It has a great length, is generally lightweight and pretty flexible. The L-shape connector that plugs into the headset is a nice design choice, and it has a little velcro strap that you can use to wrap around the headband to keep it in place. BUT, there's a major flaw with the current Oculus Quest 2 firmware (v26) that seems to have stopped allowing any charge whatsoever to be passed over this cable. The UI will say it's charging, but you will quickly watch your Quest 2 battery drain to 0% within 1.5-2 hrs. Measuring the power from the USB-C port will show a 0 mA reading. Until Oculus addresses this issue, this cable is kind of useless to me. I've since ordered this USB-C to USB-A Anker cable that is recommended in the official Oculus Link support documentation, which resolved this charging & playing issue (it's also $60 less): https://support.oculus.com/444256562873335/

I have a Index for VR but my favorite game (besides half life Alyx) is Asgard's Wrath which has issues on the Index dropping massive frames. I also was able to access my entire Oculus games without needing to set up a second system with separate trading points. This allowed me to use the stand alone Oculus Quest 2 worth my Oculus games with the option of Quest 2 or O.G. Rift via linking to my pc.

Solid Cable

If you want to be able to charge the device while using it tethered + want to have ample room for moving around, then this is the cable to get.

Long and sturdy

Bought it with the purpose of be able to use it a link with my PC and play PC VR games. However an update to the device (QUEST 2) in September 2022 messed up with the cable link. No longer able to connect to my PC using the cable. BUT FEAR NOT! Quest launched an app - Virtual Desktop. It is NOT FREE, you can buy it at the oculus store, about $20. And it works very decently with connecting to your PC and play games from PC. The cable now I use it as an option to charge the VR while I play. I, personally, don’t like to charge while play - is uncomfortable - but if it the battery is too low and in the middle of a game with friends might as well (mostly charge and play while STATIONARY; I wouldn’t recommend to play games like beat saber with the cable - I almost trip (yes you can laugh).
