Cable rarely works, tried motherboard type c, her cases type c, and the virtual link port on her nvidia 2080 and had mixed results every time. Sometimes it worked, sometimes the speed wpuld change, sometimes flipping the cable fixed it, and other times the quest died while using the cable.

Just to give a bit of clarity on the pricing, some USB-C cables are used for power transfer, whereas others (such as our Link Cable) are optimized for Data Transfer.
To ensure the best performance possible, the Link Cable is constructed with a fiber optic core, which is more flexible, faster and more reliable than the industry standard copper wire found in cables.
As mentioned before, the Link Cable is optimized for Data Transfer, at a speed of 5GB per second, as well as this, the link cable will charge your headset while you play.
The link cable has been built and optimized for the Virtual Experience, we are not able to guarantee other USB-C cables working as well as our official Link Cable.

The straight connection is very frail. Be very careful that you don't bend this in anyway. It's overly expensive for a USB cable.

I’ve been using air link and have zero latency issues meaning I can play PC VR games without any wires and anywhere in my house.

The mass of the cord is too much for the connector. It either wears out the USBC jack on the pc and the head set or it just breaks itself

So you have a cord, that you must have to connect your headset to your computer, but it won't connect to your computer. I eventually bought an Anker cord, which was much cheaper, and it worked just fine.

Complete waste of money - you can get regular long cables that work just the same but are way more durable. With this cable all you're paying for is bleeding edge tech - the cable is actually fibre optic. Basically what that means is its high end, delicate, expensive cable meant to transfer data across super long distances, like the ocean floor - its too stiff and breaks extremely easily for uses like a VR headset.
