Unfortunately I didn’t get the protection program on this. only saying yes to recommendation because you need it to play online with oculus. Thank God they’re switching that around.

Worked better then expected

I still think the data transfer itself needs a little work from a software point of view but the cord itself transfers so much and so fast.

I unlock so many cooler features with this link, it really is worth every dollar (after getting a $7 a USB-C -> USB 3.0 adapter). All compatible games run better and beat saber mods are TO DIE FOR!

When I received it the cable was already damaged. Just look up good 3rd party cables for meta quest on YouTube.

If your computer doesn’t have a built in usb-c, you can’t, and an adapter is needed. Fun finding out about this Christmas morning. Low key feel ripped off.

While there are other less expensive options, you may sacrifice both charge and transfer rates if you are not very careful in your selection.

This cable had a problem with my usb-c so i purchased a converter. This solved the issue with disconnecting but performance is horrid. I've maybe had 2 good play sessions and the rest have been bad. I recommend just downloading the vitural desktop app for oculus and its a much better user experience and even works better. I will be returning this $80 plug that doesn't work as advertised. Even the oculus message board has tons of the same concerns with no response in sight from oculus.
