, this has been one of the best gifts we’ve ever purchased—entertaining, engaging, and something the whole family enjoys watching and trying out. This is the second one I’ve owned and it works amazing just as the last.

I got a Meta Quest 3S 128GB as a gift to myself for making it into my university’s honor society. I did get this before the $50 price hike. However, with the 3S 128GB being the cheapest way to get into VR, it's still a very good headset. I do recommend getting a carrying case, the prescription lenses (if you wear glasses), a new facial interface, and a battery strap. The glasses spacer works as a temporary solution, but honestly, the prescription lenses make the experience 4x better. You do not need to get a Meta Quest official carrying case, but having one is, in my opinion, required (I bought one off the “forest app” for $22). When traveling, the lenses are exposed, and they could easily get scratched. Most carrying cases have an insert that prevents anything from rubbing into the lenses. The facial interface is fine for someone spending only 20 or so minutes in the headset, but anything beyond that, you will quickly see how sweaty you get. The mesh interface works so much better than the original and is only $30-$40, depending on where you get it. It is a must-have in my honest opinion. You do not need all these things to fight away to have a good time, but they are definitely things you would probably want to get as you become more acclimated to the VR experience.

If you're new to VR, upgrading from a Quest 2, or just looking for a powerful mixed-reality headset without spending $500+, the Quest 3S is a no-brainer. It brings most of the Quest 3's core strengths—like the XR2 Gen 2 chip, great hand and controller tracking, and access to next-gen games-at a significantly lower cost. For me, it strikes the perfect balance between affordability, performance, and immersion. Sure, if you want the absolute best visuals, the Quest 3 is still king-but the Quest 3S is incredibly close, and for hundreds less.

Fun little device that does what it's suppose to. Though I'm confused on how to claim the free game that came with it. No mention of the game on the box, or inside. Though the best buy app shows I did get a set that has the game. Don't expect mind blowing graphics, or long battery life in anything. Still fun.

This takes gaming to a whole new level. I was super excited for the bundle but unfortunately it didnt load when i set up the headset. It was back and forth to try to get answers but Best Buy diesnt handle getting the digital code and trying to go thru Meta is well impossible to talk to anyone. I ended up giving up and just buying TWD Saints and Sinners since it was on sale. Now if your not a big gamer there is so much more you can explore with these things, they are absolutely amazing. Workouts are fun, explore the world and more! Definitely recommend getting one but I don’t recommend getting one with a bundle. Even though i didnt get my game with it i still say this is a 5 star

My son loves it. My son has wanted a VR for what seems like forever. This was so easy to set up, and is wonderful quality. Son enjoys the graphics and sound. Absolutely worth every penny. Great product at a great price point.

Obviously this is a budget device and reason why the lens can give eyestrain if prolongued use but it looks great and plays great, if youre looking for a good vr device i think this should suffice its pretty quick, good for multiplayer and other fun gimmicky games and still looks amazing for a device with fresnel lens and lower resolution than the more premium meta quest 3 and Pro.

Best one yet! Love the graphics and the extras where you can see even with it on. Just so many extras and not enough space to put it all. It was the best gift ever to give! I enjoy using it as well.
